Photo by Jeff Kravitz/FilmMagic Tiffany Haddish Is Currently Working On Putting Out A Rap Album Tiffany Haddish skyrocketed to fame with the quickness this past year, and it’s all thanks to her being funny–but that doesn’t mean she’s going to stick to just one thing for the rest of her career. In fact, she’s already got her next move locked and loaded, and it’s probably not what any of us would expect. The comedian revealed her new side hustle during an interview with the New York Times . Here’s the excerpt from the interview that reveals what might make up an upcoming project outside of the comedy and acting world: “Haddish’s new goal is to create an empire, though she is not sure exactly how to go about it, or if it will be in the entertainment business or what. But she wants to have 40 or 50 people working for her who will be able to buy houses, put their kids through school, and pass their money down. “The end goal,” she said, “is to create intergenerational wealth and spread joy, and make sure everyone who works with me can spread the same thing and have it trickle down.” In the meantime, she is dabbling in music and trying to make a rap album.” Yep, you read that right. Tiffany Haddish is working on a rap album. Comedians making music is nothing new: from The Lonely Island to the current day, where Lil Duval is climbing the charts with his track “Lil Duval – Smile (Living My Best Life),” there’s no more perfect time than now for Tiffany to dabble. No word yet on whether the songs are going to be a real effort at rapping or some more light-hearted comedy songs, but hopefully we will find out sooner than later. In the clip Will and Jada go back and forth with the loving banter, but it seems that Will is tackling some of the most persistent rumors about the couple, including alleged ties to Scientology and stories about them being swingers. The cast of The Real just got word that they’ll be happily employed until 2020, with the showed being renewed for two more seasons. According to deadline, The Daytime Emmy-nominated series not only did well in viewership but they had more than 12 million social actions last season and on is on pace to eclipse that number midway through this season. In addition, The Real has the youngest average age of all talk shows in syndication, at 51. Tamera expressed her joy in a post about the news. “God is good.” Jeannie also thanked fans for the overwhelming support. Meanwhile, Loni is just trying to get that first pay period pay check…. Congratulations to these ladies!
Mo’Nique Responds To Adrienne Bailon’s Keep-It-Real Criticism Mo’Nique has A LOT to say on her nearly decade-old beef with Lee Daniels, Tyler Perry, and Oprah Winfrey over the hard left her movie career took after “Precious.” While discussing the drama, the ladies of ‘The Real’ questioned if Mo’Nique’s potty-mouthed tirades were really the best course of action — either for closure, healing, or moving forward in her own career. Adrienne Bailon was particularly vocal in her concerns that Mo’Nique’s delivery was wild unnecessary and not conducive to…anything, really. Well, Mo’Nique caught wind of the roundtable discussion and, of course, gave her two cents on the matter. Yara Shahidi Gets ‘Black-Ish’ Spinoff Good news for “Black-ish” fans! ABC has greenlit a spinoff of the top-rated show starring Yara Shahidi and Deon Cole. Yara’s new show, “College-ish” will follow Zoey as she journeys to college and figures out life after leaving home. The show will focus on issues facing students and administration in today’s higher learning settings. The show will appear on FreeForm. Black-ish executive producer Kenya Barris tells Deadspin he couldn’t be happier about the new show: “I never thought they’d let me put Black-ish on the air, let alone give me a spin-off. I couldn’t be more excited for the opportunity to continue working with Yara and the rest of this talented young cast.
