Pamela Smith filed a paternity suit against MJ, claiming he fathered her 17-year-old son Taj and demanding a DNA test, full custody and child support. Jordan did have a fling with Smith while he was married to his first wife Juanita, but denied paternity and asked a judge to fine her for wasting his time. His Airness’ wish was granted . After the court found that Taj’s paternity was established way back in 2003 – and Jordan is not the father – the judge slammed Pamela over the stunt. The judge called her bogus paternity claim one big publicity stunt, pointing out she hired a publicist before even getting a lawyer and smearing MJ. The judge fined her an undisclosed amount and ordered her to pay Jordan’s legal bills ($9,704.13). Not bad … well unless he decides to sue her now. A new rumor suggests that Jay Leno will retire from The Tonight Show next spring. For real this time. Seriously. No backsies for a change. A pair of high level NBC executives say the network is concerned that Jimmy Kimmel’s move to 11:35 p.m. on ABC is sucking up all the younger late-night viewers – and that Jimmy Fallon should therefore be installed as Tonight Show host before it’s too late. “Kimmel has done extremely well,” a network veteran tells The Hollywood Reporter . ” Jay wins overall , but on any given night, it’s neck-and-neck in 18-49. I understand where they might have fear and also feel that they own the solution [in Fallon.]” According to the report, Leno would announce in May that he is stepping down from the coveted spot when his contract is up at the end of the 2013-2014 television season. Fallon would then premiere with a “soft launch” during the summer of 2014 before a formal fall debut. Asked about the possibility, a rep for Leno simply said: “We do not speculate on rumor.”
A 37-year-old Florida man is missing after being swallowed by a sinkhole that appeared under his bedroom around 11 p.m. Thursday, an official said. Jeffrey Bush has not been heard from since the hole appeared in his bedroom in Seffner, Fla., near Tampa. Bush is feared to have been killed. Sinkhole in Florida Authorities have said the sinkhole, believed to be up to 30 feet deep, was “seriously unstable.” A 100-foot safety zone was set up around it Friday. Nearby homes were evacuated for fear of a sudden collapse. Jessica Damico, public relations officer for Hillsborough County Fire Department, said Saturday that experts resumed working at the site at 7 a.m. ET. “Right now they are still looking at soil samples and drilling and looking for stability, so they can find the edge of the sinkhole ,” she said from the scene. She said the sinkhole seemed to be about 15 feet deep, or perhaps even more. However she added the actual depth of unstable ground was unclear. Damico said there was still no sign of Jeffrey Bush. “If you look in, it’s about 15 feet and then there’s only sand,” she said, noting that engineers are only using camera equipment to examine the hole. The area is still too unstable for people to go onto. Bill Bracken, the owner of an engineering company called to assess the hole, said he “cannot tell you why it [the house] has not collapsed yet.” He said the earth below is a “very large, very fluid mass.” “This is not your typical sinkhole,” Hillsborough County administrator Mike Merrill added. “This is a chasm. For that reason, we’re being very deliberate.” While some in the neighborhood did not the risks, sinkholes are common in Florida; home insurers are required by law to provide coverage for them. Florida’s geological makeup increases the likelihood of sinkholes, and more than 500 have been reported in Hillsborough County since 1954. A monster 400-foot sinkhole sucked in a house, five sports cars, two businesses, and part of a swimming pool, appearing near Orlando back in 1981. “Envision a piece of Swiss cheese,” Taylor Yarkosky, a sinkhole expert from Brooksville, Fla., told the AP. “Any house in Florida could be in that situation.”

In April, the highest court in the land will listen to arguments about the legality of California’s Proposition 8, an amendment that passed in 2008 and which declares “only marriage between a man and a woman is valid or recognized” in that state. Those such as Eastwood have affixed their name to this brief in the hope that this gay marriage ban will be overturned. The mother of Michael Jordan’s alleged love child never planned to file a paternity suit against the NBA legend, but the child himself reportedly insisted. According to TMZ, Pamela Smith had no desire to sue Jordan until her son pleaded with her to make his (alleged) dad admit paternity and pay support. Taj Jordan (Michael Jordan Secret Son) Video Pamela Smith is suing Michael for just that, paternity and child support, claiming MJ got her pregnant while he was still married to Juanita Vanoy. Sources close to Smith, who says Jordan knocked her up in 1995, has always had a good relationship with Michael and doesn’t need the money. However, it was her son Grant Reynolds (a.k.a. Taj Jordan) who desperately wants MJ to acknowledge him and urged her to file the legal documentation. Smith’s intention, her friends say, was never to “call Michael out” but simply to have the (alleged) father be a bigger part of his life for his sake. Allegedly, Michael and Grant have met a few times over the years. Pamela claims Michael has even given the family money and gifts here and there. Grant, 16, always had to keep it a secret, though … until he apparently decided not to anymore. The teen made the above video last December. No response yet from Jordan or his camp.
