The Walking Dead Midseason Premiere Poster: Don’t Look Back!

The Walking Dead will soon return to the land of the living… television shows. The highest-rated series in cable history, and the highest-rated show on ALL of TV among 18-49-year olds, comes back with fresh episodes on Sunday, February 9. What can viewers expect, following the death of The Governor that concluded the first half of Season 4? It’s unclear. AMC is remaining mum on spoilers. But the network is warning Rick and Carl not to look back in a new promotional poster, as you can see here. Check it out now and remember to watch The Walking Dead online in order to catch up prior to the midseason premiere:

New Fern Species Named For Lady Gaga

Botanists at Duke University have honored Lady Gaga by naming a new genus of ferns – consisting of an impressive 19 species – after the eclectic pop superstar. Check out the resemblance! What gave Duke the idea to do this? “We wanted to name this genus for Lady Gaga because of her fervent defense of equality and individual expression,” said Kathleen Pryer, Duke Professor of Biology. “And as we started to consider it, the ferns themselves gave us more reasons why.” At one stage of its life, the new genus Gaga has “somewhat fluid definitions of gender.” Maybe those Lady Gaga hermaphrodite theorists are onto something! Also, the ferns bear a distinct DNA sequence that spells out … GAGA. Names of the new ferns include Gaga germanotta – a nod to the artist’s real name, Stefani Germanotta – and Gaga monstraparva , which translates to “monster little.” Little Monsters. So good. The Gaga genus of ferns can be found in Central and South America, Mexico, Arizona and Texas. Keep your eye out for the wild Gaga in her natural habitat!

American Idol Premiere Date, Promo Pic: Released!

Set your DVR, American Idol fans: Fox has announced that Season 12 of television’s highest-rated show will debut over two nights in early 2013: Wednesday, January 16 and Thursday, January 17. The series has also unveiled a new promotional photo, courtesy of E! News , which at least makes it look like Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj are getting along. At least for the 30 seconds it took to snap this picture… Are you excited for Season 12? Do you believe Mariah and Nicki were ever angry at each other? Or, like Steven Tyler , do you think it was all contrived for PR’s sake?

In a recent interview, Jennifer Lopez described boyfriend Casper Smart as a ” good egg .” But the 24-year old backup dancer gets down, dirty and totally bad – in the best kind of way – in a pair of new promotional photos! In two images from her upcoming music video (for the track ” Dance Again “) J. Lo poses with her young, shirtless man, as the couple blindfolds each other with a black cloth that reads “Love is blind.” The official video drops this Thursday during American Idol and, based on these pictures, it’s safe to say both genders now have a reason to tune in…

Things got a little testy on twitter Monday night when Basketball Wives Star Tami Roman addressed Love & Hip Hop star Olivia Longott for an interview she did with the New York Post . In the interview Longott gave her opinion on the differences between the two shows, saying “in ‘ Basketball Wives ,’ I thought they were always bickering about nothing. They didn’t really have anything else to talk about, everyone was just sitting around having drinks. In our show, there’s so much for everybody to gravitate to.” Apparently Tami wasn’t too impressed with Olivia’s synopsis about her show. Vibe.com posted the tweets between the two ladies. It seemed as though a twitter beef was about to ensue but Olivia quickly squashed it by saying she is a fan of Basketball Wives. Check out Kim’s new promotional photo her new fragrance, Gold. It pretty much sums up the basis for her fame, doesn’t it? Kim says the perfume makes her feel “sexy,” which we believe is what Ray J said soon after giving it to Kardashian on video . The fragrance, meanwhile, combines grapefruit with pink peppercorn and… look, if you actually purchase this item, you might as well go straight from the department store to a psychologist’s couch.
