Sherri Shepherd’s Surrogate Trashes The Comedian For Abandoning Her Baby Jessica Bartholomew, the surrogate mother that carried Sherri Shepherd and Lamar Sally’s much embattled young son, Lamar Jr. is speaking out against Sherri and the financial and emotional turmoil she says she faced when the comedian decided she wanted nothing to do with her ex-husband Lamar or their unborn child. Jessica, who revealed to Daily Mail that she had gone through with surrogacy for another couple before said the drama surrounding carrying this child and the financial hit rather than gain she took from trying to do a good deed has turned her off from completing a surrogacy ever again. “I will never help another mother have a baby. Sherri put me and my family through so much emotionally and almost ruined me financially so I will never trust anyone to go through that again. I wanted to help her because she couldn’t have a child of her own and it was supposed to be a beautiful thing. But it turned out to be a nightmare.” Jessica says she entered the agreement thinking that the couple wanted a child, but was unable. But with Sherri recently revealing that she only initially agreed to creating the baby to save her failing marriage, she says she never would have signed up. “If I had known this was Sherri’s attempt to save her marriage, there is no way I would have agreed to this surrogacy. Since when has a baby saved a marriage? Never. We talked for quite a while and by the time we finished we had agreed to go into this contract. Sherri said she really wanted to have a child with Lamar because it would make their family complete. They already had Jeffrey [who is 10] her son from a previous marriage and Lamar loved him unconditionally, but Lamar did not have any children and she wanted him to have that experience. They were hoping for another boy. We used Lamar’s sperm and an anonymous egg donor. I received $25,000 to be the surrogate. But ironically, because of a medically induced medical condition I was out of work from May until October so I really didn’t make any money on this arrangement, I actually went into a hole.” But the hole only dug deeper once the baby arrived. With Sherri refusing to have anything to do with Lamar Jr. once he was born, the state sought money from the only mother they had on record for the child — Jessica. “Lamar needed to get healthcare for the baby so he went through government assistance and they automatically go after the other parent to collect support and since I was the birth mother and Sherri was denying any responsibility they came after me. That was so hard on me because I have two other children, I’m a waitress and going to school to finish my nursing degree. I could not afford to take care of Sherri’s baby too, but if I didn’t they were going to garnish my wages.” Jessica says she can’t believe that Sherri allowed all of this to happen to her when she stepped in to help Sherri with what she thought was a need in her life. She also says that Sherri is so bitter against Lamar that she is seeking to stop him from having any more children with the donor eggs they selected. “And there is another embryo if Lamar ever wants to give LJ a little brother but even though Sherri would not be responsible for that child she is fighting tooth and nail to get that embryo destroyed.” What a mess. It isn’t really fair that she had to come up off all that cash and she definitely has a right to be pissed about it…but honestly at this point nothing else that goes on with that family is any of her business anymore, right??

At best, Sherri Shepherd’s child custody and support case has been complicated. Sherri and her ex-husband, Lamar Sally, have been battling over custody and financial responsibility for their baby born via surrogate last year. What makes this case unique though is that once Lamar and Sherri split, Sherri went back-and-forth over whether or not she wanted anything to do with their surrogate baby. Eventually, she decided she did not want any responsibility for the child. But, in April, a judge declared Sherri Shepherd the legal mother of the baby. Now, the former View co-host has to live up to that obligation by paying $4,100 per month in child support. The baby is currently 10 months-old. Sherri will have to pay $4,1000 a month until Lamar Jr. is 13-years-old. When the child turns 13, the payment will increase to $4,6000 a month. The case definitely didn’t pan out the way Shepherd had wished. But she is still able to move forward with a fraud claim against her estranged husband. She claims the request for child support is fraudulent. If the courts agree, she will no longer be required to pay support. Shepherd is also asking that the remaining embryos she shared with Lamar be destroyed. Lamar is “undecided” about whether or not to keep the embryos. However, the agreement stands that if any of the remaining embryos are brought to term, Shepherd has no financial responsibility.

Gun Range Owner Bans Muslims And Sees Steep Increase In Business We posted a story about this woman and her gun range last October and now she’s gettin’ gwap hand-over-fist! Via Breitbart In the five months since Hot Springs, Arkansas, gun range owner Jan Morgan banned Muslims from her facilities, she has seen business quadruple. She has also faced threats and the prospect of lawsuits, which so far, have not materialized. Morgan owns Gun Cave Indoor Firing Range. According to Fox News, Morgan decided to ban Muslims after “two customers she deemed suspicious” showed up in September. Since that time, she has excluded those “she believes to be Muslim based upon their names.” Morgan sees it as a safety issue. She said, “We are dealing in lethal firearms. I am not going to let a Nazi shoot in here, or a Ku Klux Klan member in here, either.” The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) has written Attorney General Eric Holder asking him to intervene. In the letter, CAIR said, “Given the recent spike in anti-Muslim rhetoric, including Islamophobic statements by government officials, community leaders and media outlets, death threats, and other bias incidents targeting Muslims, I urge you to investigate this matter soon.” CAIR argued that banning Muslims from the shooting range “is a violation of federal laws prohibiting racial and religious discrimination.” The ACLU is also asked the DOJ to do something about Morgan’s policies, and they want to talk to any Muslim who gets turned away from Morgan’s shooting range. But Morgan is standing her ground. Sherri Shepherd’s Surrogate To Appear On “Inside Edition” Sherri Shepherd sounds super shady for this ! This Thursday, January 29th, the woman who served as Sherri Shepherd’s surrogate, Jessica Bartholomew will tell her story. And boy is it a doozy. Here’s the details: Inside Edition’s Diane McInerney exclusively talks with Jessica Bartholomew, the baby surrogate to former co-host of “The View,” Sherri Shepherd and Shepherd’s then-husband Lamar Sally. Bartholomew is speaking out for the first time about Shepherd’s decision not to be a part of Lamar Jr.’s life. Bartholomew carried and delivered Lamar Jr., but the baby was conceived from Sally’s sperm and another woman’s donated egg. Bartholomew tells Inside Edition that, even though she did sign a contract through her surrogate agency, her name was put on the birth certificate as a “noncustodial parent” because she says Shepherd refused to sign the document. McInerney: “Because your name is on the birth certificate, how has it affected you?” Bartholomew: “It’s affected me a lot. I am now listed as a noncustodial parent in California. I have a child support case coming against me now.” Because Lamar Jr. has health problems, Sally applied for Medi-Cal, a California state program that provides free or low-cost health coverage for families with limited income and resources. Now, Bartholomew says that the state of California is going after her for child support because she is the mother listed on the birth certificate. Bartholomew: “Because [Shepherd] doesn’t want to be a part of the baby’s life, I have to pick up all the slack with my name being on the birth certificate, a noncustodial parent, medical bills. I’m still considered the mother of a child that’s not mine.” That’s some BS. We’re pretty sure whatever Jessica was paid to carry Lamar Jr, it’s not enough to also continue paying the costs of caring for him! Furthermore, Bartholomew says Sherri simply stopped communicating with her when she made the decision to not be in her son’s life. Sherri’s ex is the one who told her that he and Shepherd were getting divorced. It wasn’t until later that she learned that Sherri was backing out of the surrogacy. Bartholomew: “I am angry with Sherri because she never once contacted me to tell me what was happening. It was kind of like I was left out in the cold.” Bartholomew says that early in the pregnancy Shepherd seemed excited. Bartholomew: “She would call up and check on me during the pregnancy in the beginning. At the 20 week appointment, she seemed very excited. She was going to see the baby for the first time…I didn’t see any warning signs right away.” Jessica does have some words for what she would say if she could speak to Shepherd. Bartholomew: “I would ask Sherri why she did what she did – if she thought it was okay to do something like that…I just don’t understand how she can act like this baby is nonexistent. It just blows my mind.” Inside Edition also speaks with Lamar Sally, who says “[Jessica] must be going through hell. I really feel sorry for her. I just want to apologize for putting her in the middle.” Wow Sherri is looking crazy right now. What a terrible way to treat a child who didn’t ask to be brought into the world.
