Spencer Pratt: I F–kin’ Hate Everyone on The Hills!

Spencer Pratt isn’t just spilling the tea when it comes to the revival of the show that made him famous. He’s taking his cup, extending his penny and frickin dumping said tea all over each and every one of his MTV co-stars. Oh, and he’s also trashing MTV itself as well. The 35-year-old reality star appeared on the LadyGang podcast on Tuesday – hosted by Keltie Knight, Becca Tobin and Jac Vanek — and laid into basically everyone associated with The Hills: New Beginnings. In the revealing interview, Pratt alleges that the network isn’t depicting the real drama of the cast — which includes his wife, Heidi, his sister, Stephanie, as well as Brody Jenner, Audrina Patridge, Justin Bobby, Whitney Port, Mischa Barton and Brandon Lee — because they want to make the cast likable. “I’ll be honest and I’m going to get in trouble for this but … they’re toning it down because they want people to be likable, which I don’t want to watch anything likable,” Spencer said with a laugh, adding: “I personally think the network is protecting a lot of the cast.” With this new Hills version struggling to earn ratings or any consistent attention, Pratt has been trying as hard as possible to stir up some controversy. It’s what he does best, after all. It’s sort of all he does. “No spoiler alerts, but I hate all these people, like, I dislike them,” Spencer continued. “I love Brandon [Lee] … but Brandon’s not allowed to talk to me anymore, per Brody.” The latest installment of this remake featured Pratt having it out with Jenner , with each reality star accusing the other of NOT being the one to keep in touch over the years. Pratt says there’s far more to this seemingly lame story, though. “Well I’m LC, I took over for LC,” Spencer now says, referring to former costar Lauren Conrad of course and adding: “I’m like, ‘You’re not my friend anymore because of your new relationship, wah wah wah.’ There’s a lot more to the story and the angle that is logical for the television show… “We haven’t been speaking since 2007. “All the things that I really am saying, why we have a real problem, break the fourth wall.” As for where this new Hills is headed? Spencer teases that viewers will soon learn a lot more about Brody and Kaitlynn’s relationship, while adding that he still has disdain for the Kaitlynn. “Just tune in, because everything will be revealed,” he says, trying just so darn hard to make the show relevant again. “Spoilers — we’re going to find out more about the relationship. I think it makes everyone more likable because you will understand … why Brody acts that way, why Kaitlynn … everyone knows, there’s a big …” And he cut himself off there. This guy is good! In the end, however, the important thing Pratt wants you to remember is that he’s awesome and everyone else on the program sucks. “Unless there’s a camera here, don’t call me,” he concluded about where he stands with the cast. “If we’re not filming, you don’t exist to me, go away.” View Slideshow: 13 Shows That Need to End Right NOW

Andrew Glennon: Is He About to Dump Amber Portwood?

Amber Portwood is in trouble with the law. This much we know to be a fact. She just got arrested for felony domestic violence after allegedly attacking boyfriend Andrew Glennon early on the morning of July 5. A dispatch recording confirms that Glennon told authorities Amber didn't merely assault him , either. She did so while he was cradling their one-year old son in his arms. What will this mean for Amber as a free woman? She could be headed for prison . What will this mean for Amber as a single woman? Is she about to become one? We do now have one very clear reason to suspect she might. Scroll down to see what we mean… 1. Okay. So What Happened Here? Portwood and Glennon appeared to be in a great place… but then Amber was arrested in her Indiana home around 6 a.m. on Friday, July 5. 2. She Was Booked on a FELONY Charge of Domestic Violence Here is her mugshot. 3. YIKES We know, right? The police have since confirmed that Amber (allegedly) attacked Andrew three hours before her arrest — and that he was holding their one-year old son, James, in his arms while she did so. 4. You Can Text 911 in Indiana And this is what a dispatcher said about what transpired: “I received a text message from somebody saying that their life and their son’s life is in danger.” So, yes, the attack sounds VERY serious. 5. Where is Amber Now? She’s NOT in jail, we know that much. Portwood was bailed out on Saturday, July 6. 6. But Here’s the Thing: Radar Online has confirmed that Glennon was NOT the person who bailed her out. View Slideshow

Wendy Williams: I’m Dating a Hot, Black Doctor!

Wendy Williams is back on the air. But she is officially off the market. The talk show host made that very clear on Monday morning, discussing her very own love life as part of her Hot Topics segment. “I’m not on the market anymore,” Williams revealed close to the opening of her first new episode in five weeks. The 54-year old then grew both giddy and emotional as she spoke to her studio audience. “I’m not in love. I’m not in love … but there’s somebody that I’m crazy about,” she added. This object of Wendy’s affection is NOT the young boy toy and ex-convict with whom she had previously been linked, either. “Listen, it’s not who you think,” Williams went on to say, addressing chatter about her relationship with 27-year-old Marc Tomblin. “OK, mother doesn’t deal with children.” Fair enough. Who does she deal with in that case? “It just so happens that, I guess with my charm and wit, I attract people of all ages,” she continue. “Whether you are 90…but if you are cool, you’re my friend. If you are 27, like my new friend Mark…he’s from L.A., he came to New York, he’d never been to New York before.” This was Wendy’s rambling way of saying she’s a “hand holder” — and that, yes, she was spotted holding hands with this Mark person . But the two are definitely not an item. While 27-year-old guys do find her “very attractive,” Williams was not too shy to admit, when it comes time for the comfort of a man, the television personality said she needs “somebody in his 50s too.” “And he’s gotta work. It helps that he’s a doctor,” Williams added to raucous applause, concluding of her relatively new boyfriend: “I am not gonna say one more word, you’re not gonna blow this for me. But he’s been married, his kids are in their 20s and yes, he’s black.” Williams said she would name the guy just yet, but made a point to emphasize that he’s in terrific shape. During her first episode back, Williams also addressed a headline from the Globe saying Williams was getting “sweet revenge as $50 million divorce turns ugly.” (Wendy finally filed to divorce Kevin Hunter several weeks ago, following years of him cheating on her and even welcoming a baby with his long-time mistress.) While she didn’t bring up her estranged awful husband by name, Williams did feel a need to mention the aforementioned article and headline. “When I saw this [headline], I almost passed out right there. I bought all of them at the airport. Listen, my family is doing fine and I am doing fine.” We actually are happy to hear that. Because although we find Williams to have a grating personality and a very irritating TV persona… and while we wish she’d stop trashing other celebrities and speculating on their lives just garner herself attention and ratings… Hunter very clearly sucks. No person deserves to be treated the way he had been treating her. View Slideshow: 19 Times Wendy Williams Has Totally Sucked as a Person

John Witherspoon Says ‘The Boondocks’ Will Return for a Fifth Season

Visit link:

Source: E. Charbonneau / Getty T he Boondocks played a heavy role in the development of many teenagers in the 2000s and now fans can rejoice in the return of the series, according to John Witherspoon. Witherspoon, 77, has played a prominent role in the animated TV show, portraying the retired grandfather Pops Freeman. Along with his grandsons, Huey and Riley, he lived in suburban Chicago facing a whirlwind of challenges and hijinks. A show that is seen as ahead of its time, The Boondocks tackled political commentary at the height of the Bush era and other pop culture references (e.g. R. Kelly’s child pornography trial). John was a guest on the Joe Rogan Podcast to discuss his career and dropped some not-so-subtle nuggets on the show’s future. “I’m on the cartoon – what is it?  The Boondocks ? I didn’t change my voice for  The Boondocks . And they coming back:  Boondocks  is coming back… It’s one of the best cartoons I’ve ever been on,” he tells Rogan. View this post on Instagram Political Niggas vs. Get Money Niggas. #BoondocksBack the following text is a message from Aaron Mcgruder “Did these for fun (and to see if I still could). More to come… exactly how much more is tough to say. These strips were only possible due to the enormous talent of my good friend Seung Kim, who did the animation for the old show – and he’s a busy guy. Thanks to him and thanks to Charlamagne for putting these out for me while I get my instagram act together.” AM A post shared by LENARD (@cthagod) on Feb 5, 2019 at 8:34am PST Details are still sketchy at the moment, as no word was mentioned regarding who was returning for the show. Aaron McGruder wasn’t involved during the development of Season 4 due to creative differences, and it’s unsure that he’ll return to the project that he created. For all we know, Witherspoon’s words should be taken with a grain of salt, as he’s also a part of the forever elusive Last Friday  with Ice Cube. If Season 5 of  The Boondocks  does come to fruition, it would be in a very timely fashion given the current political landscape. McGruder himself has teased a number of new comic strips of The Boondocks,  highlighting the current news cycle involving Robert Mueller, R. Kelly, and more. Still, this doesn’t confirm whether he’ll be returning to the television project going forward. Check out the clip of both John and JD Witherspoon on the Joe Rogan Podcast below.

10 Throwback Shows That Were Binge Worthy Before Bingeing Was A Thing

Source: Bryan Bedder / Getty People give millennials a lot of crap, just for being alive — but they can’t deny the fact that we’ve created everything that can be deemed as cool today. From social networks, to streaming services, to terms like “lit”…we did that! Another thing Gen Y is solely responsible for is the beauty and art that is binge watching television. Gone are the days when we were okay with waiting an entire week to see the latest episode of our favorite shows. These days, when a series makes fans wait that long for the new episode, they lose tons of viewers. And to think, this all started with the meteoric rise of the DVD player. Once shows started making their way to DVD, you got to watch it over and over as many times as you please! Why do you think most millennials know the dialogue to their favorite shows like the back of their hand. Once the DVD, along came TiVO. With TiVO, you could record some of your favorite shows while you’re not home, just that it can be there waiting for you like a passionate lover once you return. But even TiVo didn’t have the bandwidth in its early days to keep up when streaming services became a thing. Sure, cable networks like HBO had their full series available to watch whenever you want, but you’d still have to wait a week for the new episode to air in order to truly binge. But once Netflix launched in 1998 as the world’s first online DVD rental store, it was a wrap for the television game. Binge watching has become such a staple in the culture that streaming services drop full series all at once, just to give viewers the opportunity to obsessively soak it all in on their own personal time table. But before we were binging Orange Is The New Black and Breaking bad, there were plenty of shows from the late 90’s and early 2000’s that didn’t get their “binge” just due. Hit the flip to check em out.

Pua Magasiva Dies; Power Rangers Star Was Only 38

Pua Magasiva, an actor who has starred in multiple Power Rangers television shows, as well as the New Zealand soap opera Shortland Street, sadly passed away this. He was 38 years old. Details about what transpired are still being made known, but here is what we’ve learned so far: The New Zealand Herald writes that police were called to a home in Wellington, New Zealand early on Saturday morning… where they found Magasiva unresponsive. An official spokesperson for the police department told the newspaper that they found “no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death,” and that it would soon be referring the case to the coroner. Magasiva portrayed the Shane Clarke, the Red Wind Ranger, in “Power Rangers Ninja Storm,” which marked the 11th television installment of the popular superhero franchise. The Samoan-born actor had also appeared as nurse Vinnie Kruse in hundreds of episodes of “Shortland Street,” one of New Zealand’s most popular daytime dramas. He debuted in the role in 2003, at the height of his fame, and has starred in the show since his return in 2012. “We are all absolutely devastated at the tragic news regarding Pua Magasiva,” the soap opera’s production company wrote on social media Saturday, adding: “Pua was a much loved member of the South Pacific Pictures’ family for many years and our hearts and thoughts go out to Pua’s family at this time.” For Magasiva, this family is comprised of wife Lizz Sadler, a seven-year-old daughter from his previous marriage; and his brother Robbie. (Sadler also has a daughter from a previous relationship.) Magasiva and Sadler got married last April, nearly 10 months after meeting in October of 2016, according to Flava, a New Zealand radio station where Magasiva had co-hosted a morning show prior to his death. The pair had met after Sadler began following the actor on Instagram. “Family is everything! Through the struggles, troubles through it all they will always be there for you… I love you all to the moon and back #mylove,” wrote Magasiva as a caption to the sweet photo above last April. He last posted to Instagram several days prior to his death, when he and his loved ones took a trip together outside Wellington. This photo is from that vacation: Wrote Power Rangers co-star Jason Chan on Facebook after this tragic news went public: “Incredibly sad to hear that one of our ranger family is gone. It will never be the same again. PUA you will be so dearly missed. “You were the center of energy on set and off. Always laughing, giggling and involved in practical jokes.” Added Shane Cortese, one of Magasiva’s co-stars from the television program Outrageous Fortune: My heart goes out to the Magasiva family and the extended television alumni who had the honor of seeing the glint in his eye and the sound of his hearty laugh close hand.RIP my friend #puamagasiva @ShortlandTweet.
