Sherri Shepherd’s Surrogate To Appear On “Inside Edition” Sherri Shepherd sounds super shady for this ! This Thursday, January 29th, the woman who served as Sherri Shepherd’s surrogate, Jessica Bartholomew will tell her story. And boy is it a doozy. Here’s the details: Inside Edition’s Diane McInerney exclusively talks with Jessica Bartholomew, the baby surrogate to former co-host of “The View,” Sherri Shepherd and Shepherd’s then-husband Lamar Sally. Bartholomew is speaking out for the first time about Shepherd’s decision not to be a part of Lamar Jr.’s life. Bartholomew carried and delivered Lamar Jr., but the baby was conceived from Sally’s sperm and another woman’s donated egg. Bartholomew tells Inside Edition that, even though she did sign a contract through her surrogate agency, her name was put on the birth certificate as a “noncustodial parent” because she says Shepherd refused to sign the document. McInerney: “Because your name is on the birth certificate, how has it affected you?” Bartholomew: “It’s affected me a lot. I am now listed as a noncustodial parent in California. I have a child support case coming against me now.” Because Lamar Jr. has health problems, Sally applied for Medi-Cal, a California state program that provides free or low-cost health coverage for families with limited income and resources. Now, Bartholomew says that the state of California is going after her for child support because she is the mother listed on the birth certificate. Bartholomew: “Because [Shepherd] doesn’t want to be a part of the baby’s life, I have to pick up all the slack with my name being on the birth certificate, a noncustodial parent, medical bills. I’m still considered the mother of a child that’s not mine.” That’s some BS. We’re pretty sure whatever Jessica was paid to carry Lamar Jr, it’s not enough to also continue paying the costs of caring for him! Furthermore, Bartholomew says Sherri simply stopped communicating with her when she made the decision to not be in her son’s life. Sherri’s ex is the one who told her that he and Shepherd were getting divorced. It wasn’t until later that she learned that Sherri was backing out of the surrogacy. Bartholomew: “I am angry with Sherri because she never once contacted me to tell me what was happening. It was kind of like I was left out in the cold.” Bartholomew says that early in the pregnancy Shepherd seemed excited. Bartholomew: “She would call up and check on me during the pregnancy in the beginning. At the 20 week appointment, she seemed very excited. She was going to see the baby for the first time…I didn’t see any warning signs right away.” Jessica does have some words for what she would say if she could speak to Shepherd. Bartholomew: “I would ask Sherri why she did what she did – if she thought it was okay to do something like that…I just don’t understand how she can act like this baby is nonexistent. It just blows my mind.” Inside Edition also speaks with Lamar Sally, who says “[Jessica] must be going through hell. I really feel sorry for her. I just want to apologize for putting her in the middle.” Wow Sherri is looking crazy right now. What a terrible way to treat a child who didn’t ask to be brought into the world. Goes to show divorce is a muhfugga! Check your local listings to find out what time and channel “Inside Edition” airs Thursday January 29.
With nude photos of Jennifer Lawrence and other A-list stars making their way across the Internet, many celebs are concerned that their fans will soon be seeing more of them than they ever intended to reveal. Sherri Shepherd is said to be particularly concerned that her racy selfies may soon go public, but it’s not the infamous iCloud hacker she’s worried about – it’s her disgruntled ex, Lamar Sally. Sherri and Lamar split earlier this year amidst allegations that he cheated on her. They were soon embroiled in a bizarre custody battle involving a surrogate and plenty of changing stories from both parties. By the end, Shepherd wanted no part in raising the child , and claimed that Lamar had convinced her to have a baby in order to exploit her financially. Now it seems, Sally may have found a different way to squeeze money from Shepherd: Radar Online reports that Lamar is in possession of dozens of nude photos of his famous ex, and he’s already turned down a $100,000 offer to return them to Sherri. A source says Shepherd “deeply regrets sending the photos to Lamar” and did so only because they lived in different cities for much of their relationship. Insiders say Sally is threatening to release the photos if Shepherd doesn’t agree to a divorce settlement that would have her making $10,000 in child support payments for a son that’s not biologically hers. The View is getting a major makeover. ABC confirmed on Thursday that neither Sherri Shepherd nor Jenny McCarthy will return to the afternoon talk show this fall, with the former saying via statement: “It’s been seven wonderful years on The View and after careful consideration it is time for me to move on. I am extremely grateful to Barbara Walters and Bill Gedde for giving me the opportunity. “I look forward to the business opportunities that lay ahead for me and I am incredibly grateful to my View family and my fans for supporting me on this journey.” Shepherd’s exit comes as a bit of a surprise, but talk of McCarthy leaving has been circulating for weeks now. The controversial blonde Tweeted soon after the news broke that “my View will be changing too. As will with many hard working folks,” and later added of her soon-to-be-former colleague: “If Sherri goes… I go too. #sisters.” Based on the above selfie with Donnie Wahlberg, Shepherd and McCarthy don’t seem too broken up about their ousting, do they? “The View will be moving in an exciting new direction next season and ABC has made decisions to evolve the show creatively,” ABC said its own statement, as only Whoopi Goldberg is currently signed for next season. Look for new episodes to air this September and try to decide: Who do you want to see on the new panel?

This break up is about to get uglier than Naomi Campbell’s headline Sherri Shepherd’s Husband Wants Custody Of Unborn Surrogate Child Yesterday, we reported that Sherri Shepherd and her husband Lamar Sally. Today, new details emerge that will further complicate the already contentious separation. Via RadarOnline Not only did Sherri Shepherd‘s husband file for a separation earlier this month, but Lamar Sally‘s filing revealed an explosive secret that the two are expecting a son via a surrogate and he wants full custody! Filed on May 2 in Los Angeles, Sally filed after nearly three years of marriage to The View co-host citing irreconcilable differences — but the real bombshell was listed under the declaration of minor children in which the TV writer listed an unborn son. Listed as Lamar Sally Jr., a due date of July 28, 2014 is listed for the unborn child. A source previously told Radar of the couple’s nasty split that while Shepherd, 47, was desperate for another child, she didn’t believe Sally, 43, would step up as a father figure. “Sherri has a full time nanny, who drives Jeffrey to school every day and picks him up in the afternoon. This has been going on for years, and Lamar doesn’t even offer to help. It is unfortunate. “Sherri started to wonder if he’d ever be able to step up once they had another child, or if she’d be practically raising the child alone,” the source said. But Sally obviously feels differently, as he’s asked for full legal and physical custody of their unborn son, with visitations granted to Shepherd. On top of custody, Sally is also requesting spousal support from Shepherd and asking that the Beauty Shop actress pay his legal fees. So Lamar HASN’T been taking care of Jeffrey all this time??? We have a feeling that this is going to be a HUGE point of contention when it comes to deciding who will get custody of the new baby. Image via WENN
Sherri Shepherd has something in common with Juan Pablo Galavis and Phil Robertson : All three have gotten into trouble for various anti-gay remarks. In Shepherd’s case, controversy broke out this week following an interview with Fusion host Alicia Menendez. Asked about the biggest misconception people have about her, Shepherd said some feel she’s overly “judgmental” and “homophobic” going on to explain why… and coming across to many as, well, homophobic. “You grow up being a Christian and you grow up believing homosexuality is a sin; you’re going to hell if you’re a homosexual,” the comedian said of her views. “This is something that they teach in churches. So it’s something that I grew up believing. Shepherd went on to say she “might not agree” with the gay lifestyle, but she isn’t going to argue with it, either. But she’s “trying to make it to heaven by the skin of my teeth” and she asks folks to respect how she feels about homosexuality in her attempt to make it there. As you might expect, some took exception to the idea that Shepherd could claim gay people are sinners while still making it sound like she’s not against them, a confusing line to walk that she tried to explain yesterday on The View. “I’m truly sorry to anyone I’ve offended,” Shepherd began. “My interview was misrepresented, and only a portion of my comments were used as a headline to give the impression that I was condemning members of the LGBT community living in their own truth. She went on: “In the interview, I express I was raised as a child to have a certain set of beliefs, but my beliefs have evolved significantly as my own personal relationship with Christ has increased. “I believe that love is the grace of all things and I have no desire to judge anybody by who they are. I’m a person of compassion and anyone who knows me knows that I love, I accept, I embrace everybody who has love in their hearts. So I love you.” Sounds heartfelt to us. Are you buying it? Will this opinion affect the show’s ratings? Those of Duck Dynasty dropped in the wake of Robertson’s contentious views, while The Bachelor has remained steady after Juan Pablo said it would set a bad example of ABC ever aired a gay season of the hit show.
