Apple Cans Dr. Dre Original Scripted TV Series ‘Vital Signs’ Before It Airs

The rest is here:

Source: Supplied by WENN.com / WENN Near the top of the year, Apple announced it was hopping into the wide-open streaming market and introduced a list of original programming. Among them was a series from Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine titled Vital Signs , but Apple’s boss Tim Cook has decided not to go forward with the show for a variety of reasons. According to a report from the Wall Street Journal, Cook was put off by several scenes of violence, drug use, and sex scenes, including orgies, and despite Dre’s efforts to tone down the content, it wasn’t good enough. Deadline adds in its reporting : Cook personally decided against moving forward on it, opting to lead Apple’s proposed content services in a direction different from its competition and toward less-edgy content. The WSJ said the decision was made because Apple was afraid to jeopardize its consumer products sales, an issue not faced by streamers like Netflix and Amazon. The WSJ also reported that a show featuring Resse Witherspoon and Jennifer Aniston was also toned down. Apple also backed off from a Whitney Cummings show about the #MeToo movement (“too sensitive a topic”) and asked director M. Night Shyamalan to remove crucifixes from characters’ homes in his psychological thriller because of fears of alienating religious viewers. It appears that Apple is doing a massive internal creative overhaul after it was slated to debate the service later this year. It has now been moved to debut around March 2019. — Photo: WENN

Lark Voorhies Denies Sex Tape Rumors, Reveals Lupus Diagnosis

Earlier this week, we reported on an epic Lark Voorhies Instagram rant in which the former Saved By the Bell star tore her ex-husband, Jimmy Green, to shreds and memorably declared that his penis reeks of corn chips. Now, Lark is back at it, and some of her latest rants include information that she’s touched on before (She’s still insisting that she never made a sex tape with Green .), while others feature surprising new revelations. (Sadly, it seems Lark has lupus.) First the sex tape tirade. In response to a Radar Online interview in which Green claimed the video includes anal sex and a number of other kinky acts, Lark posted the following: ” Anal?! Absolutely not I am appalled! I know full heartedly & 100% sure that NO tape exists! If any supposed sexual penetration on tape was transcribed, then it was done so surreptitiously and without my psychological feature and I will sue anyone who even thinks about posting any supposed screenshot of such barbarity .” Hm…It looks like Lark devotes about as much effort to choosing her words and she does to choosing her husbands. We kid. The woman’s got a lot on her plate these days, and she’s obviously in a hurry to clear the air on social media. In addition to once again affirming that her homeless gang member ex-husband is a jackass, Lark made the following revelation about her health: ” I have been the blunt of many cruel jokes at my own expense and my appearance has made headlines for all the wrong reasons which have been anything that I can fully comprehend to the fullest myself. To whom it may concern, In 2007, I was diagnosed with Lupus…While many have maliciously made fun of my heavy make-up, I’ve been having whats called butterfly rashes. Make-up seems to minimize some spots of malar rashes that come & go but have left me highly insecure .” So there you have it. Hopefully cruel comments about Lark’s appearance will come to a stop. Of course, if she really wants to stay out of the tabloids, she should stop even acknowledging the existence of her loser ex.

Chris Brown and Karrueche Tran: Back Together?!

Following one of the ugliest breakups in recent memory, Chris Brown and Karrueche Tran appear to be back together. At least that’s the impression they gave while leaving LA hotspot Playhouse last night, keeping a safe distance from one another to throw the paparazzi off their scent.  Chris Brown, Karrueche Tran: Reunited Chris and Karrueche have broken up and gotten back together several times in the past, so maybe we shouldn’t be surprised, but this latest split was particularly bitter, and we really thought they were done for good. You may recall that Chris blasted Karrueche on stage during a performance earlier this month, screaming, “F–k that b-tch!” to a screaming crowd. Classy. Later Chris deleted Karrueche’s Instagram page (allegedly), and she opened up about the psychological “torture” that she endured during their relationship. Needless to say, it didn’t feel like the kind of lover’s quarrel that would be quickly forgotten, but apparently that’s just what happened. Chris has apologized to Karrueche and admitted to behaving in an overly emotional fashion (Ya think, Chris?!).  Amazingly, Karrueche seems to have not only accepted his apology, but offered him another chance, as well. We couldn’t understand it at first, as Chris seems like an arrogant douche with no regard for how his actions affect others. Then we remembered that he’s also very, very rich. Karrueche Tran: Chris Brown Plaything! 1. Karrueche Tran, Chris Brown Selfie Karrueche Tran and Chris Brown team up on the most disgusting selfie of all time.

Casey Anthony: Better Off in Jail?

Most people disagree with the jury’s verdict and think Casey Anthony should still be behind bars. For her own safety and stability, maybe she should be. The 25-year-old may be a free woman, but feels anything but, given the psychological trauma she’s already suffered and the challenges she faces now. “Her life is going to be very difficult for a very long time,” attorney Cheney Mason said Monday regarding his client, whose whereabouts are unknown. Her release from jail Sunday gives you an idea of what he means: Casey Anthony Heckled Outside Jail “As long as there are so many of the lynch-mob mentality, willing to deny that the jury found her not guilty, she’s going to have issues,” Mason added . And there are quite a few. Entire Facebook groups are dedicated to finding (” Where Is Casey Anthony “) and eviscerating “I Hate Casey Anthony”) her. But her lawyer says the hounding from the public, which has reacted with nothing short of vitriol since her July 5 acquittal, is only part of her troubles. Casey hasn’t gotten over the loss of Caylee, “and probably never will,” Mason said, to say noting of her being “locked up in a cage” for three years. While convicted of four counts of lying to officials, Casey had been in jail for nearly 1,000 days, or close to what would have been a full sentence. She was therefore set free, but not of the demons internally. “This is very psychologically expensive for a human being, and she will take a while to adjust,” Mason said, adding that “a lot of plans had to be made” to keep her whereabouts a secret amid constant death threats . “She’s gone,” was all he would say. “She’s safe.”

Research finds repressed memories don’t exist

The idea that traumatised people, especially the victims of child sexual abuse, deliberately repress horrific memories goes all the way back to the 19th century and the theories of Sigmund Freud himself. But now some experts are saying the evidence points the other way. Professor Grant Devilly, from Griffith University's Psychological Health research unit, says the memory usually works in the opposite way, with traumatised people reliving experiences they would rather forget. “It's the opposite. They wish they couldn't think about it,” he said. In a briefing to the US Supreme Court, Professor Richard McNally from Harvard University described the theory of repressed memory as “the most pernicious bit of folklore ever to infect psychology and psychiatry”. He maintains false memories can easily be created by inept therapists. added by: ozoneocean
