50 Cent’s Bankruptcy of the Day

A video posted by 50 Cent (@50cent) on Sep 5, 2015 at 7:53am PDT I saw this trending on Facebook….and figured that I am both behind the curve, always bhind in the news, not because I have a life, but because I hate the computer, and ultimately don’t care about 50 cents finances, but the masses care…and that means I have an opinion on it… Declaring personal bankruptcy is a strategy to not pay your debts including to the IRS, which is usually more affordable or better business than actually paying them, because if you owe the government millions of dollars, you can just shelter that millions of dollars so that they can’t get it and be rich as fuck and bankrupted… It’s rich person problems… so 50 Cent is not poor because he’s bankrupt, he’s just stupid for bragging about his mansion in Africa, where I guess he’s moving to evade his tax bills… The fact that people are shocked by this, based on his career, his Vitamin water deal, and all the other shit he’s done… He can’t be bankrupt, like the traditional poor person kind of bankrupt….but he can be bankrupt legally, because why pay bills when you can just keep all your money…right… The post 50 Cent’s Bankruptcy of the Day appeared first on DrunkenStepfather .

Hide Ya Kids…Literally: GA Police Find Boy Missing For 4 Years Hidden Behind A Fake Wall At Home

Wait…what? Missing Georgia Boy Found Captive Behind A False Wall In His Father’s Home This is a really bizarre story . Via Sun-Sentinel : A 14-year-old boy missing from his mother for almost four years was found hidden behind a fake wall of his father’s Georgia home Saturday, police told the Los Angeles Times. His father is among five people arrested in connection with the case, police said. Clayton County police discovered the boy behind the wall after his mother, who lives in Florida, received a text message from her son saying he was being held captive, Sgt. K.T. Hughes, spokesman for Clayton County police, told the Times. “The boy was reunited with his mother a short time ago,” Hughes said Saturday. Clayton County is an Atlanta suburb. The boy was never reported as missing to the Clayton County police, Hughes said. It is unclear if a missing persons report was filed elsewhere. Those arrested include two adults; Gregory Jean, the boy’s father; and Samantha Joy Davis. Three juveniles, whose names were not released, were also taken into custody. Police said they were trying to determine the ages of those arrested, as well as their relationships to each other. All five have been charged with false imprisonment, obstruction and cruelty toward a child, Hughes said. The investigation is ongoing, police said. Thankfully he was found safe after all that time , but no word on WHY the boy was being hidden from his mother all that time. Again, this one is just strange. KTLA

Bird Beef: ‘R&B Diva’ Lil Mo Calls Chante Moore A “Wicked, Evil Beyotch” And Threatens To Toss Her Off A Cliff

It’s about to be a girl fight ! Lil Mo Threatens Chante Moore And Calls Her Evil Things get tense between unlikely artists on tonight’s all-new “R&B Divas: LA.” Via S2S Magazine reports: Previews have hinted toward drama between Lil Mo and Chante Moore, but there’s also an awkward exchange between Chrisette Michele and Claudette Ortiz. Claudette, who has managed to avoid most of the drama this season and last, decides to speak her mind about the “thickness” that’s surrounding the women, but it’s seemingly interpreted as shade by Chrisette. “The last thing that I’m expecting her to say to me is that I’m distant. So confused,” said Chrisette who “expected better” from Claudette. While Lil Mo steps away from that encounter to pray, she later calls out spirits when dealing with Chante, whose attire she attacks. “I’ll throw you,” threatens Lil Mo. Chante, who has obviously rubbed Mo the wrong way, is shocked by the verbal attack. “I’m surprised at Mo and her inability to control her anger. I expected respect. That isn’t what I’m receiving,” said Chante. “I’m getting tired of explaining myself.” Mo might be sanctified but by the sound of it, she’s ready to lay some hands on he co-star. Do you think Mo and Chante will catch fade this season??

Way Black When Honors: Lenny Williams

Read the rest here:

Even if you don’t know his name, you know his music. Lenny Williams’ classic ballad “Cause I Love You” has been sampled by everyone from Kanye West to Scarface and remains one of the most well-known love songs of the past thirty years. Fact: Lenny Williams won a BMI Award With Kanye West for Twista’s “Overnight Celebrity” The Arkansas-born California native was once the lead singer of the group Tower Of Power and has had much success as a solo artist. Now, thanks to Young Jeezy , a newer generation of music fans are being exposed to his music. On TM103  Young producer M-16 samples Williams “Let’s Talk It Over” for Jeezy’s latest hit “I Do,” The original song was released as a single in 1979 on MCA Records. “I thought it was going to be my follow-up to ‘Cause I love you’ and I was trying to do a similar song,” says Williams of the track. “But we ended up doing it a little faster than I wanted to at the end. So I couldn’t get my talking on. It’s a good song, I always felt it was kind of wasted and here it is all these years later and Jeezy found it. It’s exciting to see what touches people. It’s gotta be thirty years later and they found it. Their version has a lot of nice strings. They got me humming in the back. I love it.” “I Do, I Do” So with two of his songs anchoring hip-hop hits is there anything else he feels could get the sample treatment? “I always wondered why nobody ever sampled ‘Choosing You’ ,” he says. “Especially the New York rappers.  ‘Choosing You’ was  a #1 hit in New York on WBLS. It’s an uptempo song with the strings. I think Ray Parker, Jr. is playing on it and the guys from Lakeside are signing and playing on it.” “Choosing You” In addition to his considerable catalog from the 60s and 70s,  Williams has been recording new music as well. He released an album in 2009 called Unfinished Business with the hilarious “Sorry I Didn’t Know That Was Your Momma” , which he says is based on a true story. “I was at a club one night with the band and I was walking around on a break and I saw this table of ladies,” he begins. “I walk over and holla and you see they look like a certain age. But one of the girls at the table said ‘hey don’t be talkin like that to my momma.’ It’s interesting because momma had the little tattoo, the nose ring, earring, tongue ring…They dress like Beyonce and want you to treat ‘em like Eartha Kitt.” With stories like that it’s easy to see why Lenny Williams will have more music coming in 2012. In the meantime hit him up on Twitter @LennyWilliams
