When The Checks Stop Coming In: DMX Down To $50 In Cash And No Gwap In The Bank

DMX is phucked up in the game. DMX Only Has $50 In Cash It’s a shame that a man can sell millions of records and have nothing to show for it… Earl needs to take money management courses. According to The Wall Street Journal In a real-life situation that sounds more like a tired old country song than the latest hip-hop single, rapper DMX has $50 in his pockets and nothing in the bank. New court filings in the bankruptcy case of Earl Simmons, aka DMX, show the rapper has little to report in the way of assets as well as expenses that exceed his monthly income. One of the top-selling hip-hop artists ever, DMX now says he’s down to $50 cash on hand. Not only does he report, under penalty of perjury, that he has zero dollars in the bank, but he also denies having any personal property of value—no electronic equipment, no jewelry, no clothes and no cars. Besides the $50 cash, DMX says the rest of the $1.4 million in assets to his name are tied to pending litigation and other claims. The rapper’s debts include more than $1 million in unpaid domestic-support obligations that, as Bankruptcy Beat readers will recall, precipitated his Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing in July, as well as more than $453,000 owed on a mortgage to a property in Mount Kisco, N.Y. His unsecured creditors are owed another $479,000. As for his monthly budget, DMX is spending more than he’s earning. Court papers show the rapper’s estimated monthly income is $5,000, but monthly expenses are $5,221 (including $1,000 on clothing and $500 on laundry and dry cleaning). DMX’s bankruptcy attorney couldn’t immediately be reached Thursday afternoon to comment. The White Plains, N.Y., bankruptcy court has scheduled an Oct. 8 case conference for DMX’s bankruptcy, but the rest of us can catch him on an upcoming appearance on “Dr. Phil.” DMX, it is never a good idea to spend more than you earn if you already can’t pay your bills. Shady White Plains Cops Will Not Be Charged For Shooting 68-Year-Old Former Marine To Death

Damn shame how they did this man . No Indictment In White Plains Police Killing Of Kenneth Chamberlain No criminal charges will be filed in the fatal police shooting of a 68-year-old ex-Marine killed in his White Plains apartment. A grand jury found no reasonable cause to vote for an indictment in the Nov. 16 killing of Kenneth Chamberlain, Westchester County District Attorney Janet DiFiore said. “We did everything we could and should do to put before that grand jury every piece of relevant and admissible evidence,” DiFiore told reporters on Thursday. The incident started when Chamberlain’s medical alert pendant accidentally went off and police went to his apartment. Family members say Chamberlain told officers he was OK, but they insisted on seeing him. Police took the door off and, they said, Chamberlain came at them with a hatchet and knife. But Randolph McLaughlin, the lawyer for Chamberlain’s family, said White Plains Officer Steven Hart allegedly shouted the “N-word” before he was shot twice by Officer Anthony Carelli and died. DiFiore said the police department assured her it will order a “top to bottom” review over the use of the epithet, as well as its policies on the use of force regarding emotionally disturbed individuals. She said uttering the epithet was not deemed criminal. “The use of a racial epithet in any context is offensive to the dignity of all of us,” she said, adding that when it is used by a police officer “it’s intolerable.” Both officers have civil cases pending against them. Police have said that the deadly force was justified. Black life clearly ain’t worth a damn in White Plains. Crooked azz one-time can kill at will. Source More On Bossip! Kush Chronic-les: NYPD Makes $10 Million Dollar Mary Jane Bust

That’s a pretty big growing operation considering that they were in New York. The NYPD helped seize $10 million worth of pot plants from upstate hydroponic farms and arrest more than a dozen people. A strike force of federal agents, city cops and Sullivan County police swooped down on five homes two hours north of Manhattan. Officials said the ring distributed the pot mostly in New York City, but dealt as far away as Philadelphia. Each plant produced a pound of pot worth anywhere from $600 to $1,200 on the street. Sixteen people, including 14 undocumented immigrants from South America, were arrested on federal drug charges during the sweep by the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Strike Force. The suspects were awaiting arraignment in U.S. District Court in White Plains on Wednesday. Authorities were tipped off while a detective from the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office and Drug Enforcement Administration agents were checking out suspected drug locations. They investigated a car parked outside one of the locations – and immediately smelled marijuana. “The odor was pungent,” said a law enforcement source. “It was so strong there was no mistake.” After interviewing the men inside the car, agents armed with federal search warrants hit five locations in Mamakating, Lumberland and Highland townships. Man those undocumented workers from South America probably had that bomb batch of chronic! Source

Google Thinks All New Yorkers Who Fly Into JFK Are Arab

Tonight someone emailed us to point out a truly bizarre glitch in Google Maps — apparently they think that anyone in New York who searches for directions from JFK airport is Arab. Here’s what our tipster pointed out: Go to Google Maps and click “get directions.” Type “JFK airport” into the A search field and any NY location like “Williamsburg, NY” as the B destination. Click “Get Directions” and “JFK airport” is suddenly Arabic!!! So I tried it multiple times searching for directions from JFK to White Plains, Long Island, Park Slope, Buffalo, Queens and Harlem, and each time the name of the airport showed up in what appears to be Arabic
