Penelope Soto is very sorry – and, as a result, she will not be spending 30 days behind bars. The 18-year old became a viral sensation last week after she laughed in the face of a Miami-Dade judge prior to flipping him off , a gesture which earned Soto a month-long prison sentence. But Soto, who was initially arrested for possession of Xanax, shed tears in court yesterday when acknowledging her mistake and agreeing to treatment for drug addiction. Playing Miley’s biggest fan, the host joked about how much better of a singer Cyrus is than that Justin Bieber character, adding that he “heard [Bieber] got busted for smoking weed .” And? “He’s really sorry about it. And people make mistakes. And he’s never gonna do it again.” Pretty funny stuff and a pretty unique way to acknowledge an error in judgment. Jim Jones must really think his Capo status is more than the name of his new album and his pretend Dipset responsibilities. Bossip has obtained exclusive details regarding the rapper’s arrest earlier today in New York City. According to the NYPD, Jones was arrested around 12pm in Downtown Manhattan after being pulled over for driving his 2007 Bentley in a bus-only lane on Broadway. During the course of the routine traffic stop, Jones was unable to provide the arresting officer with his driver’s license, which, as it turns out, is currently suspended. He was charged with driving with a suspended license, aggravated unlicensed operation and failure to obey a traffic device. Jones was issued a desk appearance, which means he will be released today. At press time, however, it is unclear whether Jones remains in custody. His court date was not immediately available. Jones’ fifth studio album, Capo is set to be released next Tuesday, April 5, via E1 Records.
