According to NYDailyNews , 59-year-old Duane Johnson was sentenced to 3 years in prison yesterday after pleading guilty to criminal neglect and 3rd degree murder of his 69-year-old wife Debra Johnson. See, Debra lived in a nursing home and she told Duane she wanted to be removed so that she could die at home after some “partying”. The couple used meth for 5 days, had sex, and listened to their favorite song Quiet Riot’s “Metal Health”. Duane was found butt-a$$ naked next to his wife’s dead body back on January 24 this year. Debra’s autopsy revealed her cause of death as “methamphetamine toxicity”. Duane likely would have gotten more time but the judge gave him credit for the 201 days served. This case took place in Minnesota but if we didn’t know any better we’d swear it’s Florida.
For well over a year, reports of a feud between Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton have dominated tabloid headlines. The Dueling Duchesses, as they were dubbed by the British media simply couldn’t seem to get along, or even pretend to get along enough to fool the public. This was not, royal “insiders” insisted, a case of the press creating a false catfight narrative out of whole cloth, simply because that’s always what the press does with powerful women. No, this was a case of two of the most influential women in the world clashing so brutally that they were unable to hide their bad blood from London royal-watchers. And for a while there, it seemed the press was really on to something here. Meghan and Kate did not seem to like each other, as evidenced by their coolness toward one another in public, as well as Meghan and Harry’s decision to move out of Kensington Palace , the home they once shared with Will and Kate. But as new information about the spat became public knowledge, a very different narrative began to take shape. Insiders claimed that it was William and Harry who were feuding , not Meg and Kate. And recent photos and footage of Kate and Meghan enjoying each other’s company at Wimbledon seem to serve as evidence that the duchesses do not dislike each other at all. So did they really keep their distance and go to such great pains to disentangle their lives simply because their husbands couldn’t get along? Well, not quite … According to a new report from The Sun , the rumors are true, and Meghan has had a hard time gaining acceptance with several members of the royal family, including pseudo-royals like Kate’s sister, Pippa Middleton. Pippa has no royal title, and officially, she has little to no clout within the Windsor clan. Unofficially, however, Pippa is surprisingly influential as a woman who’s very well-liked in a number of important social circles. And apparently, she and Meghan had to work hard to get to a point where they could peacefully co-exist: “On paper, Pippa and Meghan seem like a match made in heaven, as they are both good cooks, enjoy exercise and are wealthy mums with small baby sons,” an insider tells the tabloid. “Reality check is she is never going to be more than an American duchess married to Prince Harry who was hurtful to Pippa’s sister and who wants to rewrite the rules for the monarchy in the 21st century,” the insider adds. Yes, it seems Meg is still viewed as somewhat of a threat, due to her Americanness and her progressive views. And as much as they may not like each other, it seems Pippa is best at keeping the Duchess of Sussex in check: “Pippa is way too savvy to fall for all of that. Pippa will be more than capable of dealing with Meghan,” the source continues. “She is a seasoned old Marlburian brought up with good manners, clever and tough enough not to let light in on her sisterly frustrations with the Duchess of Sussex, particularly over the treatment Meghan meted out to Kate. “Meghan realises just what a close-knit family these girls come from, the support from parents Michael and Carol is unwavering.” Yes, it seems Pippa is still not happy with the way Meghan behaved toward Kate at some point (even though Kate seems to be over it). As a result, Pip seems to function in a sort of attack dog capacity, willing — if need to be — to do and say the things Kate can’t. “Pippa has a long memory say Edinburgh Uni chums. Relationships are complicated, but breakups can be downright nasty — even months later. Bella Thorne’s ugly breakup with Mod Sun has now claimed her other ex, Tana Mongeau, as collateral. Now, she accuses Tana of breaking “girl code,” and the two are having it out on Twitter in a very public fight. For a while, Bella was dating both Mod Sun and Tana Mongeau. Polyamorous relationships are wonderful, but like boring two-person dating, people sometimes break up. So Bella and Tana broke up much earlier this year, followed by Bella’s much less amicable breakup with Mod Sun. A couple of months ago, Austen Kroll finally explained that weird viral video of him and his girlfriend, Madison Lecroy. Now, he’s shedding further insight into his on-again, off-again relationship. Sitting beside Craig Conover, he dishes on reuniting with Madison while on the group’s trip to Colorado. The pair of Southern Charm stars sat down with Us Weekly to discuss how all of that went down. “Were Madison and I talking?” Austen asks. “A little bit prior to the trip, yeah.” “But we hadn’t really seen each other much,” he admits. “So,” Austen confesses. “I was kind of nervous.” Hey, that’s understandable, especially after some previous hiccups in their relationship. Austen emphasizes that he was “excited to see her because we were going to be on a trip with our friends.” “So if we can’t act right here,” he reasons. “Then where can we act right?” What he means by that is that it’s a low-key, comfortable environment for them to spend time. “But everyone’s face,” Austen remarks. “I mean, for God’s sakes, it was like Ashley [Jacobs] just frikkin’ walked in the freaking room.” Now that would have been a sight. Craig admits that he and some of the others were just not sure how well Austen and Madison were going to do on the trip. “We didn’t know how it was gonna go,” he explains. Craig says that this is “because we didn’t know how secretive they were being, if they were still talking or not.” “And we were all kind of waiting for the moment that they saw each other,” he recalls. “Which was kind of goofy and made me laugh, but it was funny,” he describes. Austen and Madison got up to a little flirting in the hot tub, but fans didn’t see much more than that. He now confirms that he and his lady love “ended up in bed together.” But he still plays it coy when asked about where the two of them are at the moment, relationship-wise. “Honestly, there is so much more of the season left and a lot more happens,” Austen says. “And,” he opines. “I think you just need to watch and see how that all unfolds.” “But,” Austen teases. “You have most certainly not seen the last of Austen and Madison.” Craig was asked if he’s currently single or dating … and quickly got lost trying to define what either term means. “I don’t know what dating means,” Craig confesses. “Yeah, no, I mean, we are just having fun and traveling a lot and I met a few people recently and it’s been a lot of fun,” he acknowledges. “But just kind of talking,” Craig characterizes. “But no one’s coming to weddings with me, yet. …” “I feel like if I would have invited somebody to the wedding last week,” Craig assesses. “I would feel like he is kind of dating her.” Austen and Craig also open up about how it can be difficult to date as semi-celebrities. At this point, it's been so long since Jenelle Evans and David Eason's kids were removed from their home, the couple is probably struggling to remember what raising children was actually like. Now, he has full custody of Kai for the first time, and it seems he's loving every second of it.
