Mona Lisa: The History Of Superhead And Lil Wayne’s Complicated, Messy Romance

GETTY The History Of Wayne And Superhead Lil Wayne’s big hit from his new Carter V album is undoubtedly his “Mona Lisa” collaboration with Kendrick Lamar. The song, about women scammers who do Wayne’s bidding and the complicated relationships that ensue, is one of the best dramas of the year. Kendrick Lamar’s verse about a woman who can’t say no to rappers even as she is in the middle of her relationships, has people thinking back to some of Wayne’s past ladies: namely Karrine Steffans aka Superhead. The infamous video vixen, who penned books about her affairs with rappers, quickly became enamored with the rapper and he felt the same about her. What ensued was a decade of drama, love, sex, cheating and more drama. Take a look as BOSSIP takes you on a trip down memory lane of a relationship that people still can’t stop talking about.

Astro – Show Me What You Got Krajcik, of course, quickly became a fan favorite after viewers both heard his soulful voice and learned he had been working at a fast food Mexican restaurant. Rene, meanwhile, earned a large fan base due to his dancing and energy on stage, while Astro – real name: Brian Bradley – was the most controversial crooner on the show, a rapping savant with a cocky attitude that turned off many viewers. Packing paper with recycled trim. Credit: Patti Robinson When Patti Robinson, a summer camp instructor at The Art Farm in Bridgehampton, NY, sent over some photos of recycled fashion, I was intrigued — especially with the shape and design of the one, above — and even more so when she told me that the young campers who crafted these designs ranged between the ages of eight and twelve. This summer, Patti, a self-proclaimed Project Runway fan, struck up a recycled fashion challenge; it quickly became a camp favorite and evolved into a summer-long program, called “Gene… Read the full story on TreeHugger
