The Glee star, who is yet to comment publicly on the death of Cory Monteith , played an unknown and unnamed acoustic song at The Roxy in Los Angeles, simply telling fans “This one is for you, Cory.” Listen now: Chord Overstreet Plays Song for Cory Monteith Late last week, Ryan Murphy revealed his show’s plans to honor Monteith and the character of Finn on Glee Season 5 , while Fox pushed the September premiere back a week. Monteith’s body, meanwhile, has been cremated and the official autopsy lists his cause of death as a mixture of heroin and alcohol. We continue to send our best wishes to Cory’s loved ones.
