The model who welcomed a baby with former baller Matt Barnes shared a sweet photo of Matt kissing her and holding their son Ashton Joseph Barnes who was born last week. “I couldn’t have done it without you my Love You talked me through every push…held my hand…and said exactly what I needed to hear to get our little man here ,” wrote Anansa. These two are clearly in LOVE. We hear Matt and Anansa previously dated in college before rekindling their flame. Anansa’s mom Beverly Johnson also shared a video of her other grandkids singing to Ashton. How precious is little Ashton Joseph Barnes?
Be honest, at one point in time, you thought about cursing out your co-workers too. Before quitting his job at Walmart, one Grand Prairie teen did just that. Jackson Racicot dialed into the intercom system of the department store and let shopper and fellow employees know just how fed up he was with working there. The 17-year ranted, I’ve been a loyal employee here for a year and a half and I’m sick of all the bulls—t, bogus write-ups and my job. F*** management, f*** this job and f*** Walmart. Walmart released a statement on Friday, saying: “We are aware of the video circulating online and are disappointed by this incident. Respect for all individuals including our associates and customers is a core value at Walmart. We are looking into this matter and will address it internally as required.” Did Racicot take it too far — or does he have a point?
Splash News/Getty Vic Mensa Adresses BET Cypher Freestyle About XXXtentacion Vic Mensa apparently had some choice words for recently deceased rapper XXXtentacion during his BET Hip Hop cypher over the weekend. While his exact words remain unclear until the segment airs on BET on October 16, whatever he said about the slain rapper definitely offended some of his friends and associates…not to mention the fact that X’s own mother was seated in the audience to hear his critique of her son’s actions in life. Granted, Vic holds some deep convictions about violence against women and the intense domestic abuse charges that were brought against X by a former girlfriend while he was alive. As such, Vic chose to speak his mind during his alotted bars. To explain himself, he basically gave all of X’s rabid teen fans a “sorry, not sorry” response on what he had to say…but offered sincere condolences to the rapper’s mother for her loss, and emphasized that he was not aware that she would be in attendance. Protect women. Domestic & sexual abuse are not excusable because you have talent or you are troubled. With that said I was not aware his mother would be in attendance & I offer her my deepest condolences. However, to further prove his original point, he included a few of the…colorful retaliatory comments X’s die hard fans have been leaving for one of his associates ever since news broke that he “dared” speak ill of the rapper. this is the culture that promoting violence against women in music creates. these are messages to the director of my CHARITY IN CHICAGO. these kids are taught that this mentality is ok by their abusive heroes and normalize this shit. I CALL BS! People, particularly the young, have a tendency to idolize and blindly defend their faves regardless of WHAT information comes out about them or their actions. It’s not surprising that Vic is getting these sorts of responses to his comments, despite the fact that 98% of those clapping back have no clue what he actually said. Today (June 23), the Harlem rapper took to Instagram to honor the mother of his son, who just graduated high school, and it was all types of heartwarming. Cam is a proud papa as his son—the same little dude from the Come Home With Me cover—is heading to college. But his IG post was to salute and honor his son’s mother, Toy, who he credits for the kid’s success, as well as his sense of style. “A Eastside story: so the first week When I got to 7th grade, I seen this girl that I automatically loved. She was cute, had swag, and fly jewelry. I found out her name was Toy and she was a grade ahead of me. And she was tuff. I mean could beat up boys, take it to the guns etc. I was like… what kind of 8th grader is this?!,” wrote Cam with a pic of the teenaged couple. He went on to detail how Toy got him fly, buying him Gucci gear, chains, and how until this day he’s not sure why. Considering how Cam loves to be a trendsetter, him giving kudos out like this is major. However, Cam admitted being Killa Cam was the doom of their romantic relationship. “When she became a junior in high school I noticed a big changed in her. She took school more serious and became a honor roll student. Went on to graduate from St. John’s, masters from Delaware st, and another masters back at St. John’s. And also the mother of my son.. We ended up breaking up when I turned about 26 (I think) because of my cheating, lying and trying to peruse a music career that she wanted nothing to do with. She wanted me to go to school and we live a family life. But she understood my vision but she wasn’t going to be a part of it.” Fast forward, and their son is a high school graduate, and the kid is so thorough, he wanted his dad to give his mother a gift for the milestone. “I didn’t have a father in my life so I could never tell my son no to anything. But because of her our son had 5 full academic scholarship offers. and she hates social media. she’s doesn’t have a page etc. So I asked my son.. what kind of car u want for graduating? He said “dad I don’t want a car yet. After I get my associates degree then I’ll rock. But we should get mom a new car. She likes that new Range Rover velar.” I said “WORD!!” So Cam’rom got her that Range Rover, and some new Gucci gear, too. How real is that? Big up to co-parenting. WENN Yo Gotti Should Have Known This Response Was Coming Beside having a huge single, Yo Gotti has mostly been in the news for his alleged kerfuffle with fellow Memphis rapper Young Dolph . Following Dolph getting shot again this week, jokes were flying at Gotti’s expense over the fact that his people are reportedly take trying Dolph’s life, and keep missing. Gotti was initially a person of interest for the shooting but was released when they arrested one of his associates (who Yo Gotti has previously been arrested with years back). In a time like this, one has to be especially careful with how they use social media….but apparently nobody gave Gotti that memo. He put a picture up on Instagram with a caption prompting some fan interaction: “Tryna Name My NEXT ALBUM… #NEEDideas #Comment ” Just like any logical person would expect, almost every reply is about Young Dolph and Yo Gotti’s inability to take his life. Safe to say Apollo Nida shouldn’t compare himself to T.I. if he’s at all smart, because the rapper and one of his associates just tore him a new one. The background: Nida, who’s married to The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Phaedra Parks, pleaded guilty to fraud and identity theft earlier this week. In addition to Apollo Nida pleading guilty , he agreed – likely in exchange for sentencing leniency – to become a federal informant and help nail other crooks. Apollo is a snitch, in other words. A rat. T.I. Rips Apollo Nida Where does T.I. fit in? Because when the terms of Apollo’s plea deal were published, Nida Tweeted that T.I. and Michael Vick signed similar “snitching” deals. Let’s just say T.I. took issue with that. He and his boy Killer Mike (you don’t want to mess with a guy named Killer Mike, just saying) caught up with Nida in a parking lot Friday to discuss it. No one came to blows, but parts of the conversation were recorded and it was made abundantly clear to Apollo that he best not speak of T.I. ever again. T.I. told Nida that their cases were not similar (he’s correct, the rapper’s plea deal on gun charges does not include any informant activity) and to shut his yap. Nida deleted the tweet. Smart move, to put it mildly. The prison sentence he’s likely looking at may end up looking like a walk in the park compared to what might occur if he accuses T.I. of being a rat again.
