On Wednesday evening Governor Kay Ivey, a white, female, conservative, signed into law the Alabama Human Life Protection Act (HB 314), which would classify abortion as a felony. Doctors could face up to a maximum prison sentence of 99 years if found guilty, while an attempted abortion holds a sentence of up to 10 years in prison. Monday night on ABC, The Bachelorette finally unleashed the beast in the form of Season 15’s leading lady Hannah Brown. And you don’t need The Bachelorette spoilers to tell you that “Hannah Beast” promises to be a different kind of Bachelorette . For one, she came from outside The Bachelor’s top four earlier this winter. Secondarily, fan response has been … lukewarm. Look, to be clear, we’re not hating on Hannah whatsoever, but more than a few fans feel she’s the worst Bachelorette ever. Before the season even got underway, no less! In any case, the time for speculation is officially over as the May 13 premiere marked her debut on the iconic franchise. Did the University of Alabama grad disappoint? The guy even went on to compare his situation to Hannah dating Colton Underwood before becoming the Bachelorette, an idea that really made no sense whatsoever. She was with someone before and is now single. That’s just how life works. Scott has backup options just waiting for his call! Having heard enough, Hannah trashed Scott as a “jerk” and swiftly threw him out of the house. The Bachelorette then told the remaining men to go home if they had similar circumstances, making it very clear they weren’t dealing with some pushover this season. Thankfully, no one else could relate to Scott. And some of these 30 aspiring husbands proved to be rather creative and funny upon their introductions: Connor S. jumped a fence, a sly reference to Colton doing the same on The Bachelor …. Devin lied about being a virgin, also mocking poor Colton… Joe leaped out of a box… and Cam did a freestyle rap. Prior to entering the mansion for the cocktail party Hannah paused to say a prayer. She then said that she had a slight crush on Jed after he sang her a “Roll Tide” ballad because Hannah hails from Alabama — and she shared kisses with Luke P., Connor S. and Cam! As for who earned the First Impression Rose? It went to a 24-year-old Import/Export Manager who showed off his shirtless physique in his introductory clip and who met Hannah back during the After the Rose special several weeks ago. “I think I’m a good looking guy,” this stud told the camera with a smile and laugh. “When I was in college, a lot of the girls around me thought so too.” This same person is from Gainesville, Georgia and said on air that God spoke to him in the shower once and that he changed his focus in life as a result and has been “working on the husband that I want to be for my future wife.” He also was the first person to comfort Hannah after she sent Scott packing. Yup: it’s Luke Parker! Pictured below with The Bachelorette, will he be able to go from early favorite to final one chosen? We’ll need to tune in if we want to find out — but we do not need to read through any The Bachelorette spoilers to know who no longer has a shot at Hannah’s heart. Kim Kardashian Aided In The Release Of 17 Inmates In 90 Days

Source: Andres Otero/WENN.com / WENN Kim Kardashian has been quietly making moves to shake up the criminal justice system , using her wealth and influence to help aid in the release of over a dozen inmates. In all, the social media megastar has helped 17 inmates gain freedom in the past 90 days. TMZ reports : We’ve learned Kim and her legal team helped 17 prisoners gain freedom over the last 3 months or so — each of them having served years of life sentences without parole … for low-level drug offenses. It’s all part of the 90 Days of Freedom campaign launched by Kim’s lawyer, Brittany K. Barnett, in partnership with lawyer MiAngel Cody of The Decarceration Collective. The campaign puts the First Step Act — signed by President Trump last year — to work for prisoners who received Draconian sentences. Kim is footing the bill while Barnett, who also co-founded the Buried Alive advocacy group, and Cody handle the lawyering. We’re told Kim’s been secretly funding the campaign over the past few months. We’ve known about a few cases Kim’s backed — Jeffrey Stringer in Florida, Cyntoia Brown in Tennessee, Alice Marie Johnson in Alabama — but now we know the list is much longer. Busted: Police Arrest 82 Suspected Predators And Rescue 17 Kids In Undercover Sting Operation

Source: Nia Noelle / Nia Noelle A massive undercover sting operation took place recently took place in several southeast states, which resulted in 82 alleged predators being arrested, and 17 children being rescued. According to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation , which led the four-month investigation, Operation Southern Impact III, targeted people who possess and distribute child pornography and those exploiting children on the internet in other ways. Within three days of the sting, search warrants and arrests were executed to suspects in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia and West Virginia. GBI released a statement on Friday, stating that the list of suspects captured in the sting includes a youth group leader, a former high school band director and a firefighter, whose ages range from 20 to 70 and four of them were already registered sex offenders. The statement read: “A goal of the operation was to arrest persons who communicate with children on-line and then travel to meet them for the purpose of having sex. On-line child predators visit chat rooms and websites on the internet, find children, begin conversations with them, introduce sexual content and arrange a meeting with the children for the purpose of having sex.” Along with the 17 victims who were rescued and identified as victims, police also found eight firearms, ammunition and drugs. Hannah Brown: New Photos Hint at What’s In Store For the Bachelorette!

Folks, Beast Mode Day is almost upon us. Now that we know exactly when Hannah Brown’s season of The Bachelorette will premiere , we can officially begin the countdown until May 13. What’s in store for the former Miss Alabama is anyone’s guess. (But feel free to check out our spoilers for Hannah’s season if you really can’t wait to find out who gets that final rose.)  Fortunately, ABC has decided to whet our appetites with some pics that hint at what’s in store as the woman formerly known as Hannah B. begins her hunt for Mr. Right. It’s fitting that she wound up on an NBA court, because from the looks of these photos, Hannah’s done more traveling than Giannis Antetokounmpo in the playoffs. Yes, for reasons that no one quite understands, both The Bachelor and The Bachelorette send the shows’ stars and finalists all over the freakin’ globe during the last half of each season. We’re sure it’s wildly expensive, and it really does nothing to increase our enjoyment of the show (We’re in it for the drama, not the panoramic shots of Croatia.) but it looks like the custom won’t be going away anytime soon. So where is Hannah headed, exactly? Well, we’re not really sure, as ABC didn’t provide any locations to go along with the pics, but some of these photos have a very European vibe, wouldn’t you say? We do know that Hannah spent some time in the UK recently. So between that trip and Boston, she’s probably had just about enough of drunk dudes spilling Guinness on her shoes as they blather about the superiority of their local sports teams. Of course, everybody is much less interested in where Hannah will end up than in who she’ll end up with . For obvious reasons, ABC is doing its best to keep that information under wraps. (Though like we said, spoilers abound.) All we know for sure so far is that Hannah won’t be engaging in any of the fence-hopping drama that made Colton’s season such a bumpy ride. “It’s all smiles so far,” says host Chris Harrison, seen here posing with Hannah on the night she first met the 32 men who would go on to compete for her affection. That’s good news for Hannah — maybe not such great news for fans who like their reality TV with a dose of high drama. But we don’t think there’s any risk of a boring season ahead. From the very start, Hannah has been considered something of a — let’s say quirky — casting choice, and we’re sure it won’t be long before she entertains us all by entering Beast Mode. June Shannon: I Need My Boyfriend! Because I’m Blind!

According to a recent police report, June Shannon was threatened by boyfriend Geno Doak in a gas station parking lot. The situation escalted to such an extent that cops were called to the scene and both Shannon and Doak were arrested . For possession of crack cocaine! It was pretty serious business. But Shannon doesn’t really think this is the case. And she’s now gone on record about Doak, what he means to her and why she thinks a judge was wrong for telling Geno to stay away from June after the couple was taken into custody. This judge made this decree because Doak allegedly threatened Shannon’s life — although both parties subsequently ignored the order when they hit up an Alabama casino just hours after it was handed down (as documented below). Still, legally, Doak is barred from spending time with Shannon at the moment. This is something the From Not to Hot star is trying to change. She explains that Doak helps her get through everyday and that he’s very loving toward her children and that the two are dedicated to mending their relationship. Shannon wants the court to know she does not fear for her safety around Doak… she is not concerned about what Geno could do to her… and she’s asking the court to lift the protective order saying he must stay away from her. She’d also really like the domestic violence charge against Geno dismissed as well. Shannon and Doak were arrested back on March 15. After someone called the police due to the loud argument in which they were engaged, June told these authorities that the drugs they found inside the vehicle belonged to her. As did the $1,300 in cash they found in her bra. Per various news outlets, Shannon was apprehended on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. Doak, meanwhile, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia and domestic violence. It was the latest in a string of arrests for both Doak and also for June’s boyfriends overall. She has very questionable taste in men. Sources tell TMZ that those close to Shannon think Doak is a terrible influence, but she writes in her new court documents that this simply isn’t true. Shannon says the situation at the gas station “got heated and out of hand, but never was I in fear for my safety or did I want the police involved.” She adds she’s lived with Geno for three years and they’re “working on our relationship to make us stronger as a couple.” They’re also talking marriage and co-starring on From Not to Hot, althought the future of that series is now a mystery. “We share our viewers’ concerns for June Shannon and her entire family. We are monitoring events as they occur and are focused, as always, on the entire family’s well-being,” said WEtv in a statement after June’s arrest. She probably doesn’t deserve to make lots of money by anchoring a television show, that much seems certain at this point. June Shannon needs to make better life choices.

The shocking footage shows Marc Gomez, 36, of Yonkers, kicking the woman in the face and head while bystanders stood by and watched and recorded the incident. No one intervened. He calls her ‘my daughter’ or ‘my stepdaughter.’ He calls her princess.” The 78-year-old woman was treated for cuts, bleeding and swelling. Mama June: Arrested! For CRACK COCAINE!

Mama June has done a lot in her 39 years on this planet. She’s given birth to four lovely daughters, the youngest being a superstar and an absolute gift to this world. Yep, without June, we never would have met the delightful Honey Boo Boo , and can you imagine how much darker this world would be without her? June and her family were introduced to us all on Toddlers and Tiaras, but they went on to get their own reality show, Here Comes Honey Boo Boo Child. Of course, that ended when June started dating a convicted child molester , so the things June has done haven’t always been good. More on that in just a moment. After a few years, someone thought it was cool to bring this reality show goldmine back into the spotlight, and that’s how we got Mama June: From Not to Hot. And it really was impressive how she lost so much weight . The show did really well, and it’s still on the air, so obviously people are interested in June. You know what June is interested in? Crack. According to a new report from TMZ, there was an incident at a gas station in Alabama on Wednesday, and the incident was … well, it wasn’t great. Someone called the police when they witnessed June and her boyfriend, Geno Doak, fighting, and the details aren’t super clear right now, but he was arrested for domestic violence. They were both arrested for felony possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. TMZ got a hold of the police report, which said that when Geno was being arrested for the domestic violence, an officer began to pat him down. He warned the officer not to put his hand inside of his pocket because “I don’t want you to get sticked or nothing.” That’s how the cops knew drugs were involved, and they did find a needle in his pocket, as well as one in the floorboard of their car on the driver’s side. They patted June down, too, and she had a glass pipe on her. When police searched the car more thoroughly, they found a pill bottle in the glove compartment with some kind of white substance inside. She admitted it was crack cocaine. Again, there aren’t many additional details at the moment, but we do know that June has since been released from jail. We know that because there’s audio of her trying to get her car out of impound without her driver’s license. She sounded frantic then, she was speaking very fast and she didn’t make much sense. Because crack cocaine is seriously no joke. This is all we know right now — June hasn’t made a statement, nor has anyone associated with her. Today, we get some disturbing new details as to exactly what got June and Geno popped.. According to TMZ , Mama June was is possession of crack cocaine, a glass pipe, and a hypodermic needle when police searched her vehicle. Police had probable cause to search the car after they Geno told them he had a needle in his pocket upon patting him down. June didn’t give the cops a hard time and claimed possession of everything they found inside her truck. If you listen to the conversation that June had with the tow truck driver upon her releases from jail, you can kinda tell that she’s under the influence of SOMETHING. Yikes. Crack was wack in the 80s, and no rebrand in the world could make it cool in 2019.

So Sad: 10-Year-Old Boy Commits Suicide After Being Brutally Bullied Over His Colostomy Bag

The parents of Seven Bridges are reeling after they say their fifth grader was bullied to the point of suicide. “I saw my son dead. That’s something in my head,” Tami Charles told WHAS11 who found him hanging in the closet after she came home from the grocery store. “For the few minutes that we left, he didn’t want us to see that,” his father, Donnie Bridges said. The parents say their only child, a miracle baby born in 2008, was taunted because of a medical defect that required him to undergo 26 surgeries and use a colostomy bag. Kids would torment little Seven because of the smell. Back in September WHAS 11 reported that Seven was bullied on a bus ride home from his elementary school. He said he was called the N-word by a student and was ordered by a “friend” to beat up the bully. When he refused, his friend began choking him. “I still can’t get him choking me out of my head,” said his mother. His parents were planning to transfer him to another school next year but now they won’t have the chance. They believe his school didn’t do enough to protect him. A GoFundMe has set up for little Seven’s funeral. We send our sincerest condolences to the family of Seven Bridges, this is the second black child in recent months to take their life.
