No, Megan Fox Has Not Seen Transformers 3

If you’ve been wondering whether Megan Fox, the Transformers bombshell who dared to compare director Michael Bay to Hitler, has seen Dark of the Moon after being replaced by pouty pin-up Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, the answer is no. “I haven’t seen it yet, but I will see it,” Fox told Moviefone. “I mean, if they hadn’t been hitting me so hard on the press tour, I would have gone to the theater. I love Shia to death; I love him unconditionally. And I love that crew. I want to see it for them. I know it looked amazing in the trailer.” [ Moviefone ]

Photo Booth: Portraits from the 2011 Toronto Film Fest

Child actors all grown up, Oscar-winning directors popping their collars, stars going silly for the camera — anything goes when you stick actors and filmmakers in the studio for some good, old-fashioned family-style portraits. See who came to town for the 2011 Toronto Film Festival and gave good face for the camera, uberdramatic, super goofy, and otherwise, in Movieline’s TIFF 2011 Photo Booth .

Letter from Toronto: Hysteria Hums Along; Albert Nobbs Drops the Tea Tray

A tribute to vibrators and the women who love them, Tanya Wexler’s Hysteria is a jaunty little entertainment that’s almost plowed under by its early-suffragette arguments for women’s equality. But like the little motorized whatsit that is its subject, the movie’s charms are ultimately irresistible.

Whitney Houston, Jordin Sparks Set for Sparkle Remake

Before there was Dreamgirls the musical (let alone Dreamgirls the movie) there was Sparkle , the deliciously melodramatic 1976 R&B musical about the ups and downs of a trio of singing sisters from Harlem who make it big in 1950s New York. The tale was loosely, infamously based on the real-life experiences of The Supremes and lead singer Diana Ross’s ascent to solo stardom, but Sparkle had a dark edge, with threats like drugs, criminals, and jealousy around every corner.

Can You Honestly Tell the Difference Between Glee and Kidz Bop’s ‘Tik Tok’?

This Glee show that Julie likes is out of control. It’s unfunny, witlessly tone-shifty, and a pox on this Golden Age of Television that keeps happening. Also, the “music” is scathing! Case in point: In the musical preview for next week’s episode, we hear the show’s clear-best character Brittany lead Ke$ha’s “Tik Tok.” Compare that rendition to the Kidz Bop Kids version and tell me if there’s really any difference (besides the awesomely kid-friendly lyrics).

Well, almost all of them. It’s Official: Gwyneth Paltrow Hosting SNL with Musical Guest Cee Lo Green

This explains all of the “Paltrow to duet with Cee Lo” reports from yesterday: NBC has confirmed to Movieline that Paltrow will host Saturday Night Live on Jan. 15 and, yes, the musical guest is Cee Lo Green. (This news was originally reported as a duet to occur this weekend, which made little sense considering that Jim Carrey is hosting.) And, yes, the smart money would concur that we will see a duet between these two on Cee Lo’s smash hit “F*ck You,” whose sanitized version Paltrow covered on Glee . [ NBC ]
