Happy and very bittersweet news for Bobby Brown: The singer and wife Alicia Etheredge are now the parents of a new baby girl. Etheridge gave birth to the couple’s second child on Friday at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles. Details such as her length, weight and name are unknown at this time, but the baby joins five-year old brother Cassius for the couple, while Brown has four other kids via previous relationships. One of those kids, of course, is Bobbi Kristina Brown , Bobby’s only child with the late Whitney Houston. Bobbi Kristina has been hospitalized ever since passing out on January 31 and her death appears to be tragically imminent. Brown and members of Bobbi Kristina’s family have been by the 22-year old’s bedside at her Atlanta-area care facility for weeks. Bobby Brown is out of rehab and doing well, according to Bobby Brown. The star is adamant that he did not leave rehab early, as has been widely reported, after checking into a facility last month to battle problems with alcohol. Brown did depart the facility after only two weeks, but he claims was part of the plan all along … a somewhat dubious story, but we digress and hope it’s true. The New Edition singer says he’s now 22 days sober … and counting! Wow, 22 whole days. That’s more than three weeks (by one day)! Hey, those 22 days are totally the hardest, right? Here’s hoping Bobby can build on them. Meanwhile, his new wife Alicia Etheredge was hospitalized over the weekend, reportedly having suffered a seizure, but the couple says that all is fine now. Having made headlines over the past couple months for his marriage to Whitney Houston , Bobby Brown is now making plans to walk down the aisle once again. On June 15, to be exact. According to TMZ, that’s when Brown will exchange vows with long-time girlfriend Alicia Etheridge – and the wedding will take place in Honolulu on the same weekend during which New Edition will perform a concert in the area.
