Glenn Weiss Wins Emmy, PROPOSES ON STAGE!

Barry, Game of Thrones and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel all had big nights at the 2018 Emmy Awards . But no one had a bigger night than Glenn Weiss. First, the heretofore little known director won Outstanding Directing for a Variety Special due to his work at the Academy Awards. Then, he won the eternal love of girlfriend Jan Svendsen. After hearing his name called, Weiss walked up to the stage and he thanked his daughters and friends at ABC. The acceptance started out as your typical speech. From there, he started speak about his mother, who died just two weeks ago, telling the audience: “Part of my heart is broken. I don’t think it will ever be repaired. But she’s in me and she always will be.” Weiss explained how his mother always believed in “finding the sunshine,” leading him to denote Svensen as “the sunshine in my life,” as he continued: “And Mom was right, don’t ever let go of your sunshine. You wonder why I don’t like to call you my girlfriend? Because I want to call you my wife.” At this word, the crowd erupted in a loud cheer and Svensen shouted “yes.” It really was an awesome moment. Svendsen was quickly ushered up to the stage by Milo Ventimiglia and a few other stars until she reached the arms of Weiss. As she was walking up, he joked that “I didn’t ask yet. I didn’t ask yet.” But once she was in front of him, Weiss pulled out his dad's engagement ring and got down on one knee. “Jan, I want to put this ring that my mom wore on your finger in front of all these people and in front of my mom and your parents watching from above. Will you marry me?” he asked. And you can guess how she responded, right? By saying YES ! Later on, backstage, the newly-engaged couple told reporters how they met 10 years ago and both have daughters and both produce television shows and how Jan had no idea this was going to happen. “I had no suspicions whatsoever, I had no idea,” she said. “I really hoped he was going to dedicate the award to his mother, and he did, and then some.” Really beautiful stuff. Check out video of the proposal here!

All Of the Lindsay Lohan Ellen Von Unwerth No Tofu Pictures of the Day

Lindsay Lohan is everything. If there was a god…she would be Lindsay Lohan… I have always had a soft spot in my cold dead heart for Lindsay Lohan…I always felt bad for her being raped and exploited by her asshole parents, who were into more cocaine than her, leading to her falling the fuck apart, as most kids who don’t have good parents do…leaving her in a huge fucking pile of shit she couldn’t crawl out of… But I’ve always believed in her and her ability to excite me made me convinced she would win…I believed that if she didn’t fully self destruct, and die, you know from not eating and drugs being shoved down her throat by other idiots who were bringing her down with them….that there would be a comeback, there would be an Oscar, there would be a second coming of Lohan…and in the process maybe I’d be cumming to… I would go so far as to say that she’s the reason for this site…but maybe not…but I did used to leave her silly voicemails and I did used to text back and forth with her before we met and she didn’t want to fuck me…but she did dance then cry about some bullshit for me…in her hotel room…in what was the greatest night I barely remember thanks to being drunk… These pictures are amazing..by Ellen Von Unwerth….who is Amazing… The post All Of the Lindsay Lohan Ellen Von Unwerth No Tofu Pictures of the Day appeared first on DrunkenStepfather .

Star Wars Episode 7: Coming in 2015!!!

Well, say goodbye to the Internet. It’s about to explode. The Walt Disney Company has purchased Lucasfilm Ltd. for $4 billion, according to reports, and included in the press release announcing that mega sale is this passage: Star Wars Episode 7 is targeted for release in 2015, with more feature films expected to continue the Star Wars saga and grow the franchise well into the future . Says direcctor George Lucas: “For the past 35 years, one of my greatest pleasures has been to see Star Wars passed from one generation to the next. “It’s now time for me to pass Star Wars on to a new generation of filmmakers. I’ve always believed that Star Wars could live beyond me, and I thought it was important to set up the transition during my lifetime. I’m confident that with Lucasfilm under the leadership of Kathleen Kennedy, and having a new home within the Disney organization, Star Wars will certainly live on and flourish for many generations to come.” It’s really happening, movie fans. America’s Got Talent Results: Who’s In?

The votes were in. The eliminations were announced. The tension was palpable on America’s Got Talent last night. Read on for a rundown of who advanced and who is going home… Elimination 1 – Music When Nick Cannon called the first three acts, it was clear who was safe. In comparison to the other two, Shanice & Maurice were the only ones that the judges even gave positive feedback to with their live performance. Harkening back to how good one was in Vegas won’t help a public that may have only tuned in this week. The obvious point is that all these acts can’t have an off week like American Idol contestants can because we see them once in the quarterfinals. Michael Nejad was compared to the vacuum cleaner he played. Nikki chose a very sleepy song. While Shanice & Maurice picked a song that was from Pearl Harbor, the message worked perfectly for a father/daughter team. Out: Michael Nejad, Nikki Jensen In: Shanice & Maurice Elimination 2 – Dancers The biggest issue I have with 787 Crew was that it is repetitive. If you ever watched ABDC, it used that breaking circle choreography then as well. It doesn’t help that Puerto Rico has such a small voting block that they couldn’t really support him. For me child acts tend to be wild cards. In Vegas, all the young singers trumped the Female Vocalist category including Nikki Jensen. Lil Starr could have made it through on another week with a song that wasn’t LMFAO but it also didn’t help that she went fourth. If she went tenth, she could have been clumped with the talented end acts. That being said, The Scott Brothers are great at what they do and floating hat trick, while kind of easy (you twirl your fingers around a hat), showed the variety that they needed to advance. Out: 787 Crew, Lil Starr In: The Scott Brothers Elimination 3 – Novelty This one was a landslide for David Garibaldi & his CMYK’s which gives me hope for an artist. I thought that Season 5’s Maricar was innovative as she tried to paint underwater (or sexily paint Catwoman), but she lacked the dynamic of the stage that the CMYK’s provide. There was nothing wrong necessarily about the Stunt Team, but the production camera shots didn’t do them justice at all. If The Scott Brothers chose only a background video (no fog, lasers, shooting smoke), then the stunt team should have focused on stunts.

Happy Birthday United States, The Situation and Malia Obama!

The United States of America turns 236 years old today. That’s quite the milestone. But a couple other big names also celebrate birthdays, and each also represents the greatness of the country in which we all reside. First, there’s Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, a man solely famous for his abdominal muscles, tolerance for alcohol ( rehab stint not withstanding) and unusual vocabulary. He turns 30 today and we’d have to imagine there’s a lot of gym, some tanning and also a bit of laundry in his future. Where else would someone like this become a millionaire? Take that, France! Then there’s Malia Obama, newly 14 and the daughter of the first African-American President in our history. Her father is biracial and was raised in a poor household in Hawaii. Love him or think he’s the second coming of Karl Marx, Barack Obama represents the American dream. So put down that firework, raise your Budweiser and toast the United States, The Situation and Malia today. Here’s to hoping the Mayans were wrong and we’re all around to honor year number 237.

Kim Kardashian Covers InStyle, Still Believes in Love

Kim Kardashian graces the August cover of InStyle and you simply won’t believe all the things tells the magazine about her marriage to Kris Humphries and her relationship with Kanye West. Okay, maybe you will. “I’ve always believed in love,” Kardashian says for the 97th time, reciting the same lines about her divorce written months ago by some PR firm. “I haven’t always been so lucky, but I still do believe in it.. I loved this person, it just wasn’t the right situation for me. I try to hold my head up high and live my life.” And wear really ridiculous fashion whenever possible. Kim, of course, is now dating Kanye, at least in public. She’s hopeful it will last because her mother says she needs to pretend she can commit the two have been close for years. “We’ve had a deep friendship for so long and that’s the start of a really good relationship.” But will Kardashian and West be walking down the aisle any time soon, as tabloids have alleged? Probably, the former says, though that could change at any time if E! producers change their mind . “It has taught me to take things slow,” she said of her second marriage. “I’ve always been the type to fall in love fast and, with every boyfriend, I plan out my wedding in my head.”
