According to the final coroner’s report, released today, Cory Monteith was shooting heroin and drinking champagne on the night he died. The official findings say responders arrived to Cory’s Vancouver hotel room shortly after noon on July 13 and found there a “spoon with drug residue and a used hypodermic needle.” They also discovered two empty champagne glasses and bottles. The coroner lists Monteith’s cause of death as “mixed drug toxicity, involving intravenous heroin use combined with the ingestion of alcohol.” Because Monteith, 31 at the time of his passing, had been off the wagon since April, the coroner notes that his tolerance for foreign substances may have been lower than in the past. He likely believed his body could handle what he was putting in it. The report also concludes that the Glee star “had a history of illicit drug use with intermittent periods of rehabilitation and of abstinence from drugs.” Glee Season 5 will pay tribute to Monteith a special, drug-themed episode on Thursday, October 10.

The 30-second spots starts with the former Grease and Saturday Night Fever star donning a straw hat and sauntering around on the beach, followed by an attractive woman giving him an exciting hug. He then kicks a soccer ball, scores a goal and celebrates by moving and shaking like only John Travolta can. Take it all in now: John Travolta Rum Commercial

Dr. Conrad Murray really, really does not want to testify in the Michael Jackson wrongful death case. That’s just the impression we’re getting lately. In a voicemail to a friend , he threatens to drop a nuclear bomb on the entire case (so to speak) if he’s forced to testify, and he says he’s not bluffing: Conrad Murray Voicemail It’s the second time Murray has threatened AEG and the Jacksons with potentially destructive testimony, suggesting he has only BAD things to offer. Curiously, this threat appears directed at both sides, so it’s unclear exactly what secrets he’s harboring … but in any case, this is one scary dude! The incarcerated Conrad Murray says in his latest voicemail warning: “Please stop. If you don’t, let this serve as my final warning to both sides. Don’t incite me to testify. Consider this as an imminent nuclear warning.” “Enough is enough.” He then hints at the nature of his “nuclear” secret, which pertains to the true nature of Michael’s relationship with his family. Again, it’s not clear how. Murray was subpoenaed n Katherine’s $40 billion wrongful death lawsuit against AEG, but pleaded the fifth because he doesn’t want to incriminate himself. He has appealed his involuntary manslaughter conviction, which landed him in jail for four years for his role in the 2009 death of the King of Pop.

It is important to have someone that supports you and encourage you, someone that makes you feel that you are unstoppable, that you can do anything in the world because you have him.” Monteith reportedly showed up on the set of Michele’s photo shoot, with an E! News source saying he was especially nice to everyone there.
