Source: NurPhoto / Getty Apple’s TV Streaming service has been one of the tech giants worst kept secrets, but it looks like the company is finally gonna spill on the beans during its recently announced March 25 event. On Monday (March 11), Apple Inc invited media to the to the Steve Jobs theater located on its Cupertino, California campus where it is expected the tech company unveils its long-awaited TV streaming and video service. In the invite, it doesn’t explicitly state what will be shown during the event but the one line “it’s show time” has tech enthusiasts and Apple fans all believing that Apple is making the long-rumored announcement. Apple has been making sure that when it does finally launch its streaming service that it will hit the ground running. The company has spent $2 billion to ensure it will have top-notch content luring big names like Oprah Winfrey , Shonda Rhimes, Jennifer Anniston, Reese Witherspoon and interesting enough streaming hater Steven Spielberg. On top of the original programming, Apple will reportedly be reselling subscription to services Viacom Inc, Lionsgate Entertainment Corp and CBS Corporation. The company is currently in discussions with HBO according to sources close to the matter and is planning on reselling TV channel subscriptions just like Amazon example who gets a cut of the sales that the Prime Video Service sells to users. Apple’s TV service is expected to launch globally which should put it in direct competition with streaming giants like Netflix and Amazon Prime Video. Tim Cook speaking on the matter during an investor call back in January is very optimistic feeling that it will speed up the fall of cable with plenty opting to cut the cord. With iPhone sales dipping for the first time, Apple is hoping its new TV service will help those numbers significantly. Meghan Markle is definitely getting the royal treatment when it comes to her baby shower. But rather than an over the top evening filled with hot tea and hats, the Duchess made a getaway to the Big Apple to spend some quality time with her closest, non-British besties. And we don’t blame her. According to multiple outlets, Meghan has been in NYC over the past couple of days celebrating the upcoming arrival of her and Prince Harry’s first child who is due this Spring. And Meghan’s pals deserve an award for their wondrous party planning skills. The shower is reportedly being held in a $75,000 suite at The Mark Hotel, which is known as “New York’s most boldly lavish hotel” located in the heart of Manhattan. And the head chef at the 5-star resort happens to be none other than world-renowned culinary master Jean-Georges Vongerichten. But the only thing better than the food…the guest list! A-list celebrities filed into the hotel to greet the royal, including Amal Clooney, Serena Williams, Gayle King, Meghan’s wedding makeup artist Daniel Martin, former Suits star Abigail Spencer, Toronto-based stylist Jessica Mulroney, and designer (and Meghan and Harry’s matchmaker) Misha Nonoo, according to People . But Serena and Amal are footing the bill as they are rumored to be the ones hosting the extravagant party. And it wasn’t just their sophisticated chic fashion the photographers were busy capturing, but rather a giant cotton candy machine being wheeled into the hotel! Meghan reportedly has been known to spoil her friends and co-workers with special treats. Brendan McLoughlin is probably very happy that he’s now married to Miranda Lambert. But the heretofore unknown police officer is probably less than thrilled that his newfound fame has opened up his closet to the public… … especially when that closest is allegedly filled with a pretty huge skeleton. McLoughlin has found himself all over the news of late because Lambert stunned Instagram followers on Sunday when she announced that she actually married this random person. The country superstar has never once uttered his name prior to this revealing post, but then shared two photos from her wedding day over the weekend and wrote as a caption to them both: In honor of Valentine’s Day I wanted to share some news. Follow-up reports have since confirmed that Lambert and McLoughlin got married on January 26 in Tennessee. With the Internet scrambling to learn as much as possible about this Brendan McLoughlin fella, the following has been reported: 1. McLoughlin is police officer from New York. 2. McLoughlin once created a profile on a modeling website, hoping to use turn his attractive appearance into an occupation. 3. McLoughlin is an avid runner. 4. McLoughlin is a father of a baby only just born this past November. And it’s this final fact that is now the subject of controversy. According to Us Weekly, McLoughlin was engaged to someone named Jackie Bruno last year — only to not only cheat on her, but to get the woman with whom he cheated PREGNANT. The tabloid quotes Jackie’s mother, Carol, is relaying this story to its readers. “She was engaged to Brendan and he cheated on her and got another girl pregnant,” Carol told Us . “It’s all true.” If this allegation is valid, then the child born just three months ago to McLoughlin belongs to his mistress, which would explain why he was able to move on so quickly to Lambert. Radar Online has alleged that Lambert and McLoughlin met a mere three days before the latter became a father. They crossed paths in early November when Lambert was in town to play a song on Good Morning America and McLoughlin was assigned to the South Midtown Precinct in The Big Apple at the time. Less than a week later, Kaihla Rettinger reportedly gave birth to her and Brendan’s baby, a boy named Landon. The cop reportedly posted a since-deleted photo, where he’s cradling his newborn and next to which he wrote: “Blessed to have a healthy son. Jennifer Lawrence has struck a deal with a very special high-end art dealer: She has agreed to marry him! Indeed, according to multiple outlets, the Oscar-winning actress is now engaged to someone named Cooke Maroney. (We guess she isn’t so gross after all, huh, Lala Kent? ) The 28-year old actress was spotted out and about in New York City over the weekend wearing what Page Six described as a “massive ring” while dining at Raoul’s, an upscale French restaurant. “It was a giant rock. They seemed like they were celebrating and people were talking about it,” a source told this section of The New York Post, adding: “The ring was very noticeable. They were sitting back in a corner. She was wearing a cute black dress with white polka dots.” A few days prior to this outing, Lawrence and Maroney were seen in The Big Apple’s West Village, also looking like two people very much in love. Onika admitted that while yes, they really do have sex four times a day , their relationship is much deeper than that. I’m happy now with or without a man, but it just so happens the n*gga in my life, he’s known me since I was 14. He knows the real me, I don’t have to pretend. You try to let the FT decline itself, then all of a sudden you hear, “hello?” That’s right. There’s an Apple bug that lets you listen in on people you call, even when they don’t pick up the phone. And it’s a real bug, too. All you have to do is place a video call to someone from your iPhone using Apple’s FaceTime app. Then before they pick up, use the menu option to add somebody else to the call and, and add yourself to the call. It’s a big deal, and it gets a little worse. According to The Verge , if the person you’re calling tries to end it by tapping the power button on their phone, it sends video but no audio. That means the person calling you can see a video of you or your surroundings as if you’d answered the call. Apparently this only happens when trying to use Facetime group feature, so the company has deactivated Group FaceTime to prevent people from exploiting the bug before it releases a fix. An Apple spokesperson told CNBC , “We’re aware of this issue and we have identified a fix that will be released in a software update later this week.” The bug has folks big bugging and paranoid about FT’ing people now. Boy that shit is VERY unsafe.” @TrvpCharlie made a good point too, “Good thing the #facetime bug is only for audio. Imagine ignoring someone’s FT and they text you “woooooow, you just gonna watch me call you with your crooked ass wig?!” Ironically, lots of communication issues could arise in relationships thanks to the bug. Future just dropped his “The WIZRD” album and as part of the rollout, he stopped by Beats 1 on Apple Music . While there for FreeBandz Radio he spoke to Big Bank Black about a number of traptastic things; his new project, his rise to stardom and even that time he gave rapper YC the track “Racks” purposely, to jumpstart his own career. Things got especially interesting however when Future was asked to speak on his ex and her Seattle Seahawks husband. According to the Astronaut rapper, he has “no feelings” for Russell because he’s “controlled by Ciara.” According to Future, Russell should step up and be a “man” and tell Ciara to stop mentioning his name in public. “He do exactly what she tell him to do! II feel like he not being a man in that position,” said Future. “He not tellin’ her, ‘Chill out with that on the internet. Don’t even talk to him. I’m your husband! You better not even bring Future’s name up!’ If that was me, she couldn’t even bring his name up,” he added. “She know that. She couldn’t even bring her exes’ names up. I don’t care what they gave you […] Don’t bring their names up in an interview, no! Don’t give that s**t no energy. It’s about me! I’m taking care of everything!” Future also added that he thinks Russell should’ve stopped Ciara from taking him to court and revealed that he declined Ciara’s invitation to meet him. “He think ‘oh you should go to court’—no! Back in October Selena Gomez checked into rehab following what’s been described as an “emotional breakdown.” Last week, Selena was spotted for the first time since leaving treatment. Fans were delighted to see that Selena looked happy and healthy. But some were puzzled by the presence of a woman who was not a known member of Selena’s entourage, but who seemed to be with the singer at all times. “Selena has a life coach with her at all times now,” a source close to the situation tells Radar Online, But while the full-time companion has been described by some as a sobriety coach, Radar’s insider is quick to point out that the unidentified woman actually plays an even more important role in Gomez’s life: “It’s not like a sober coach, because Selena’s issues are much greater than just alcohol,” says the source. While Selena’s mental health is reportedly on the upswing these days, those closest to the singer strongly encouraged her to hire a life coach for this early stage of her recovery process. Family and management team “wanted someone to be there for her at all times,” says the insider. Fortunately, Selena was able to choose her new companion herself, and it seems she’s quite pleased with her choice. “Selena selected her life coach … She is doing well right now,” the source claims. In addition to talking through her issues with her life coach, Selena is reportedly “going to therapy, working with a psychologist, and just trying to stay real active.” In addition to her struggles with depression and anxiety, Gomez is battling a number of physical health issues, including Lupus. Selena underwent a kidney transplant in 2017, and she was recently hospitalized for a low white blood cell count. As is often the case with this sort of thing, there’s been much speculation about what caused Selena’s breakdown. Some have attributed it to her health issues, while others claim Justin Bieber’s marriage to Hailey Baldwin sent Selena into a downward spiral. In all likelihood, it was a confluence of factors — including the vagaries of her brain chemistry — that drove Selena to seek help. We’re glad she did, and we wish her all the best in her continued recovery.
