New Kids On The Block Mourn Former Collaborator Tommy Page Sad news, especially for folks who grew up in the 90’s. Former pop star Tommy Page, whose song “I’ll be Your Everything” made it to #1 on the charts in 1990, has passed away, according to Page Six reports . Page’s body was discovered in New York Friday. He was only 46-years-old. Page’s post-pop star career included work as an executive at Warner Bros. Records where he worked with artists including Michael Buble, Alanis Morissette, Josh Groban and Green Day. He also became an associate publisher at Billboard magazine in 2011 and was promoted to publisher a year later. “We are all mourning the loss of our friend and colleague, Tommy Page,” Billboard Entertainment Group President John Amato said. “He was a magnetic soul and a true entertainer.” He was a senior vice president at Cumulus Media Inc. when he died, but previously led artist partnerships, branded content and events at Internet radio company Pandora. The View is getting a major makeover. ABC confirmed on Thursday that neither Sherri Shepherd nor Jenny McCarthy will return to the afternoon talk show this fall, with the former saying via statement: “It’s been seven wonderful years on The View and after careful consideration it is time for me to move on. I am extremely grateful to Barbara Walters and Bill Gedde for giving me the opportunity. “I look forward to the business opportunities that lay ahead for me and I am incredibly grateful to my View family and my fans for supporting me on this journey.” Shepherd’s exit comes as a bit of a surprise, but talk of McCarthy leaving has been circulating for weeks now. The controversial blonde Tweeted soon after the news broke that “my View will be changing too. The sometimes controversial 41-year-old View co-host her massive yellow sapphire bling on the morning talk show. Check it out from a couple of angles: Daniel Arik, the owner of Newport Jewelers, tells E! that he was commissioned to craft the ring specifically for Jenny McCarthy and Donnie Wahlberg : “Donnie was referred to us by a good friend. He came in just before St. Patrick’s Day. He had an idea of what he wanted and was part of the design process.” “When he first came in, we showed him a few rings and he chose bits and pieces from each ring that he liked, we then combined what he liked and created a custom ring.” The color was a given because, well, “Jenny wanted yellow.” As for the finished product? “The ring is over 10 carats .” “The band is 18-karat white gold although you can’t see the band because it’s covered with diamonds. Added the veteran media personality, 86, who next summer plans to retire from appearing on the show: “She can be serious and outrageous. She has connected with our audience and offers a fresh point of view.
