Dancing with the Stars Results: Who Was Sent Packing?

Dancing with the Stars served up another big elimination during Latin Night, an episode filled with routines that were just too hot to handle.  With Barbara Corcoran and Keo Motsepe already eliminated, which other couple lost their place in the competition during week two?  And was it one of those shocking eliminations that nobody saw coming, or was this just a matter of time for an overmatched tandem? Let’s break down the steamy performances and and find out … Nikki Bella and Artem Chigvintsev – Samba – “Despacito” by Luis Fonsi feat. Daddy Yankee Nikki improved a lot on Monday’s episode of the series, but then she went and squandered that momentum when she kept cackling whenever she tried to practice for the sexy routine.  We’ve all had a case of the giggles, but did she not know how high the stakes were for this competition? The performance was a little too slow, and it showed that Nikki is not that great of a dancer.  Score: 18/30 Victoria Arlen and Val Chmerkovskiy – Rumba – “Easy” by Sky Ferreira Victoria was nervous when she tried to prepare for this routine with Val. The performance was okay, but Len said that it was not all that and he wanted to see some more from them. We have to agree.  At least Victoria can take solace in the fact that Taylor Swift sent her a gift for her birthday.  Score: 20/30 Derek Fisher and Sharna Burgess – Paso Doblé – “Diablo Rojo” by Rodrigo y Gabriela Sharna is the Queen of raunchy routines, so it was evident this was one she and Derek should be able to get some traction with. Derek was upset about them landing in the bottom two.  Everyone was glad that Derek was taking the feedback on board, but it never really reflected in his score.  Score: 19/30 Sasha Pieterse and Gleb Savchenko – Samba – “Most Girls” by Hailee Steinfeld Sasha opened up about some trolls who came out of the woodwork when she gained weight due to PCOS. It helped her channel all of her heartbreak from the ordeal into her performance.  Who would have thought that Sasha would be one of the best performers of the night after her premiere week dud? Score: 22/30 Nick Lachey and Peta Murgatroyd Argentine – Tango – “She’s a Lady” by Lion Babe Nick has not been performing as well as we expected him to do on the show so far, but tonight he proved that he could improve if given the time.  The judges were not entirely impressed, with Carrie Ann glad about the progression, but Len continued to play the villain role by essentially calling it trash.  Score: 19/30 Jordan Fisher and Lindsay Arnold – Samba – “Mi Gente” by J. Balvin and Willy William Going into the competition, it was clear that Jordan knew a lot about the world of dance. From stints on Grease live to Disney spectaculars, he had a huge advantage.  The performance was flawless. They looked confident together and were genuinely believable as a couple.  Score: 24/30 Drew Scott and Emma Slater – Rumba – “Lights Down Low” by Max feat. gnash Who does not like to have a tan? That was Emma’s question to Drew before the routine, so she decided to spray him down, and it worked. He looked soooo much better.  It gave Drew more confidence, and the judges even agreed that there was some improvement, so it was a win-win! Score: 21/30 Debbie Gibson and Alan Bersten Argentine – Tango – “Havana” by Camila Cabello feat. Young Thug Debbie Gibson has been essentially at the bottom of the pack with Barbara since last week, but she proved she has what it takes to be taken seriously.  Her performance with Alan was her best yet, but the judges felt Debbie was not making the best use of her body.  Score: 21/30 Vanessa Lachey and Maksim Chmerkovskiy – Salsa – “Instruction” by Jax Jones feat. Demi Lovato and Stefflon Don Vanessa is one of the best competitors this season. Her dancing has always been a cut above Nick’s, so it’s a given that she will, make it further than him.  Even Len was impressed, and that’s not something that happens every day, you guys! Score: 23/30 Terrell Owens and Cheryl Burke – Samba – “Hot in Herre” by Nelly   Terrelll initially appeared as the novelty act of the season, but somewhere along the way, he improved and his now middle of the pack. That’s a great change from one week ago.  The judges were all very positive about his improvement.  Score: 19/30 Lindsey Stirling and Mark Ballas – Salsa – “Mani Picao” by Ricky Campanelli Lindsey continued to go from strength to strength in her attempt to own the floor, and Mark was clearly loving the whole thing. They were electric, and the pair are probably going to make it far.  Score: 24/30 Frankie Muniz and Witney Carson Cha-Cha, “Perm” by Bruno Mars If you told us a few weeks back that Frankie Muniz would be a frontrunner on Dancing with the Stars, we would have laughed in your face.  He knew what he needed to do to get the judges talking and they LOVED it. He is a great entertainer.  Score: 25/30 After the performances, it was time to send another contestant packing. Nick and Peta and Debbie and Alan were in the bottom two couples.  In a true shocker, Debbie and Alan were let go from the competition. Say it ain’t so! What did you think of the elimination? Dancing With the Stars Results: 2 Fast 2 Furious (Eliminations)

After a stirring night of performances, Dancing With the Stars’ results sent TWO couples home last night on Hollywood Night on ABC.  Coming off of last week’s Dancing With the Stars results , nothing could compare in terms of shock value … but did the right duos go? Let’s break down the routines in ascending order: Bonner Bolton and Sharna Burgess (Western/Paso Doble): The first routine of the night was not its best. In fact, it was its least great. For a guy who turned a lot of heads early on (and not just for groping Sharna ), he’s yet to recapture the magic of a bona fide contender. Score: 29/40 David Ross and Lindsay Arnold (Sci-Fi/Salsa): The MLBer looked just a little out of step with his partner at times during their salsa. Like Bonner, Ross shows flashes of brilliance, but probably not nearly enough to hoist up the Mirror Ball trophy in a few weeks’ time. Score: 32/40 Nick Viall and Peta Murgatroyd (Action/Argentine Tango): Give Nick credit, because as shameless as he is, dude’s got some talent! Week in and week out he legitimately tries to improve, and darn if he hasn’t turned in some of the better routines of the week lately. Score: 34/40 Nancy Kerrigan and Artem Chigvintsev (Romantic Comedy/Tango): Not the most exciting routine, and performing early, that matters. It’s easy to get lost among later performances with the “wow” factor, though Kerrigan’s grace, charisma and technical abilities reign. Score: 36/40  Simone Biles and Sasha Farber (Silent Film/Charleston): Sasha did a great job integrating gymnastics into this one, and she #NailedIt. Score: 37/40  Rashad Jennings and Emma Slater (Horror/Paso Doble): The NFL star not only got into character, but excelled technically too. Score: 37/40 Normani Kordei and pro Val Chmerkovskiy (Foreign Films/Argentine Tango): After Heather Morris’ elimination , would she be next?! After all, the Fifth Harmony singer is the best remaining in the eyes of many observers, so the way things are going, she’s in danger! Fortunately, the highest score earned immunity this time – no doubt a response to last week’s debacle – and she got it with a perfect one. Not that Heather is too happy about this rule change a week too late, but probably a keeper if we’re doing this one-night-a-week format. Score: 40/40 The six couples without immunity then entered into a dance-off which, as we saw in the elimination of Heather, may not matter at all. In any case, Simone topped Nancy, Rashad beat David, and Bonner ousted Nick as fans and the judges picked a winner in real time. And now, the Dancing With the Stars results … Normani Kordei, who was immune, Simone Biles, Rashad Jennings, Bonner Bolton and David Ross made it through to the next round. That means Nancy Kerrigan and Nick Viall have danced for the last time on ABC. At least until Nick finds his way back onto next season. What do you think? Did America (and the judges) get things right this week, or should Nancy have advanced to the semifinals? Discuss! View Slideshow: Dancing with the Stars: 9 Most Shocking Eliminations

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Recap: Don’t Touch the Hair

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills got a little “Irked at Cirque” when they were told to have fun. We recap Kim’s orders, Brandi’s new love interest and Lisa’s hair in our THG +/- review But first…here’s a gratuitous puppy picture. Plus 25. Who can resist an adorable Golden Retriever puppy? Although Lisa’s nickname of Rumpy Pumpy…that’s questionable. New girl Carlton gets to know Brandi Glanville a little better at an adult toy store. Plus 18 because one more spa day for these ladies would have bored me to tears. While Brandi’s looking at heart-shaped handcuffs and lacy thongs, Carlton’s checking out Brandi. She loves Brandi…or is it she’d like to love Brandi?  Plus 21. That’s a storyline we haven’t seen before on this show.  But when Brandi says she really wants a man, Carlton gives her some advice. Visualize exactly what you want. Write it down and bury it with a crystal.  What the heck? Brandi’s game and I kind of hope she goes for it. Could be fun.  Because that’s where the fun ends…thanks to Kim’s outing.  Kim invites the ladies to a circus day but there are rules.  Minus 15. Kim starts with a lecture about how everyone needs to leave their emotional baggage at the door. It’s mostly because she knows Brandi has an issue with Kyle but she’s rambling on and on until Yolanda finally cuts her off.   Kim calls Yolanda out for being rude…and manages to kill her own fun day. Minus 22. Even Carlton was rolling her eyes. She didn’t show up for a lecture.  And Carlton will freak out if she sees a clown Plus 33. Me too. Kyle calls them the mean girls which is kind of funny being that she’s the original mean girl.  Despite the drama, they all get on the trapeze and the fabric ropes. Of course Brandi is a pro. As Lisa points out, “Brandi’s probably got a swing in her bedroom. Trust me.”  Plus 19 . It wouldn’t surprise me at all.  Finally Brandi confronts Kyle. The paparazzi accosted her in front of her kids and told her Kyle called her a bully. Kyle swears she never said it but it just won’t die.  Later at lunch, the gossip continues.  Lisa and Brandi feel Kyle should tweet that the story is false. Minus 15. I’m with Kyle on this one. Why should she have to say anything about the lies the paparazzi tell.  Then they start beating up on Yolanda…who isn’t there. Plus 40 to Carlton for sticking up for Yolanda and saying she didn’t feel she was being rude and an extra plus 10 to Brandi who points out that maybe they should talk about Yolanda when she’s there to defend herself.  Then somehow Joyce jumps in…and it’s just weird. Joyce pulls Lisa aside and tells her that she’s upset because back when they first met, Lisa snapped at her when she tried to fix her hair. I couldn’t stop laughing. Lisa’s reaction is priceless. She really doesn’t care but Joyce won’t let it go. Minus 24.  Perhaps Joyce shouldn’t be touching people’s hair when she’s just met them. Upset that instead of a heartfelt apology, all that Lisa offers is a “whatever” in a British accent, Joyce stalks off to cry to the girls.  She’s instantly told she’s being overly dramatic and she defends herself by saying that sometimes people can be bitchy. She’s a total bitch when she’s on her period.  Plus 22 to Brandi for shooting back, are you on your period now? Nothing’s more fun than the cattiness of   The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Episode Total = +112!                                            Season total = +227

Dancing With the Stars Results: Fab Four Hit the Floor, One Shown the Door

For the remaining Dancing With the Stars competitors, it’s come down to this. One final week of ballroom madness and four celebs still in the hunt for the title. After 10 weeks of pain, progress, paso dobles and stunning Dancing with the Stars results, it’s Corbin Bleu, Jack Osbourne, Bill Engvall and Amber Riley. Those four had one last chance to wow the judges on Monday with three routines: one judges’ pick, one samba relay and the always-popular freestyle. One star was eliminated at the end of the show, while three remaining couples will perform a fusion dance before a winner is crowned on Tuesday night. So who’s in and who’s out? Amber Riley, after two 30s, was announced as moving to the finale. No surprise there. Ditto Corbin Bleu. So it came down to Jack and Bill Monday night. At the end of the episode, Engvall and partner Emma Slater ended up with the lowest score. But did the fans save them as they have in weeks past? Not this time. Engvall and Slater are headed home. “It just goes to prove to me there is God because I don’t think I could make one more dance,” Engvall told the crowd just after learning his fate. “[Emma] is like my second daughter now. We just had a blast … It’d be totally remiss if I didn’t thank [my wife] Gail. This has been a lifetime experience.” “I will never forget this. To all the fans … thank you.” Scores for the Dancing With the Stars finale: Amber Riley: 64 (30, 4, 30) Corbin Bleu: 62 (27, 5, 30) Jack Osbourne: 57 (24, 3, 30) Bill Engvall: 51 (24, 2, 25) Dancing With the Stars Results: Bill Engvall Out Did Bill deserve to go home on DWTS?   Yes, but it was a good run! Bristol Palin Receives Death Threats, Calls Out "Ghetto" Carrie Ann Inaba

Dancing With the Stars: All-Stars contestant Bristol Palin is never one to shy away from controversy, but the people threatening her life may want to chill out. Yes, Bristol says she’s receiving regular death threats this fall. “People have such opinions about me. It’s like ‘I hate you, I want you dead and I want to shoot my TV,’” she explains of her public perception. “I don’t read any of it.” When you ruffle feathers on your own show, though, you may not have a choice. Bristol tries not to pay attention to negative comments from “haters” … but she faced some harsh comments from the judges on Dancing With the Stars this week. Calling out Bristol’s partner Mark Ballas for breaking the show’s rules with his choreography, Carrie Ann said, “You slammed us in the face, so we’re slamming back.” “She got pretty ghetto there,” Bristol says of Carrie Ann. “That’s pretty much what it was: a ghetto comment. But despite the haters and the harassment, Bristol has made it through to another round of competition, surviving last night’s Dancing With the Stars results show. How does she respond to making it through despite her low scores? “We do see the positive side of it,” Bristol Palin said of advancing. “We did get voted through even though we had the lowest scores. That speaks volumes compared to anyone hiding behind a cell phone tweeting about us.” How far will Bristol Palin make it this season? Are you rooting for her? Do you wish she’d just go back to Alaska and never be heard from again? Discuss!
