The June issue of Vanity Fair takes an in-depth look at the life and death of Whitney Houston. Written by Contributing Editor Mark Seal, the article delves into the late singer’s love life, which is best known for her 15-year marriage to Bobby Brown, but which also included a dalliance with Kim Kardashian sex tape partner, Ray J. Karrine Steffans – a self-proclaimed “Video Vixen,” who has dated Brown, Ray J and Bill Maher, among other celebrities – is featured in the piece, telling Seal that Ray used to taunt Brown on a frequent basis. Soto writes that even though the pair were both married to other people when they met in 1968, they carried on a steamy affair for years, only ending in 1997, when she grew tired of his womanizing, although they reconnected close to the end of Ray’s life in 2004. In the memoir, obtained by Globe Magazine , Soto writes of stealing money from Charles, substituting $1 bills for $100s that he brought home from one of his concerts. She writes, “I certainly didn’t feel like I was robbing the blind. I felt like he was ready to do something he should have done years earlier – pay off my house.” And if that wasn’t enough to tell you what sort of a person Soto boasts of being, she also admits to aborting his baby, and never telling him. “I didn’t even tell Ray – there was no reason to know. I definitely wasn’t having a baby.” SMH! What a lovely woman. A popular video and cakes model is keeping a pretty big secret from her NBA rookie boo, Bossip has learned. The Houston-bred Latina beauty, known for her ridonculous curves, reminiscent of a cartoon character, has revealed to a friend that she is four weeks pregnant with her first child. Her fellow Texas-native boyfriend, who was drafted into the league by a Central Division team last year, has no idea he is about to be a baby daddy. According to the model’s friend, the reason may be that the two aren’t exactly on the best of terms right now. For the model, there’s no guarantee that her gut full of financial security will be as wise of an investment as she might be thinking. Her man hasn’t exactly had a spectacular rookie year and is getting nowhere near as much love as he did in his Big East days. Not to mention the fact that, obviously, being pregnant will put her out of commission from her day job for a few months. In her defense, the evidence we saw shows that the future model mommy is genuinely happy about the pregnancy.
