Courtland Rogers: Out of Jail, Hoping to Win Back Jenelle Evans?

Back in November of 2015, Jenelle Evans’ ex-husband,  Courtland Rogers, was arrested for possession of heroin . A month later Rogers was sentenced to three years behind bars. A habitual offender with a rap sheet a mile long, Rogers didn’t seem to be a candidate for early release, but it seems the parole board has taken mercy on the 31-year-old, possibly as a result of his long battle with addiction. Radar Online is reporting today that Rogers will be released from Tabor County Correctional Institution on March 18. “There is an advanced supervised release program,” a prison authority tells the site. “They have to meet a certain criteria and not get certain infractions and be in classes to have a reduced sentence.” Naturally, Rogers’ release has raised one looming question in the mind of Teen Mom 2 fans: Will Courtland try to get back in contact with Jenelle? The idea might seem ridiculous, as Jenelle is engaged to David Eason these days, but she and Courtland shared a deep connection at one point. It probably seems like a different life to Jenelle at this point (It was, after all, two baby daddies ago.), but it’s been less than three years since Evans and Rogers divorced. Of course, things move awfully fast in the Carolina Hurricane’s world. When Rogers went to prison, Jenelle was yet to get pregnant by Eason, and now the couple has a one-month old daughter together and are in the process of planning a wedding. If it were any other Teen Mom cast member, or for that matter, anyone else on reality television, we’d say these are all signs of stability pointing toward a future of quiet domesticity. Jenelle courts chaos, and nothing would throw her life into disarray like ditching her fiance for her deeply troubled ex. We’re not saying that’s what’s going to happen, mind you. We’re just saying when it comes to Jenelle, no possibility should be ruled out. The fact is, Jenelle and Courtland were both pretty terrible to each other, but they were also both in the grips of debilitating addictions. We hope for the sake of everyone involved that Jenelle doesn’t try to rekindle her romance with Rogers, but we also hope she’s open to the idea of getting back in touch with Rogers. Exchanging hugs and apologies could prove tremendously beneficial for both of them. And as a bonus, their reunion would make for a solid Teen Mom 2 special. The Vampire Diaries Finale: 11 Shockers!

Who lived? Who died? Who found peace? And what does peace in The Vampire Diaries universe even mean? Following an episode finale of this beloved CW drama, it's time to take a look back at the most surprising, sentimental and downright stunning moments… 1. Goodbye to… … Stefan. He sacrified himself to save Damon, and all of Mystic Falls, really, holding Katherine at bay while Hell fire engulfed the past lovers in flames and destroyed both Katherine and Hell forever. 2. Hello to… … Elena! It wasn’t a surprise, considering Nina Dobrev made it known weeks ago, but Elena returned after Bonnie figured out how to break her spell. We saw her reunite with Damon and even find peace with her family (including Aunt Jenna and Uncle John!) in the show’s version of heaven to close out the finale. 3. And Also Hello to… … a lot of people. But let’s start with Klaus, who penned a letter to Caroline that explained his donation to her and Alaric’s new school for gifted children that read “Dearest Caroline, I have often imagined the paths your life might take, but your chosen future is more noble than I ever fathomed. Please accept this contribution to your virtuous cause. I do look forward to thanking you in person someday… however long it takes. Yours, Klaus.” 4. Other Returns Included… Lexi, who was waiting for Stefan in his version of heaven. We already mentioned Uncle John and Aunt Jenna, but Grams made an appearance to help Bonnie save the town and even Alaric’s, Jo, was seen smiling at her former husband… from the beyond. And let’s not forget about Sheriff Forbes! 5. So, Where are They Now? The show jumped forward a bit at the end, giving us a glimpse at what various characters decided to do with their lives after helping to save the world and everything. 6. Matt is… … still a sheriff in Mystic Falls (with his own park bench!) and considering running for mayor. View Slideshow

The Vampire Diaries Season 8 Episode 9 Recap: Miss Mystic Falls 2.0

Anyone for some Miss Mystic Falls? On The Vampire Diaries Season 8 Episode 9 , the CW hit begun to embrace the end and threw back to one of the most iconic moments of the entire series.  However, this iteration of one of the town’s best events was more deadlier than before. That’s sort of what happens when you have both the Ripper and the Siren in attendance.  As the episode got underway, Damon and Stefan bonded over killing some dude in a bar, but Sybil just had to call Damon to ruin the fun. She wanted the brothers to make their back to Mystic Falls in order help her find the artifact.  Stefan was against returning, but Damon agreed without really thinking it through. This continued to prove to Stefan that there was something iffy about Damon’s humanity.  Meanwhile, Bonnie returned from her trip to Paris with Enzo and wasted no time in meeting up with Caroline. Caroline was floored by a mysterious vial around Bonnie’s neck. That vial was filled with Enzo’s blood and it made Caroline question whether Bonnie wanted to become a vampire in order to spend an eternity with Enzo.  Their conversation was interrupted by a phone call from Seline, who wanted them to meet her to hear her out. At the meeting, Seline claimed that it was imperative that they did not allow Sybil to get all of the pieces of the artifact, or there would be trouble in store.  Seline made it clear that her intention was to kill Sybil in order to try and do something good in her life, but Caroline struggled to believe her because of the way she acted when she was giving off serious Nanny Carrie vibes.  Caroline got on the phone to Matt to let him know about Seline, so he and Dorian continued to work together to locate where the other pieces of the artifact could be.  At the Miss Mystic Falls pageant, Caroline was shocked by the arrival of Stefan, Damon and Sybil and made it clear that she would not let them ruin the day.  Caroline noticed that Damon was still fighting Sybil off from his subconscious and used it to her advantage. She told him to keep her out of his mind, but Sybil appeared to continue her reign of terror to get him on her side.  View Slideshow: 15 Best Shows in CW History: Ranked! Stefan flipped and stabbed Damon and left him lying next to Sybil, who Damon had knocked out just before.  Caroline was chatting to the girls, but Stefan appeared and murdered one of them. He then told Caroline that he fed all of them his blood, so they would start the transition.  Caroline “murdered” Stefan, but he came back to life because of his deal with Cade and the pair bickered about how long Stefan would be the Ripper. Caroline was shocked to learn that he actually enjoyed it.  Stefan left, leaving Caroline to school the transitioning girl on what would become of her. The girl wanted to die, but Caroline spoke about everything she had accomplished since becoming a vampire and it helped the girl change her stance on all of it.  Enzo and Bonnie argued about Bonnie not becoming a vampire because of everything she witnessed her friends go through, but she said that Enzo could be cured and it was clear he was thinking it through.  We ended the episode with Sybil attacking Damon, seemingly turning his humanity back on.  Things are definitely getting deadlier in Mystic Falls but is there any way either of the Salvatores can be redeemed at this stage? Simone Biles: Headed to Pretty Little Liars!

Simone Biles conquered the world on Thursday night. We mean this almost literally, as the 19-year old gymnast earned the all-around Gold Medal in gymnastics with an overall total of 62.198 points. Now that she’s reached the top of her profession, what else is there for Biles to do? Catch a murderer, of course! Sort of. The incredible athlete had previously made it know that she loves to watch Pretty Little Liars online or on television; she’s a big fan of the Freeform series. Therefore, I. Marlene King responded to Biles’ victory this week with an open invitation to the young star. “Hey Simone, I heard you are a PLL fan… well, we are huge fans of yours and everybody there,” said King on Twitter. As you’ll see below, she then invited Biles to “come see us as soon as you get home, and brings your friends.” King is referring here to the “Final Five,” the nickname given to the Gold Medal-winning women’s gymnastics team. Hey @Simone_Biles ! @imarleneking wants you & the #FinalFive to come to PLL set when you get back – are you in? pic.twitter.com/zzMvR8mCkV — Pretty Little Liars (@PLLTVSeries) August 12, 2016 The executive producer also passed along her congratulations in a basic Tweet. Here it is: Is Biles interested in visiting the Pretty Little Liars set? In maybe walking on for a cameo down the line? Hmmm… it’s hard to say. Can you decipher her response? HA! We kid. She’s clearly beyond excited for this opportunity. Interestingly, there’s a history of Gold Medal-winning gymnasts making appearances in dramas aimed at a younger demographic. Back in 2012, Gabby Douglas captured the all-around crown and was then invited to make a cameo on The Vampire Diaries . You can see her on the episode titled “My Brother’s Keeper,” playing a girl who helps Caroline during the Miss Mystic Falls Pageant. Here is Douglas on the set of that CW series with a pair of familiar and handsome faces: Biles will undoubtedly have a bajillion offers headed her way over the coming days, weeks and months. You’ll see her on talk shows. You’ll see her in commercials. You’ll see her in interviews. But we’re guessing you’ll also see her on Pretty Little Liars at some point. She’s very obviously an enormous fan. And this just makes us love Simone Biles that much more. Congratulations to her and to all the American winners!

The Vampire Diaries Season 6 Episode 5 Recap: One Wrong Turn

When does some simple corn maze fun turn into an all-out disaster? As evidenced by events on The Vampire Diaries Season 6 Episode 5 … when Ivy gets loose in Mystic Falls, partially eats some guy to death, that guy stumbles in front of Tyler’s truck, and Tyler subsequently plows through the Homecoming party. OUCH! Times, like 79. The corn massacre left many developments in its wake. To wit: The dude Tyler hit was pretty much a goner. That meant Tyler’s werewolf curse would be triggered . But Liv stepped in and actually suffocated the guy to death, meaning she technically ended his life, doing Tyler a serious solid. He thanked her profusely and said he’d live up to the favor. Liam showed off his skills, saving many lives due to some serious medical skills, turning Elena on in the process and acting like a “hero” on her eyes. She kissed him as a result. Jo and Alaric also saved some lives , prompting the former to pour out her feelings to the latter after all was said and done and no one died. But Alaric isn’t in a place where he can date, so he compelled her to forget all she felt… … except she kissed him anyway, seemingly oblivious to the compulsion. Ivy, meanwhile, ended up getting apprehended by Tripp , with Caroline looking on. Uh-oh! Finally, in 1994: Bonnie realized that Kai needed her alive because the spell that locked him on May 10 was a Bennett spell. So only a Bennett witch could do it. Bonnie killed Kai when she realized they didn’t need him… … except he came back to life because of the curse/spell. He’s destined to relive May 10,1994 over and over and over again. As he fought with Bonnie and Damon, Bonnie tossed Damon the Ascendent and said some magic words and sent him back to present day Mystic Falls. (Killing herself in the process?) We ended the hour with Stefan and Damon reuniting via a tear-filled hug that left our living room very, very, very dusty. What did everyone else think of the episode? Are you glad Damon is back in Mystic Falls? Do you think we’ve seen the last of Bonnie? And what are your thoughts on Bonnie? The Vampire Diaries Season 6 Episode 2 Recap: When Are They?

Say this about the year 1994: it featured some winning music! I note this, of course, because The Vampire Diaries Season 6 Episode 2 answered the question this week of where Bonnie and Damon are located, only it turned the inquiry on its head a bit and instead revealed WHEN they are: The aforementioned year. 1994. Damon and Bonnie are repeating May 10, 1994 in an empty Mystic Falls for some reason, with Damon spending the day drinking and making pancakes and Bonnie trying to re-find her magic in order to get them back home to present day. Except, as we learned in the closing scene when Bonnie’s missing crossword puzzle got filled in by neither Bonnie nor Damon… they aren’t actually alone after all. Someone else is somehow there. Elsewhere on a strong installment of The Vampire Diaries Season 6 : Elena finally admitted to herself that she fell in love with Damon while she was with Stefan, enabling Alaric to successful access that memory, erase it and set off a domino chain of events within Elena’s head that made her forget she ever loved Damon. Jeremy and Matt learned that Sarah, the girl who Elena fed off last week, stole a car from her old boss and is in town… for some reason. But Jeremy is still taken and went to crash with her at the Salvatore mansion. Tripp told Matt that he was a descendent of the Founding Fell Family (meaning he’d be related to Meredith somehow) But Matt appeared to have some doubts. We later saw Tripp drive some vampires INTO Mystic Falls and unleash sunlight on them, killing them all. Caroline and Enzo found Stefan in Savannah. He broke Caroline’s heart by basically saying he had to move on by completely ignoring her and his past in Mystic Falls. And then Enzo broke Ivy’s neck to get back at Stefan for having given up on his Damon search. Overall, it was a solid episode that focused more on character development than heavy plot movement. But producers have said that’s the goal early in Season 6 because they acknowledge the mythology has grown too complicated and dense. What did everyone else think of this installment? Are you dreading the day that Damon returns, Elena doesn’t know who he is and then we go through a whole amnesia-type deal? Yeah, so are we.
