Audrey Roloff and Jeremy Roloff drove a metaphorical dagger through the hearts of fans. They have quit Little People, Big World . They don't want to be reality stars. However, Audrey and Jeremy do have a new podcast , titled “Behind The Scenes.” In the audio series' second-ever episode, Auj and Jer explain the real reasons for which they quit the show. They have a whole list, folks. Some of those reasons are not surprising. Others are. But they have some very good news for fans who are eager to see them (and their precious baby) on camera again. Take a look: 1. Auj and Jer have a podcast The second episode is titled “Why We Left the Show.” 2. Jeremy spent about half of his life on Little People, Big World And, as Audrey explains, the show changed over the years as the television industry evolved. 3. Reality TV became a big thing “The dynamic of the show changed for you guys [once reality TV boomed],” Audrey says. “Because it was no longer in the budget for people to sit in your living room and film all day long.” 4. That meant that the show changed, too It became less of a documemtary and focused more on being entertaining in order to remain on the air 5. Of course, the Roloffs were already famous They had appeared on major talk shows such as Good Morning America and even Oprah. 6. Audrey shares that quitting the show was always the plan “We almost didn’t film our wedding,” she reveals. “We almost made the decision to stop then, five years ago.” View Slideshow
In August, Kendra Wilkinson was in a hurry to get divorced from Hank Baskett so that she could once again feel comfortable going out to get laid. Divorces can take a while, but not forever — and this week she revealed that she has signed her divorce papers. And she even has a particular name in mind for the man she’d like to bang next. On Monday, Kendra Wilkinson took to Twitter to make a very bittersweet announcement. “Signed my last divorce paper Friday,” Kendra reveals. She goes on to share that the experience was “Brutal.” “I gave it all i got,” Kendra adds. She then affirms that she “Truly did.” It is our understanding that she is referring to having given mediation and her marriage as much effort as she could, to no avail. Kendra’s tweet continues as she expresses pride in having endured this painful divorce and followed it through to the end. “I’m beyond proud of myself!!” Kendra exclaims. She makes it clear that she “Fought to save” her marriage to Hank “’til the last second.” “Oh well,” she says with a degree of resignation but also of acceptance. “Life goes on.” Kendra then adopts a cavalier tone, ending her tweet with: “Bye lol.” Sometimes, all that you can do is shrug your shoulders and move on. When a fan responded: “Now it’s time to go to Vegas and celebrate properly by grinding up on a stripper,” Kendra liked the idea. “Omg. LOL,” Kendra tweeted. “Let’s skip the show go to champagne room tho.” As interested as she was feeling in champagne, Kendra did admit that she’s up to get back in the saddle, so to speak. “My ho side is about to come out and play so hard,” Kendra confessed. Good for her. One fan even had one very specific idea about where Kendra’s next romantic adventures should take her. “Elon Musk is single,” the fan tweeted, adding a heart eyes emoji. Elon Musk is an eccentric billionaire best known for Tesla Motors, launching a car into space, and for having his stock tank after Azealia Banks wandered around in his house. He has dated celebrities like Grimes (which is how we all found out that she’s 30) and Amber Heard. Kendra admits: “Actually have a crush on him. Lmao. Hook me up.” Some celebrity divorces after over in days. Others take years. What caused Kendra and Hank’s to stretch on for the better part of this year was simple: their children. Kendra and Hank have two young, beautiful children who mean the world to them. So naturally, figuring out things like custody was massively important, and it made the process drag on a little longer than it might have. Plus, as Kendra mentioned, she was hoping that their marriage could be salvaged. Kendra and Hank began the divorce process this spring, after weeks of what we can only describe as teasing the split on social media. Ultimately, their marriage’s fate may have been sealed the day of Hank’s alleged extramarital handjob . But in the end, it seems that they were just no longer getting along. When parents are fighting, it’s not good for the couple and it’s not good for the children, either. It’s good that they’ve been able to move on for the sake of their family. We hope that Kendra finds the happiness that she seeks. Ideally not with Elon Musk, though. She can do better — just maybe not richer. We have some good news, Little People, Big World fans: You may not need to say goodbye to Jeremy and Audrey Roloff after all. Back in July, of course, the beloved twosome stunned fans of this TLC series by announcing they would not be returning for Season 14 . Jeremy said in his statement that this decision had actually been reached about a year earlier, telling followers on Instagram: It has been an amazing run, and I can’t say thank you enough to all of you who have watched and supported us along the ride. We have the most loyal fans on TV and we appreciate every one of you. You are what made doing this so fun. We will still be supporting the family as they carry the #LPBW torch onward. This is a decision concerning Audrey and me specifically – the show must go on. And Matt has now confirmed as much: the show WILL be going on. The patriarch tells Soap Dirt that filming for Season 14 is underway, and that viewers likely have actually NOT seen the last of Jeremy and Audrey. Cameras were on hand for Matt’s recent birthday party, for example, and these two were in attendance, so… “that’s a little tip for you there,” Matt said. He explained that Jeremy and Audrey are not on the “filming schedule,” but they are very much around at times and aren’t about to hide from TLC. “They’ll participate in the family events,” he says simply. That’s nice to know, isn’t it? Roloff admitted in this same interview that mentioned that his son and daughter-in-law dropping out of the show was quite a “twist to the whole thing, but TLC decided to go forward. And why not, he continues? “They’ve got Zach and Tori, and Amy and myself” as cast members, even noting “Caryn and Chris” in a reference to his girlfriend, Caryn Chandler, and Amy Roloff’s boyfriend, Chris Marek (below). It sounds as if both will have significant roles on Season 14. As for when new episodes may air? Matt doesn’t know. He says he heard the spring at one point, but it’s possible he and his loved ones may be back on our small screens prior to that. Either way, they remain a huge part of our lives, frequently sharing photos and messages on social media. For example, did you see how the Roloff celebrated the start of pumpking season at their farm this week? Click below to find out! Former Little People, Big World stars Audrey and Jeremy Roloff have shared their next career move , but they’re not all business. Right after Jeremy admitted that their marriage has been “tough” in recent months, Audrey has taken to social media to gush about their anniversary trip. And yes, there are photos of these two lovebirds — and of Jer’s reaction to Auj’s gift! “It was my turn to plan our anniversary this year,” Audrey reveals in a lengthy Instagram post. “We started switching off because we like surprising each other,” she explains. “And it was just easier for managing our expectations.” “I booked us a night (our first night away from Ember) at the The Sentinel Hotel where we stayed on our wedding night 4 years ago,” Audrey shares.. “I remember when we checked in on our wedding night,” she continues. “Jer and I flipped out because there was a typewriter in the entry way.” You don’t need to take her word for it — here is Jeremy’s typewriter-fueled excitement face. “The typewriter holds a special meaning in our love story,” Auj explains. “Jeremy sent me hand typed letters throughout our years of long distance, he asked me to be his wife on the typewriter.” “And,” she continues. “Our typewriter has been on display in every home we’ve ever lived in.” Audrey says that having one on display serves the purpose of “reminding and inspiring us to write a love story worth reading.” “I called ahead of time and made a request for a special anniversary message to be displayed on the typewriter upon our arrival,” Auj reveals. The photo of Jer’s smiling face is his response to seeing the poem that was typed out on the device. Cute! “We had the most enchanting evening in Portland,” Auj says. “And I finally got to experience the Multnomah Whiskey Library.” “Of course we ended the evening reading our anniversary letters,” Audrey continues. “The ones we wrote to each other on our anniversary last year.” “It’s our favorite anniversary tradition,” she shares. Naturally, Audrey plugs their marriage blog: “You can read about some of our other favorites in our most recent post on @beating50.” The name, of course, refers to their desire to beat the odds that suggest that at least half of all couples get divorced. “Jer and I celebrate our anniversary as if it’s a national holiday,” Auj gushes. She says: “We are firm believers that love, of all things, should especially be celebrated.” “So no matter how inconvienent,” she writes. “We are inentional about carve out time on September 20th to reminisce the past year, dream for the future, and recommit to the promises made on our wedding day.” “And,” Auj continues. “As our favorite quote from our favorite book says… ‘If it’s half as good as the half we’ve known, here’s Hail! to the rest of the road.'” “Happy anniversary Farmer,” Audrey says. “Let’s keep living” As we mentioned, on their actual anniversary of September 20, Jeremy wrote a tribute to his wife and marriage but made an admission. “These have been tough months recently,” Jer wrote. “But hard work always pays off.” He gushed: “I love you and I love writing a love story with you.” Whatever their recent trials, whether it’s finding out how to stay afloat without the show, dealing with family drama, Auj’s alleged feud with Jeremy’s brother, or hidden marital squabbles, things seem okay for them. It’s great that they’re celebrating their anniversary like this — but we’re sure that they’re looking forward to being reunited with precious baby Ember. Okay, look, Jeremy and Audrey Roloff. We need to have a few words with you… You guys really need to stop gushing so perfectly and romantically about each other online, okay?!? Because it’s making the rest of us look bad by comparison! Like, how were we suppose to compete with Audrey’s Father’s Day message to Jeremy , the one in which she referred to her soulmate as a “Godly husband and father?” Similarly, Jeremy has now gone above and beyond on the occasion of Audrey’s 27th birthday. To pay tribute to his wife of four years, Jeremy shared the following precious picture of himself and Audrey yesterday on Instagram: Then, he went ahead and made us cry ALL the tears by including with it a caption that reads: You are a beautiful creation, an amazing wife, and a great mom. I love your self acceptance and desire for self growth – to be you and only you, while also seeking who you were made to be. Thanks for grounding me, taking care of me, and loving me so well. Jeremy went on to list all the ways in which he enjoys spending time with his better half: Working with you is fun. Playing with you is a joy. And raising a kid with you is an honor. There’s no one else I’d rather do life with! “If it’s half as good as the half we’ve known, here’s Hail! to the rest of the road.” I love you babe! Seriously, do birthday tributes get any more precious than that? Jeremy and Audrey, of course, have been in the news of late for a different reason. They are leaving Little People, Big World. They will not be appearing on future episodes, as Jeremy announced just a few days ago . “After 14 years, over 300 episodes, and 17 seasons, the time has come,” Jeremy wrote, much to our chagrin, prior to adding: “A year ago I made the decision that this season would be our last. It has been an amazing run, and I can’t say thank you enough to all of you who have watched and supported us along the ride. “We have the most loyal fans on TV and we appreciate every one of you. You are what made doing this so fun. “We will still be supporting the family as they carry the #LPBW torch onward. This is a decision concerning Audrey and me specifically – the show must go on!” Audrey then chimed in and wrote the following on her Instagram page: “I am so thankful for the encouragement, kindness, and support that each of you have shown to our family. We are forever grateful for the run we’ve had. “Excited to focus on what we feel the Lord is calling us to!” With a memoir on the way from the couple and their blog/business, Beating 50 Percent, up and very much running, we’ll still be seeing plenty of Audrey and Jeremy down the line. But will you keep watching Little People, Big World in their absence? View Slideshow: Audrey and Jeremy Roloff: 19 Moments We’ll Never, Ever Forget
When Jeremy and Audrey Roloff announced that they were quitting Little People, Big World , some fans feared that Tori and Zach Roloff would quit, too . The first piece of good news is that they’re not. Auj and Jer may be leaving, but most of their family is sticking with the show. The second piece of good news is that we now know when the series is returning. This season of Little People, Big World has come to a close. But, while discussing her son Jeremy and his wife Audrey’s departure from the series, family matriarch Amy Roloff dished on when fans can look forward to seeing the next season. “Season 14 is being filmed right now,” Amy reveals. Remember, it can take days to film even one episode of a reality show. Amy then says that she expects that Season 14 “will air late this season or spring.” We think that, by “season,” she meant to say year . Of course, we already knew that they were filming again. Tori Roloff has made sure that fans are aware that the cameras and producers are on Roloff Farms, following the family members who are still part of the show. Tori shared multiple behind-the-scenes glimpses at her and her husband, back at work filming for Little People, Big World . When a couple of a show’s stars announce that they’re moving on to different pastures, it’s important for remaining cast members to reassure fans that the show will continue. Nothing does that better than photographic evidence. They’re something about pictures that just feels realer to your average fan than any verbal assurances ever could. Viewers will still get to see a lot, even with the remaining Roloffs. For starters, baby Jackson Roloff will have plenty more milestones in the coming months which, we hope, will be captured on film and shared on the show. (Also, baby Jackson was recently injured while practicing walking. Poor little guy. He’s only 13 months old) We’ve seen so much of Jackson on social media, including his process of learning to swim. We can’t wait to see more of Jackson (and of course, his parents and grandparents) in Season 14! It’s not like not appearing on the show is the end of the world. As with Jacob Roloff and his fiancee, Isabel, viewers will be able to keep an eye on Audrey and Jeremy through social media. If anything, perhaps this will free Auj and Jer to post even more photos of precious little Ember Jean, since they won’t need to hold back for the show’s sake. (Some reality stars withold major life events as much as possible until they air on TV) We don’t know if she’ll actually reappear on Little People, Big World . But you can bet that she’ll spend more time with her extended family, including her slightly older cousin, Jackson. Based upon Amy’s words, it sounds like they haven’t even penciled in a precise date. But she’s been at this for 13 seasons already. If she says that the new season will premiere later this year or during the first half of next year, we’re inclined to believe her. Unlike scripted television, reality television often follows its own schedule that has more to do with the lifestyles of the stars but also the scheduling convenience of the network. Footage can sit around for months without being aired. Let’s hope that we get to see more of the Roloffs on television as soon as is reasonably possible. So … preferably this year, please. But, if need be, we can wait. View Slideshow: Audrey and Jeremy Roloff: 19 Moments We’ll Never, Ever Forget
