During the “Hot Topics” segment of her show on Tuesday, October 8th, one member’s phone went off, and Wendy was not having it. EURweb.com has the dirt on what Wendy told that person: “Is somebody’s phone on?” Williams asked before snapping at the culprit, per us.com . “Get out! Get out! Turn that phone off now, sir, ma’am, whoever you are. Just, please, kindly.” After admitting she was overdramatic, she adds that when people get tickets to her show, they have to turn off their phones as part of a “NO PHONES” rule. In other words, those phones must be off before taping begins. Apparently, not everyone got the message. CLICK HERE TO WATCH VIDEO
Source: GETTY / Getty Iggy Azalea Vs. Wendy Williams Wendy Williams is not one to mince words. So when she went on her show to talk about Nicki Minaj, she mentioned Iggy Azalea , but referred to her as “the Australian girl with the fake body.” Yiiikes. This prompted Iggy to clap back on Twitter with this zinger: “Who’s the crack head in the halfway house with the gossip show thing?” Now, we get the intention here, to clap back. However, a white woman talking about crackheads? We don’t know about that one, chief. See how Twitter is reacting and whose side you’re on: a white Australian female rapper just tried to insult a black woman by comparing her to 1. A crackhead & 2. A man — on Beyoncé’s Internet.. where’s her management? That’s not how you manage that situation. at all. pic.twitter.com/H64EclkMju — Majesty Ria (@ToriNicksWho) September 18, 2019
Source: Nicky Nelson/WENN.com / WENN Tamar Vs. Loni Love It’s been three years since Tamar Braxton ‘s unceremonious exile from hit daytime TV show “The Real.” Since then, she’s been on quite a monster reality TV run, seemingly having moved on. The same could be said for The Real, as they’ve won daytime Emmy Awards and seem to be perfectly fine with their situation, too. Leave it up to Wendy Williams, though, to stir the pot. On Wednesday’s show, she asked Tamar about her time on the show and she responded with this: “Here’s the thing. I don’t want to be anybody’s marketing tool this season, no shade. I just wish everybody well and I feel like sometimes God has to move you out of situations before you become more toxic to yourself….What if I was in a situation where I’m doing ‘Braxton Family Values’ and very stressed and then I’m doing this other show where people are being catty behind my back. What kind of person would I be right now sitting on this couch? I wouldn’t be focused, I wouldn’t be ready for my transformation, I wouldn’t be ready for my elevation and that’s where I’ve gotta go. I’ve got to go up and up and up.” This prompted a live response from Loni Love : Tamar, then, took things to the next level by posting some hearsay about Loni being shady: View this post on Instagram *allegedly* in my @therealtsmadison voice… When the guilt settles …. Lonnie cut the BS!!! Thanks @wendyshow my sister, for having me!!! U may not have an Emmy YET, but the girls are SURELY watching … anyway, back to my transformation!! A post shared by Tamar Braxton (@tamarbraxton) on Sep 18, 2019 at 3:02pm PDT Loni chimed in with this comment: “Who writes letters? Who sent this? …let’s talk it out…stop going on every other show. You know you want to…and bring ya man!” This all seems pretty, pretty nasty and only getting worse by the day. Sometimes I feel like Tamar is still mad at Loni for laughing when she said someone called her a muppet pic.twitter.com/PY9seQ8cBt —

Barraza/WENN / WENN Wendy Williams Accuses Christie Brinkley Of Faking Dancing With The Stars Injury, The Talk Hosts Clap Back In case you missed it, Christie Brinkley is being replaced on “Dancing With The Stars” by her model daughter Sailor Brinkley Cook after falling and breaking her arm in rehearsals… Wendy Williams addressed Brinkley’s fall in her Hot Topics segment this week and she wasn’t the kindest. If you start the video below at the 20 minute mark you can see where she says she doesn’t believe Brinkley even fell on her arm: Wendy straight up said, “That looked fake as hell…” Well the ladies of “The Talk” are talking back! Hit the flip to see how Sharon Osbourne and Sheryl Underwood responded to Williams’ words about Brinkley.
The world remains outraged that Felicity Huffman is serving 14 days in prison for her role in the college bribery scandal. Many feel that she got off easy because she's rich and famous. Wendy Williams would like to add to that: if Felicity had been black, her sentence would have been much harsher. When Wendy Williams said “Season 11, I'm going harder than ever,” she clearly meant it. “So Felicity Huffman's only going to prison for 14 days?!” “I mean, if she were black, it'd be 14 years number one.” She's not wrong, really. Studies show that even doctors view black women less favorably than white women. You know that courts do, too. Wendy then briefly confuses Felicity with Lori. “She paid $15,000 and she's worth million,” Wendy observes, saying that Felicity paid to “have her daughter's SAT scores changed.” “And that's where her trouble is,” she states. “So,” Wendy continues. “She admitted what she did. She's going to jail for 14 days.” “She pays $30,000 in restitution — maybe a few more dollars,” she assesses. When you're talking about a pair of movie stars, that's not a huge fine. “Do I think she’ll ever work again? Yeah,” Wendy admits. “Because first of all, she copped to it,” she points out. “Second of all, she’s one half of a power couple in Hollywood,” Wendy reasons. She adds: “And she’s a nice woman. She just did something that I think a lot of mothers would do if you had the means.” Wendy then asks her audience if they would do the same for their children, given the chance. A shocking number of them clap. (Folks, you can take the SAT repeatedly and it's genuinely not a difficult test; let your kid get the scores that they get) Wendy then very correctly points to a case that constrasts with Felicity's. (When the scandal first broke, outrage over this particular case showed the disparity between rich white women and their poor brown counterparts) A woman in Connecticut — who is black — was sentenced to five years in prison. She didn't bribe anyone. She didn't pay someone to impersonate her child to give them a better test score. All that she did was use a relative's address as her child's home address to give her child a better zip code and thus a better education. Remember, this was a woman overcoming racism — because yes, schools being funded by local property taxes is not race-blind. It's a decades-old system designed to ensure that rich, white homeowners aren't paying for the educations of poor people. And because of other racial injustices in America, a disproportionate number of low-income families are black or brown. Most people wouldn't consider what this mom did a crime. You'd equate it with sending your kids to a rich neighborhood to go trick-or-treating. But clearly, prosecutors felt that this woman defrauded more affluent parents by giving her child a better chance at life. Meanwhile, Felicity gets 14 days. Nice though she may be, that's not right. Wendy notes that she feels that Felicity should have been fined millions — with that money going to those who cannot afford a better education. That is a great idea. A genuinely great idea. At the end, Wendy states that she doesn't even feel like discussing Lori, whom everyone feels did much worse than what Felicity did.
Wendy Williams Admits Knowing About Kevin Hunter’s Infidelity Wendy Williams is speaking candidly on her divorce and admitting to knowing something was amiss in her marriage. The talk show host was a guest on SiriusXM’s Radio Andy and she told her buddy Andy Cohen that she chose to stay with dirty doggin’ Kevin Hunter because of her son. According to Wendy, she stayed with Kevin so that Kevin Jr.’s life wouldn’t be uprooted. Now that he’s away in college, she has more freedom. “I had to get my ducks in a row. I knew a lot of things for years,” she said, “but my son was at home. It wasn’t fair to him. I’m not going grab his hand and flee the scenes and move zip codes. Now he has to move high schools and stuff like that — he’s just making friends. Now he’s away in college, and the person I am now is very single because he’s not living with me. He goes to school in Miami.” She also admitted that when those damning Daily Mail photos came out of Kevin and his alleged mistress Sharina Hudson, she already had pics of her own and would’ve left him regardless. She also added that she drew the line at Kevin fathering the woman’s baby. “I can take a lot,” she said, “but I’m not raising a family.” When Cohen pressed if she “would still be in it,” Williams replied, “My marriage?” and asked, “Are you out of your mind?” “No, dear, no. I can take a lot, but I’m not raising a family.” That’s not all, however, Wendy also spoke on those rumors that she hot girl summerily smooched Meek Mill—-hit the flip.
Kim Kardashian delivered a major plot twist when she revealed she was studying to become a lawyer earlier this year. It may be hard to imagine Kim representing anyone in court, and not just because she hasn't yet passed her Bar exam. But now that Wendy Williams is calling out for Kim's help, it's clear that Kim's influence and legal know-how are already in high demand . In a recent segment on her talk show show, Wendy Williams asked Kim Kardashian to help get A$AP Rocky released from jail in Sweeden. The 30-year-old rapper was arrested for assault after he and his crew were involved in a street altercation in Stockholm late last month. The beatdown was caught on camera, but Rocky's lawyer insists that it was done in self-defense. Additional footage of the incident, posted to the rapper's Instagram seems to confirm the lawyer's account. In the videos, we can plainly see that Rocky and his crew are being followed and harrassed by shrimpy guys who should really know better. Rocky and his entourage all but beg the two men to leave them alone and “walk the other way.” Of course, both men repeatedly refused to take the advice and continued to stalk the crew around Stockholm, resulting in the eventual fight and arrests. Look, laws are laws, and violence should always be discouraged. But after watching the tapes, it's hard not to feel like those jerks had it coming. Wendy Williams seems to think of the Swedish as organized, healthy, and humane, and assumed their prisons would follow suit. “I'm thinking the prison probably has down sheets, 700 thread count,” Wendy says in the clip. She muses, “You can eat the meatballs like at IKEA all day long.” But Wendy was appalled by the reality of Rocky's imprisonment when she learned of the horrific, inhumane conditions in his cell. “It's Holy Hell!” Wendy reveals about the prison. She goes on to explain that he sleeps “down on the floor” on something akin to a yoga mat. She adds that he has no cell-mate, and he's been alone in his cell for 16 days. “This is stupid, he needs to be released,” Wendy asserts. Apparently, this is where Kim Kardashian comes in. Wendy Williams feels that if Kim were to speak up about this, her voice would make a difference. Kim would be joining a handful of other celebrities who have spoken out about the wrongful imprisonment, including Al Sharpton, Snoop Dogg, and even Donald Trump. In fact, it's Snoop Dogg who first mentions that Kim should get involved, as Wendy's clip shows. “Hey Kim Kardashian,” Snoop says in a self-recorded video post, “go get Rocky out of jail.” “Look out for us,” the famous rapper entreats, adding “The black community needs this.” Snoop and Wendy both also call on Kanye West to simply make his wife help Rocky out, in case their pleas didn't reach her directly. But why Kim Kardashian? What exactly do all these celebrities expect her to do? Well, the “queen of celebrities” as Wendy calls her, is on track to becoming a full-fledged lawyer. And although she may not be legally certified yet, she may have a more a nuanced perspective of this issue from a legal standpoint. “She's involved with the law right now,” Wendy points out, “and this would be a big feather in her cap if she can help make this happen.” Truly, Kim's influence is so mighty that she could bring a lot of attention to Rocky's plight without ever stepping into the courtroom. But Wendy ackowledges that Kim can't pull this off all by herself. “When I say help, I mean she should not be the main person,” Wendy clarifies, suggesting Kim contact a law firm. Wendy goes on to explain that “Kim needs to be in the shadows, but clearly present, making it happen.” Wendy also suggests that Kim go so far as to make use of her connections with the white house, pushing our government to fast-track the issue with Sweeden. We love this fantasy of Kim as some kind of fame-powered superhero, fighting for justice from “the shadows” despite her insane level of visibility. We think Wendy may be giving Kim a little bit too much credit. But we live in a time when celebrities seem to make all the rules, so honestly, who even knows anymore? In any event, the world will know more about A$AP Rocky's fate on Friday, when prosecutors must either formally charge him or request to extend his detainment.
Wendy Williams is back on the air. But she is officially off the market. The talk show host made that very clear on Monday morning, discussing her very own love life as part of her Hot Topics segment. “I’m not on the market anymore,” Williams revealed close to the opening of her first new episode in five weeks. The 54-year old then grew both giddy and emotional as she spoke to her studio audience. “I’m not in love. I’m not in love … but there’s somebody that I’m crazy about,” she added. This object of Wendy’s affection is NOT the young boy toy and ex-convict with whom she had previously been linked, either. “Listen, it’s not who you think,” Williams went on to say, addressing chatter about her relationship with 27-year-old Marc Tomblin. “OK, mother doesn’t deal with children.” Fair enough. Who does she deal with in that case? “It just so happens that, I guess with my charm and wit, I attract people of all ages,” she continue. “Whether you are 90…but if you are cool, you’re my friend. If you are 27, like my new friend Mark…he’s from L.A., he came to New York, he’d never been to New York before.” This was Wendy’s rambling way of saying she’s a “hand holder” — and that, yes, she was spotted holding hands with this Mark person . But the two are definitely not an item. While 27-year-old guys do find her “very attractive,” Williams was not too shy to admit, when it comes time for the comfort of a man, the television personality said she needs “somebody in his 50s too.” “And he’s gotta work. It helps that he’s a doctor,” Williams added to raucous applause, concluding of her relatively new boyfriend: “I am not gonna say one more word, you’re not gonna blow this for me. But he’s been married, his kids are in their 20s and yes, he’s black.” Williams said she would name the guy just yet, but made a point to emphasize that he’s in terrific shape. During her first episode back, Williams also addressed a headline from the Globe saying Williams was getting “sweet revenge as $50 million divorce turns ugly.” (Wendy finally filed to divorce Kevin Hunter several weeks ago, following years of him cheating on her and even welcoming a baby with his long-time mistress.) While she didn’t bring up her estranged awful husband by name, Williams did feel a need to mention the aforementioned article and headline. “When I saw this [headline], I almost passed out right there. I bought all of them at the airport. Listen, my family is doing fine and I am doing fine.” We actually are happy to hear that. Because although we find Williams to have a grating personality and a very irritating TV persona… and while we wish she’d stop trashing other celebrities and speculating on their lives just garner herself attention and ratings… Hunter very clearly sucks. No person deserves to be treated the way he had been treating her. View Slideshow: 19 Times Wendy Williams Has Totally Sucked as a Person
As you very likely know by now, Wendy Williams is single. And in case you were somehow unsure, the talk show host made it very clear this morning: She is SO very ready to mingle! Actually, to be more specific, to hear Williams herself tell it…. she’s already way past mingling. She’s seemingly moved on to, well, you can go ahead and use your X-Rated imagination. Explaining to viewers on Tuesday how she’s “reclaiming her life” in the wake of her divorce from Kevin Hunter , Williams didn’t sound a woman scorned or lonely these days. Far from it, in fact. “I go out a lot because I am a good time girl. I like to have fun,” Williams said to raucous studio audience applause. “I am right now a young and pretty New York City girl.” Well, she’s 54. But you’re only as young as you feel, right? After many years of putting up with Hunter allegedly cheating on her, Williams finally had enough last month. She filed to legally break-up with Hunter after his mistress gave birth to the couple’s child and Williams sadly relapsed in response; multiple outlets reported that Wendy was rushed to the hospital on the same day Hunter welcomed a baby with Sharina Hudson. It’s all been enough to turn even Wendy’s most stridents critics sympathetic to her romantic plight. But Williams doesn’t want our sympathy. She just wants us all to know she’s still getting some, thank you very much! The star noted on air today that she has “the ultimate bachelorette pad high atop everything” with a “really, really good view” — and it sounds like she’s putting it to good, scorching hot use. “I don’t have a boyfriend, but I must admit I am rediscovering my love of men,” Williams told her viewers with a smile, adding: “I do date and I date pretty often… the parade of men will continue because I need things lifted, put in position. I’m still unpacking boxes for God’s sakes. “That’s all I’m saying.” She may be saying more if one chooses to read between the lines. But we’ll leave that to our loyal readers. Williams has talked in broad or vague terms about her divorce in the several weeks since it was made official. However, she grew rather personal and clearly bitter just a couple days ago, addressing women who cheat with married men and telling them they would burn in Hell . If it sounds like Williams is therefore struggling in light of her spllit, she wants you to think again. “I am working on my divorce pleasantly right now,” she said very simply today, talking directly about the break-up for one of the first times and continuing: “It’s hard to say ‘give privacy’ because I don’t give privacy when I’m doing the rest of the stories, so you do what you want – you always do.” Hunter and Williams got married in 1997 and have a son named Kevin together. Her estranged husband also worked as a producer on Wendy’s talk show ever since it premiered, mixing business with pleasure in an unhealthy manner. But no longer. Williams has not only kicked Hunter out of her bed, she’s also kicked him off her program ! You continue to go, girl! View Slideshow: 19 Times Wendy Williams Has Totally Sucked as a Person
