Pure Comedy: Drake Trolls All The People Who Think He’s A Curse To Every Sports Team He Reps

Source: Tom Szczerbowski / Getty Drake Puts A Message Out There To All The “Sports Curse” Believers Drake has long been known to be a huge fan of sports and is constantly repping The Toronto Raptors, but sometimes, he slaps on a jersey for a team he’s never really payed attention to before–publicly, at least. Take Alabama for example. Drizzy was seen wearing an Alabama football sweatshirt the day before the college football national championship game, where the team ended up losing.  This resulted in the everyone mocking the rapper, with some going so far as to accuse Drake placing a curse on the football team and every other sports team he reps. After he took his toll on the beloved Crimson Tide, Drake became popular among South Carolina football fans who were ecstatic about the Clemson Tigers and their win. But as for the rest of the world, they were cracking jokes at how the Canadian has become a jinx for the popular teams he loudly supports. This weekend, though, Drake came back at the trolls in the most Drake way possible. Aubrey posted a picture to his Instagram stories that read, “To everyone that believes in the Drake curse, good luck tomorrow.”  In the photo we see him in a black sweater that sports the logos of the Kansas City Chiefs, New England Patriots, New Orleans Saints, and Rams. The 2019 NFL Playoffs take place this week and from the looks of Drake’s choice of attire, nobody’s safe. The Championship Game between the New Orleans Saints and Los Angeles Rams is kicking off on Sunday afternoon, but uhhh…maybe neither team will win? Or is this Drake’s way of expertly breaking a curse?

According to Cardi, Trump should be ashamed of himself for demanding billions for his border wall, and she noted that it’s not comparable to the Obama shut down that went on for 17 days for the affordable care act. “I don’t want to hear y’all motherf****s talking about ‘Oh, but Obama shut down the government for 17 days’” she says in the video. “Yeah, b*** For healthcare! Welcome to another installment of Global Grind’s The Rewind .  Like we always do at this time, Global Grind’s bullies, DJ Franchise and Landon Levarius are back once again for another episode of  The Rewind . Every week we get our experts to discuss the cultural happenings of the last week and then rate them from a 1-10. In case you have been living under a rock,  The Rewind  will always be here to get you right. On today’s episode, we’re unpacking Netflix’s Bird Box . By now, you’ve gotten the opportunity to see the film at least once. Bird Box stars Sandra Bullock and Moonlight  break out star Trevante Rhodes. Bird Box  is a post apocalyptic thriller that begins when a mysterious force threatens the end of civilization. The force, if you look at it, causes you to not only do bodily harm to yourself but pushes you to kill yourself. Mallory, played by Sandra Bullock, connects with a group of people with the desire to survive the end of the world. Eventually, Mallory must use her instincts to keep her and her children alive with the help of good samaritans and a box of birds. Mallory and the children are blindfolded for the majority of the film and have to figure out how to navigate the world without the ability to see. Trevante Rhodes’ character, Tom, plays an unlikely love interest in the film. The movie hit Netflix on December 13, 2018, and social media has had mixed reactions about whether or not they enjoyed it. What did Landon Levarius and DJ Franchise think? They drop their opinions and give it a rating. Also, Landon and Franchise dive into one of the most highly discussed topics in 2019 so far — R. Kelly. The six part docu-series Surviving R. Kelly premiered on the Lifetime network on January 3 and ever since then, it has been all anyone has been talking about. The series touched on R. Kelly’s past allegations of inappropriate sexual contact with minors and spoke to R. Kelly’s former victims, family members, friends, employees and even his music teacher. Journalist Dream Hampton directed the documentary which reignited the entire #MuteRKelly movement. Landon and Franchise share their thoughts on Surviving R. During WE tv’s “Growing Up Hip Hop” Live Cast event on 1/17 Boogie Dash revealed that he received a text during the broadcast from a young lady claiming to be pregnant. That text message said: “There’s no way to say this, but I’m pregnant.” His “Growing Up Hip Hop” cast mates, including Angela, Vanessa and Jojo Simmons, Egypt Criss and Sandra ‘Pepa’ Denton, were all stunned by the news. Boogie walked off the live event set to deal with the surprising information. “The Rewind” Ep 26 This week on “The Rewind” the Family Guy Landon Lavarius and The Bully DJ Franchise send a message to R. Kelly; “We see you!” The two discuss the “Surviving R. Kelly” documentary and they’re both disgusted. “It’s the people around R. Kelly who let this happen,” said DJ Franchise who gave the doc a 10/10. “I never even knew that Aaliyah was only 15. The security guy falsified documents—that’s jail time!” Landon also wondered if he’d actually do jail time or if the outrage is just a trend “Is R. Kelly about to go to jail now? Rapper Princess Nokia  is blasting Ariana Grande for plagiarizing the flow from her song “Mine”, but is it really her’s in the first place? In a video posted to Twitter, Nokia listens to both versions of the tunes and makes sarcastic gestures. Towards the end of the clip, Nokia utters “sounds about white”, implying Ari appropriated her tune. The issue is, some people think BOTH their songs steal flows from Soulja Boy’s “Pretty Boy Swag” and other pioneering trap rappers. Hit play.
