Harry Styles and company have been all over American late night TV lately. In addition to performing on SNL this week, One Direction posed with Jimmy Kimmel and a bunch of stuffed animals for the “#CutestSelfieEver.” Prior to that, Jon Stewart pissed off One Direction fans by joking about the group’s involvement with ISIS. The wrath of 1D obsessives is not something to be taken lightly, but now it’s Christmas – a time for setting aside differences, sporting horrendous sweaters, and crooning carols that no one actually likes. In that spirit, pretend to enjoy Jimmy Fallon, One Direction, and The Roots belting out “Santa Claus is Coming to Town” with the help of some kids’ instruments: One Direction, Jimmy Fallon: “Santa Claus is Coming to Town” The lads are best known for their vocal abilities, but it’s the instrumentation that shines here, with an arsenal of crappy pre-school toys being used to achieve a solid holiday sound. Of course, this isn’t the first time that ?uestlove and crew have done impressive things with the stuff you’d find laying around a 1st grade music room. Louis Tomlinson Thanks Fans for Support; Where’s the Apology?

In the wake of his worst scandal to date, Louis Tomlinson has come out and thanked his fans for their support. Tomlinson and One Direction mate Zayn Malik were filmed smoking pot in a video that leaked online this week, while audio appears to catch them making racial and homophobic slurs as well. “Massive love to all our fans!! So incredibly supportive! Loveeeee,” Tomlinson Tweeted yesterday. But that response isn’t satisfactory to some. Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik Pot Smoking Video: How Did It Leak? Many don’t seem to care about the marijuana use (it’s not exactly unusual in the young pop music scene; heck, Miley Cyrus openly loves weed), but Tomlinson said the N-word and used “gay” in a negative context. Customers Stiff Waiter, Leave Anti-Gay Message on Check

A waiter at Carrabba’s Italian Grill in Overland Park, Kansas didn’t merely get stiffed on a tip by a couple of customers this week. He was told that his sexuality would cause him to rot in Hell. As reported by KMBC 9 News, the unnamed server went to pick up the bill from a meal after one of his tables cleared out, only to find a message scrawled on the back that read: “Thank you for your service, it was excellent. That being said, we cannot in good conscience tip you, for your homosexual lifestyle is an affront to God.  May God have mercy on you.” The difficult-to-believe gesture quickly spread on social media, with many locals offering to at least pick up the man’s lost tip. But he says this isn’t necessary. “The offers to help pay me back are much appreciated, but not at all needed,” says the waiter. “I’d prefer to let my work ethic and my service do the talking, nothing else.” This is the latest revolting receipt-related story. In September, a Red Lobster waitress was referred to by the N-Word on a bill, while a minister shafted a server in January by saying he gives God a 10% gratuity, so shy should he give her 18?

Pauly D to Baby Mama: Stop Using Love Child For Your Own Fame!

Pauly D is going about his business with class, but nevertheless believes that his baby mama is shamelessly treating their child like a golden ticket. In an impromptu interview in North Carolina, the Jersey Shore alum was asked how he felt about becoming a dad, and admitted he’s excited and nervous. “I want to give the baby the best life she ever had,” Pauly said, flashing a huge smile and joking that DTF now stands for “diapers, tantrums and formula.” Ba-dum-ching! Is this thing on?! Wonder how long he’s been waiting to drop that one on a celebrity gossip photographer. In any case, he turned serious, saying flat out, “I want my baby.” It’s clear he views the baby as a blessing , even though he originally wanted her to have an abortion, and cannot wait to meet her – hopefully next week. It’s also clear that while he acknowledged he’s involved in a real custody battle, he wants what’s best for the child and that means two involved parents. He is actively pursuing that goal legally, filing for sole custody and looking to have the case shifted to Nevada, where he currently lives and DJs. Amanda Markert claims she hasn’t made a dime off Pauly D and is calling for a peace treaty of sorts. He would like that too, but he’s also not buying it. He kept it civil, but when asked if he felt Amanda was using the child, five-month-old Amabella, for her own fame and fortune, Pauly D didn’t hesitate: “Absolutely. 100 percent. It’s unfortunate.” Translation: See you in court.

One Direction Tells Fans "Story of My Life"

The Jonas Brothers may be breaking up . But another boy band has no plans on even slowing down. One Direction has released the second track of their upcoming album, “Midnight Memories.” It’s titled “Story of My Life,” it features the vocal stylings of Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson – and you can listen to it now! One Direction – “Story of My Life” As you might expect from the boys of 1D, this follow-up to ” Best Song Ever ” focused on a special young woman. Sample lyrics include: “The story of my life/ I take her home/ I drive all night to keep her warm and time is frozen/ The story of my life/ I give her hope/ I spend her love until she’s broke inside/ The story of my life.” Look for an accompanying music video to hit the Internet soon and for “Midnight Memories” is take over the music world on November 25.

This just in: people really, really like One Direction. The band’s latest concert film, This Is Us , blew past the competition on Friday, taking in $8.9 on its first day of release. One Direction Movie Profits The mark places this documentary-type movie above the opening gross of Michael Jackson’s This Is It ($7.4 million), though it trails Justin Bieber : Never Say Never ($12.4 million). One Direction, of course, already dominates the music scene, having recently collected an MTV Video Music Award for Song of the Summer and owning the VEVO record for most video views in a 24-hour period. One Direction Performs for Largest Crowd in Today Show History

One Direction has set another record. The boy band, who holds the mark for most VEVO video views in 24 hours, performed this morning on Today in front of what Matt Lauer described as “the biggest crowd” the show has ever had in its plaza. Watch them make 18,000 spectators scream with a rendition of “What Makes You Beautiful.” One Direction Today Show Performance It’s been an eventful week for the One Direction members. Zayn Malik got engaged to Perrie Edwards, while Liam Payne defended Sophia Smith and told off haters online who gave his new girlfriend a hard time.
