Sean “Diddy ” Combs has saved the Boys & Girls Club of Harlem. The hip hop mogul isn’t being mentioned in the media for his ignorant antics this week. He is giving back to the community with a contribution that will save the organization. According to XXL Magazine, Diddy’s donation was right on time. There had been some changes to the Club’s budget for operations due to federal, state and private funding. Boys and Girls Club of Harlem board member, Willie C. Bentley, Jr. said in a statement. “Mr. Combs’ contribution comes at a time when we were faced with the possibility of eliminating existing programs and/or club sites. 100% of Mr. Combs’ contribution will go directly to the young people, and provide educational, recreational and social enrichment programs allowing us to move forward as a club, uninterrupted.” RELATED: Diddy Apologizes For Compound Rant: Blame It On The Ciroc? According to Nielsen Soundscan, R.E.D sold 98,000 copies in it’s first week making it his fourth album to debut at number one. Much has already been written elsewhere about Ashley Judd’s recent comments in her new book where she says that hip-hop culture is rape culture. While we don’t deny that hip-hop has (more than) its share of misogyny, it’s not limited to hip-hop music. Judd, an actress who appeared in films like Kiss The Girls and Double Jeopardy , needs to look no further than her own Hollywood culture for a much longer-running display of violence and misogynistic attitudes towards women. We stumbled across this supercut of scenes from movies featuring men slapping women dating back to 1931′s The Public Enemy . Joan Rivers has just been canceled from a scheduled visit FOX & Friends, and she believes her recent comments blasting Sarah Palin are the reason why. Rivers said she partially blamed the Arizona shootings on Palin, who she feels is “stupid” and “a threat.” Possibly taking this a tad far, aren’t we Joan? As her war of words with Joy Behar continued to escalate, Jersey Shore star Snooki decided to be the bigger person (for the first time in the 4’9″ pip squeak’s life). On the Wendy Williams Show earlier in the week, Snooki apologized for tangling with The View host. Wednesday, Behar officially accepted Snooki’s mea culpa. Joy’s amusing response, in light of Snooki’s drunken antics this week: “I found the apology quite sobering – maybe that’s not the right word.” Watch it here … Snooki Apologizes to Joy Behar The bad blood started when Joy admitted on air that she has a “visceral reaction” to Snooki, who reminds her of kids who teased her when she was young. She went on to berate the MTV star many more times, and recently, Snooki and JWoww fired back in video clip mocking Behar and The View . Snooki ended it today, though, calling herself “a big fan of The View and Barbara Walters,” before saying, “I’m sorry.” Joy and Babs graciously accepted.
