‘The Voice’ Singer Janice Freeman Dead At 33

Source: WENN.com / WENN This is so sad. Singer  Janice Freeman has passed away at the age of 33. Freeman, who competed on season 13 of NBC’s  The Voice  in 2017 was on  Miley Cyrus ‘ team and reached the top 11 on the singing competition. Freeman passed away due to combined complications of lupus and bronchial infection. Freeman is survived by her husband Dion, her 12-year-old daughter, her mother, brothers, sisters and countless others. Her cousin,  Johanna confirmed her death on Instagram . “On Saturday afternoon, Janice began complaining that she couldn’t breath properly and, in a matter of minutes, required CPR from her husband,” her rep said. “He called 911, continuing to do CPR until paramedics arrived. While Janice arrived at the hospital alive, continued efforts could not save her. Doctors believe a blood clot had formed in her lungs, which led to her quick demise. Janice Freeman died at 5:30 p.m. PST.” Janice Freeman beat cervical cancer and lived with both lupus and Sjogren’s syndrome. She also survived meningococcal meningitis as a teen as well as kidney failure. “She struggled every single day,” her husband said in a statement. “She was constantly in pain—literally, for years—but was sure she would conquer it all. Asiahn Puts Together Charity Showcase For LA Fires Victims Source: child / child   Approaching the holiday season and the premiere of the acoustic video for lead single “NOLA”  (No Love In LA), 3x Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter   Asiahn  has put together an engaging charity showcase to support the people displaced by the LA fires .  This performance will act as a means to give back to the community which the songstress calls home. The charity will take place in Los Angeles on December 12, ending the year spreading some cheer and topping the new year with the release of solo project “Love Train 2”!   Asiahn  formally came to life on her 2017 debut “ Love Train”  EP. Not only did it attract tastemaker acclaim, but it also generated a passionate response among fans everywhere. The EP has over 1.5 million streams and featured two stand out singles,  Love Train  and  FADED.   FADED  reached the top 20 on  Spotify’s Viral 50 charts . Prior to “ Love Train ,” she made a name for herself as an in-demand songwriter with placements for everyone from Jennifer Lopez  and  Pitbull  to  Drake  and  Lil Wayne . Additionally, she lent her vocals to  “Just Another Day , ” which graced  Dr. Dre ’s gold-selling final blockbuster album  Compton  and even featured in the #1 film  Straight Outta Compton .

Simone Biles: Headed to Pretty Little Liars!

Simone Biles conquered the world on Thursday night. We mean this almost literally, as the 19-year old gymnast earned the all-around Gold Medal in gymnastics with an overall total of 62.198 points. Now that she’s reached the top of her profession, what else is there for Biles to do? Catch a murderer, of course! Sort of. The incredible athlete had previously made it know that she loves to watch Pretty Little Liars online or on television; she’s a big fan of the Freeform series. Therefore, I. Marlene King responded to Biles’ victory this week with an open invitation to the young star. “Hey Simone, I heard you are a PLL fan… well, we are huge fans of yours and everybody there,” said King on Twitter. As you’ll see below, she then invited Biles to “come see us as soon as you get home, and brings your friends.” King is referring here to the “Final Five,” the nickname given to the Gold Medal-winning women’s gymnastics team. Here it is: Is Biles interested in visiting the Pretty Little Liars set? In maybe walking on for a cameo down the line? Hmmm… it’s hard to say. Can you decipher her response? HA! We kid. She’s clearly beyond excited for this opportunity. Interestingly, there’s a history of Gold Medal-winning gymnasts making appearances in dramas aimed at a younger demographic. Back in 2012, Gabby Douglas captured the all-around crown and was then invited to make a cameo on The Vampire Diaries . You can see her on the episode titled “My Brother’s Keeper,” playing a girl who helps Caroline during the Miss Mystic Falls Pageant. Here is Douglas on the set of that CW series with a pair of familiar and handsome faces: Biles will undoubtedly have a bajillion offers headed her way over the coming days, weeks and months. You’ll see her on talk shows. You’ll see her in commercials. You’ll see her in interviews. But we’re guessing you’ll also see her on Pretty Little Liars at some point. She’s very obviously an enormous fan. And this just makes us love Simone Biles that much more. Congratulations to her and to all the American winners!

Taylor Swift Nude Photos to be Released By Hackers?

Earlier today, Taylor Swift’s Twitter account was compromised by hackers claiming to be associated with Lizard Squad – the same group who famously hacked into the networks of major gaming systems over the holiday season. The hackers immediately began tweeting to Swift’s 70 million followers, encouraging them to follow various accounts associated with Lizard Squad. It seemed fairly harmless at first – as harmless as a forceful invasion of one’s privacy can be, anyway – but then the hackers began threatening to release nude photos of Taylor. Obviously, the incident brings to mind the widespread theft that occurred back in August when nude photos of Jennifer Lawrence and dozens of other female stars were released online.  Taylor took to her Tumblr page today to acknowledge the hacking and admit that she is, indeed, frightened: “Well, now I’m awake,” Taylor wrote. “My Twitter got hacked but don’t worry, Twitter is deleting the hacker tweets and locking my account until they can figure out how this happened and get me a new password. Never a dull moment.” She later updated that her Instagram has now been hacked too, adding, “This is going to be a long day #THIS IS WHY I’M, SCARED OF TECHNOLOGY #WHO’S PARANOID NOW?” Between the theft of nude photos from Kate Upton and so many others over the summer and the recent Sony hacking scandal , online security has been in the news more than ever lately, and it seems that Taylor is the latest victim of cyber-criminals who are more interested in proving a point than making money. It looks as though Taylor’s accounts have been secured, and the hacks are currently being investigated, but a scary moment for the singer and her fans, nonetheless. Paris Hilton Making A Musical Comeback?

Paris Hilton has revealed she met with songwriter Linda Perry, sparking rumors she is planning to relaunch her pop career. The 29-year-old wrote on her Twitter page that she had been working with Perry, 45, who was behind Christina Aguilera’s number one track “Beautiful” and Gwen Stefani’s “What You Waiting For.” “Went and visited Linda Perry at her studio. She is so cool and her studio is incredible! I respect her so much as a producer, what a talent!” Hilton released her first single, “Stars Are Blind,” in 2006 and it reached the top five in the UK as well as Ireland and Canada. She went on to release four more singles, which didn’t perform as well, and her first album – Paris – was released in 2006. She started work on a second album, which was never released. While visiting The Tyra Show, the reality star opened a page in her second young-adult novel and began to read. It was a watershed moment in literary history. “‘Jessie, give me your keys. You can’t drive right now. You’re too drunk,’ she said firmly,” Lauren Conrad read. Banks then took a terrified turn at reading herself. Lauren’s book just reached the top of the New York Times Best-Seller List again in the Children’s Chapter Books category after being on shelves less than a month. Not a bad post-Hills career.
