Drake presented his lady love with the Michael Jackson Vanguard Award, telling the audience that he’s been in love with Rihanna since he was 22. After the show wrapped, according to Page Six , they had dinner at Carbone in Greenwich Village, then went to an after party at Up&Down nightclub thrown by her label, Roc Nation. Sources told the gossip column that Drake and Rihanna “looking very much like a couple and very in love ,” when they arrived at the party. “They were holding hands and looked very affectionate,” the source added, noting that they stayed in a “private” section of the club, and left together. Other guests at the party included Naomi Campbell, Tracee Ellis Ross, Chance the Rapper, The Chainsmokers, Kevin Spacey and magician David Blaine, who reportedly did magic tricks.
