Source: Streeter Lecka / Getty Dion Waiters Reportedly Suffers Panic Attack After Eating THC-Infused Edible According to ESPN , NBA baller Dion Waiters suffered a panic attack on the Miami Heat charter plane after consuming a THC-infused edible . Waiters, who was MIA against the Lakers, reportedly received medical treatment when the plane landed after the flight from Los Angeles from Phoenix. Waiters has had a rough start to the season in Miami, and has yet to play in a single game this season. The Heat are reportedly frustrated with his lack of production after inking him to a huge deal. He is in the third year of his four year, $52 million deal with the Heat. He is also due $24 million through the end of his contract, though could miss a $1.2 million bonus if he misses three more games this year. This incident will make it even harder for the team to trade the veteran seeing as no team may be willing to take on all the drama surrounding the veteran player.

Recent Pharrell team up with GQ for an exclusive editorial and portraits. He is still one of the driving forces and influences at the Adidas powerhouse right beside Kanye West. Usually, we don’t get too many open and honest interviews from Pharrell with his opinion on display on different topics. Thanks to GQ & Rick Rubin we now have an hour-long open form discussion with Pharrell & GQ. The main topic people took away from this interview was his opinion and thoughts on the “Blurred Lines” lawsuit. In which it seems he was faulted for the song “feeling” like another classic. Or as Rolling Stone describes it: In a lengthy legal battle that concluded in 2018, a judge ruled that Pharrell, the song’s producer/co-writer, and singer/co-writer Robin Thicke would have to pay just shy of $5 million to the family of late singer Marvin Gaye over similarities between Thicke’s “Blurred Lines” and Gaye’s 1977 song “Got to Give It Up.” But in the GQ video segment, Pharrell maintains that the two tracks only share a “feeling,” which can’t be copyrighted. The verdict would cause anyone to be upset as it states it shares a “feeling” which cant be copy-written so there shouldn’t be an issue. Pharrell ends up calling the whole thing “his lesson.” Rubin & Williams go on to discuss how trap music’ & salsa music have a similar sound but aren’t the same at all and how the verdict of the case set him back personally. Another interesting take was the trip down memory line in which Rick & Pharrell reminisce how hard it used to be to see Hip-Hop on TV or radio and how the industry tried to suppress the genre until white kids started liking it. Even a slight dive into why Hip-Hop was being suppressed. Overall an amazing open conversation more artists should do. In addition to their inability to remove lies and disinformation in political ads, the social media network is wrought with racism and bigotry according to current and former employees. A CNBC report states the Mark Zuckerberg ‘s company has now “apologized” for not policing a hateful culture toward Blacks, Hispanics, and Asian female employees. The blog was written by a group of people who are ostensibly part of each of the marginalized groups mentioned. “No one at Facebook, or anywhere, should have to put up with this behavior,” Bertie Thomson, Facebook vice president of corporate communications said in a statement. “We are sorry. It goes against everything that we stand for as a company. We’re listening and working hard to do better.” The blog purports that things at Facebook have gotten much worse since ex-employee Mark Luckie wrote the now-infamous note stating that the tech giant had a “Black people problem”. “Racism, discrimination, bias, and aggression do not come from the big moments,” the anonymous employees wrote. “It’s in the small actions that mount up over time and build into a culture where we are only meant to be seen as quotas, but never heard, never acknowledged, never recognized, and never accepted.” The blog writers appear to want to put their names on this indictment, but they fear that they would not be safe from corporate and colleague retribution. “We cannot afford to be vulnerable externally because Facebook has made us a vulnerable target internally,” the anonymous employees wrote. “The only thing we can hope for in this cathartic exercise is to influence change by sharing our stories and hope that no one else experiences the same discriminatory behaviors that we have.” Facebook, a place for bigots.

Tori Roloff has over one million followers on Instagram for a handful of reasons. She’s relatable, for starters. She often shares pictures of her adorable son, for another thing. And she also posts very often; whether she’s providing pregnancy updates, sending positive message out into the world or simply uploading cute family snapshots. It’s rare that a day goes by without fans hearing from this Little People, Big World star. But that’s the thing; Many days have now gone by. Which, again, is why we find this ongoing silence so noteworthy. “The last few days have really been a struggle for me. This last stage of pregnancy has hit me hard. I get so frustrated not being able to do things on my own,” Tori wrote about five weeks ago, adding at the time: “I carried 6 towels up the stairs this morning to do some laundry and have been winded ever since. I’ve never been good at asking for help and these days that’s all I ever do.” Like we said above: Tori is nothing if not relatable. We’re sure millions of pregnant women have felt this same way. As we previously reported, Kanye West announced his candidacy for President in 2024. It’s the sort of thing that bonkers people blurt out. But he also took the time to rant and rave about not being recognized as an alleged “billionaire.” He has even threatened to legally change hiis name to something deeply ludicrous if his alleged “genius” is not recognized. On Thursday, Kanye West appeared at the Fast Company Innovation Festival in New York, where he spouted some very on-brand nonsense. “When people say it’s crass to call yourself a billionaire,” Kanye begins. He threatens: “I say I might legally change my name to Christian Genius Billionaire Kanye West.” Kanye warns that he might do so “for a year until y’all understand exactly what it is.” As always, it’s difficult to tell exactly when Kanye is joking and when people simple wishfully want to believe that he’s joking. But Kanye sounded intent upon impressing this plan upon his audience, even saying that it would be reflected in official DMV records. “It will be on the license plate,” he told the crowd. Yes, Kanye is still bitter that his net worth is not estimated at a billion dollars by the general public or by standard economic sources. “When I did Forbes , I showed them a $890 million receipt,” Kanye complained. His rant continued, lamenting: “and they still didn’t say ‘billionaire.’” In contrast, of course, they did declare Kylie Jenner as a billionaire, officially, which increased his frustrations. In fact, Kanye — ever the fan of conspiracy theories in which he is the imagined victim — went out of his way to “They don’t want us to know that we can buy land,” Kanye tells his audience. Kanye, who has many millions of dollars, can certainly purchase land. It’s unclear why he might have ever believed otherwise. He then complains “They don’t want us to have the 100 percent ownership [that] I have at Yeezy.” It is unclear if Kanye is referring to systemic white supremacy — a very real problem — or if he believes that more consciously sinister forces are at work. As you may recall, Kanye gave a huge, meandering interview in October about his new music. He mentioned his wealth multiple times during the interview. At the time, he lamented that Kylie had been recognized as a billionaire but he had not. Instead of being happy for her success, he referred to the recognition as a ‘stab.” One of Kanye’s multiple unhinged Twitter rants came in 2016, when he asked Mark Zuckerberg — on Twitter — for one billion dollars. In recent weeks, the man soon to be known as Christian Genius Billionaire Kanye West has referred to himself as a billionaire multiple times. However, here on planet Earth, in real life, Forbes estimated Kanye’s net worth to be $240 million in June, most of which comes from his Yeezy brand. That is a massive, considerable fortune. But it’s less than a billion dollars. It is also less than his wife’s fortune. Maybe he will make good on his threat to change his name to Christian Genius Billionaire. And, to be completely fair, he is definitely one of those things. His new album is even called Jesus Is King . While some of what Kanye says may be so foreign from what we know as reality that it seems funny, his claims are worrisome. We should keep him and his family in our thoughts and hope that he is one day willing to seek any help that he may need. As the saying goes, the more things change, the more they stay the same. Vanderpump Rules Season 8 doesn't debut on Bravo until January 7, but a new trailer released today reveals that the show is attempting a tricky balancing act by mixing some fresh new faces with the SURvers we already know and … well, love is a strong word. Huntsman said, “The whole point of releasing a name is to intimidate someone, to threaten someone, and to scare other people from coming out. That’s something that dictators do … that’s not what America does. That’s not what we do.” Donnie tried to defend himself by saying the whistleblower’s name was already out there. Hostin, a former federal prosecutor, turned to his wife and said, “Kimberly, you’re a lawyer, we have known each other, you’re a former prosecutor. Did you advise your boyfriend that it is a federal crime to out a whistleblower?” Trump Jr. tried to say it wasn’t accurate. Hostin clapped back with, “My law degree says it is,” she said.
