Josiah Duggar & Lauren Swanson: Finally Married, Still Not Allowed to Spend Time Alone

Back in June,  Josiah Duggar married Lauren Swanson got married in the sort of massive, lavish ceremony his family has become known for. Basically, Duggar kids get hitched in the Ozark equivalent of royal weddings, except instead of celebrities and foreign leaders there are dozens of bait shop proprietors in attendance. Of course, Duggar weddings have an added layer of significance due to the family’s old-fashioned views on premarital sex. When Duggar couples are pronounced man and wife and the groom kisses the bride — that’s generally the first kiss either of them has experienced. And it takes place in front of millions of TV viewers and a thousand guests, many of whom spent their morning digging for nightcrawlers. Prior to tying the knot, couples like Josiah and Lauren aren’t even permitted to spend time alone together. This is a result of the ultra-strict Duggar courtship rules that prohibit everything from hand-holding to “front hugs.” (“Side hugs” are still permitted, as there’s little chance of accidental clothed genital contact. They’ve really put a lot of thought into this stuff.) Duggar kids aren’t even allowed to use social media prior to courtship. In that sense, Josiah stands out as an anomaly. Unlike his siblings, Josiah was involved in a courtship prior to meeting his wife, and thus, the man knows his way around Instagram. And we suppose it shows when he posts epically panoramic vacation photos like the ones above. Unfortunately, in addition to showing off some breathtaking scenery, Josiah is also confirming the theory that Duggar date nights are lame AF. According to Josiah’s latest posts, he and Lauren are currently on vacation in North Carolina with her family. That’s all well and good, but it’s led many to wonder if these two ever spend any time alone together. They went from chaperoned dates to vacations with her family with nothing but a short honeymoon in between. As a Duggars, Josiah and Lauren are no doubt feeling the pressure to begin breeding. But it’s hard to see how that’s gonna happen when they’re constantly surrounded by family members. Maybe Josiah and Lauren need to sit down and explain to their parents how this whole process works. Kendra Wilkinson and Hank Baskett: Finally Divorced!

In August, Kendra Wilkinson was in a hurry to get divorced from Hank Baskett so that she could once again feel comfortable going out to get laid. Divorces can take a while, but not forever — and this week she revealed that she has signed her divorce papers. And she even has a particular name in mind for the man she’d like to bang next. On Monday, Kendra Wilkinson took to Twitter to make a very bittersweet announcement. “Signed my last divorce paper Friday,” Kendra reveals. She goes on to share that the experience was “Brutal.” “I gave it all i got,” Kendra adds. She then affirms that she “Truly did.” It is our understanding that she is referring to having given mediation and her marriage as much effort as she could, to no avail. Kendra’s tweet continues as she expresses pride in having endured this painful divorce and followed it through to the end. “I’m beyond proud of myself!!” Kendra exclaims. She makes it clear that she “Fought to save” her marriage to Hank “’til the last second.” “Oh well,” she says with a degree of resignation but also of acceptance. “Life goes on.” Kendra then adopts a cavalier tone, ending her tweet with: “Bye lol.” Sometimes, all that you can do is shrug your shoulders and move on. When a fan responded: “Now it’s time to go to Vegas and celebrate properly by grinding up on a stripper,” Kendra liked the idea. “Omg. LOL,” Kendra tweeted. “Let’s skip the show go to champagne room tho.” As interested as she was feeling in champagne, Kendra did admit that she’s up to get back in the saddle, so to speak. “My ho side is about to come out and play so hard,” Kendra confessed. Good for her. One fan even had one very specific idea about where Kendra’s next romantic adventures should take her. “Elon Musk is single,” the fan tweeted, adding a heart eyes emoji. Elon Musk is an eccentric billionaire best known for Tesla Motors, launching a car into space, and for having his stock tank  after Azealia Banks wandered around in his house. He has dated celebrities like Grimes (which is how we all found out that she’s 30) and Amber Heard. Kendra admits: “Actually have a crush on him. Lmao. Hook me up.” Some celebrity divorces after over in days. Others take years. What caused Kendra and Hank’s to stretch on for the better part of this year was simple: their children. Kendra and Hank have two young, beautiful children who mean the world to them. So naturally, figuring out things like custody was massively important, and it made the process drag on a little longer than it might have. Plus, as Kendra mentioned, she was hoping that their marriage could be salvaged. Kendra and Hank began the divorce process this spring, after weeks of what we can only describe as teasing the split on social media. Ultimately, their marriage’s fate may have been sealed the day of Hank’s alleged extramarital handjob . But in the end, it seems that they were just no longer getting along. When parents are fighting, it’s not good for the couple and it’s not good for the children, either. It’s good that they’ve been able to move on for the sake of their family. We hope that Kendra finds the happiness that she seeks. Ideally not with Elon Musk, though. She can do better — just maybe not richer. Ciara Responds to Backlash After Shaming Unmarried Women!

Even though it hasn’t even been two full years since Ciara and Russell Wilson got married , Ciara apparently feels like she’s in a place to give some very heavy-handed marriage advice. After Ciara shared some “advice” that didn’t go over very well with fans, she received quite a bit of backlash. Some believed that she was shaming women for not being married. Now, Ciara is speaking out. But we’re not sure if this is going to smooth out those ruffled feathers. Ciara seems to be one of those people who thinks that there’s one right way to do things — and it’s whatever way she happens to do them. And she’s also apparently one of those people who thinks that she can just stand above everyone else and give out advice. On Instagram, Ciara shared a video of a sermon with the quote: “Too many women want to be married, but you’re walking in the spirit of ‘girlfriend,'” a quote by the pastor who is speaking in the video, John Gray. Ciara then added to it: “#LevelUp. Don’t settle.” As you can imagine, this didn’t exactly go over well with a lot of fans. Nobody follows singers to get preached to. “Ciara’s playing a dangerous game. You should never, no matter how perfect your relationship/marriage appears to be, sit on a throne and tell people why they’re not romantically successful. You can be the queen of the ball today and have cake in your face tomorrow!” Others took issue with the pastor’s line, and the distinction that he gives between wives and girlfriends, saying: “The difference between the two is a ring and a piece of paper…this speech is a hot piece of garbage.” Others brought up Ciara’s past. People who formerly lived in glass houses still shouldn’t throw rocks. “Ciara telling women to ‘Level up’ and live ‘like a wife’ so they can b married is astounding to me. Didn’t you need grace, mercy, & compassion when you were being dragged up and down the Internet for the Future situation? How quickly ppl forget when they reach a perch of privilege.” Some, however, defended Ciara, saying that fans were hypocritical and just rejecting the advice because it wasn’t what they wanted to hear. “Y’all wanted to know how Ciara snatched a Russell Wilson, and she told y’all but now y’all mad. LMAO.” Others lashed out at how people had brought up Ciara’s past. “Ciara’s GROWTH has nothing to do with her denying her past …. Y’all heffas get mad at fellow women for trying to encourage you to do BETTER because you deserve better but you’re also upset when men degrade you. Y’all Just gotta play victim because Hoe is Life.” We think that the issue is that “girlfriend” isn’t worse than “wife,” it’s just different. A lot of her fans felt like they were being shamed. Ciara responded with an Instagram post that … well, it’s probably not going to endear her to the people who didn’t like her previous post. “I was [once] that girl wanting to be loved a certain way bit was making the wrong choices. I found myself at my lowest moment.” That sounds so sad. “I was a single mom sitting at home, and then I realized that the perfect love I was looking for was how God loves me, how He wants me to be loved, and who He was calling me to be as a mom and a woman.” A lot of folks are going to object to her describing single motherhood as her “lowest moment.” “That’s when I realized married [or] not married… I needed to love myself. #LevelUp” Self-love is a valuable thing to learn. Not everyone wants to get married now  or to get married ever , but everyone wants to love themselves. It’s not clear whether Ciara believes that Russell Wilson found her alleged godliness so attractive that he wanted to marry her, or if she believes that her current marriage is a divine reward. Maybe both? A lot of fans still Surely, if Ciara doesn’t like being mom-shamed , she shouldn’t … existence-shame women? But we should acknowledge that this is what worked for Ciara. Clearly, some fans want to know how she found her current happiness, and she’s sharing it. Just because it clearly wouldn’t work for everyone doesn’t mean that she’s wrong to share the advice, right? Peter Gunz and Amina Buddafly: It’s Finally Over!

The most dysfunctional relationship in the history of Hollywood has finally come to an end. No, Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez have not gone their separate ways. Not yet, at least. But it sounds very much as if Peter Gunz and Amina Buddafly are at last on the verge of doing so. We know this for one very simple and very straightforward reason: Both Peter and Amina posted the actual divorce papers on Instagram, with the latter taking this action first and thereby implying that she is the one who filed. “Ready, set, go…” wrote Buddafly as a caption, with Peter adding for his part: “The end…” Here is a look at the papers in question: Gunz followed up on this message by posting a photo of himself and his soon-to-be-ex-wife and making it clear that their split is amicable. “Our divorce is not ugly.. No lawyers no judges no Mediators!! Just us.. I love @aminabuddafly and the Beautiful Queens she gave me,” he wrote, concluding as follows: “Divorce in our case is not a bad thing it’s best and won’t change the support and love for her my kids and her music.. no comments necessary.” As those who watch Love & Hip Hop online (or on television) know quite well, Gunz and Buddafly have a pretty amazing history. We mean this is the most depressing/disturbing/hilarious/contentious/scandal sense of the word. Gunz and Buddafly (not their real names… we assume) got together while Peter was with Tara Wallace, the mother of a few of his kids. He basically kept having sex with both Amina and Tara over the years, more or less out in the open even. In August of 2016, the couple welcomed their second child into the world, a girl named Bronx. She was born not long after Gunz and Wallace also had a kid together, with Bronx marking Peter’s 10th child overall. That is not a misprint. Peeter Gunz is the father of 10 kids. And neither Buddafly nor Wallace seemed to really care that their baby daddy was also someone else’s simultaneous baby daddy. Wrote Buddafly to all the haters two years ago, while carrying one of Peter’s two fetuses at the time: “I Got pregnant again because I made love to the man I love… Now y’all can debate on why we did it until ya hair turns grey… “@petergunz174 I love you 4ever and I will never be scared to show or say it because of people.” Well, not so much 4ever , we guess. Not after this divorce news. Then again, it would surprise no one at all if Amina and Peter also announced in a few months that they’re expecting another baby together. That’s just how they roll. Amy Roloff & Chris Marek: Are Fans Finally Accepting This Couple?

Little People, Big World fans seem to love giving Amy Roloff a hard time, whether it’s accusing her of “exploiting” her son Jacob or asking if she banned her ex Matt Roloff from family gatherings . But every hater’s favorite topic seems to be her boyfriend, Chris Marek. They either thing that she’s betraying Matt by dating again or that she’s some love-blind fool under Chris’ sway. But Amy Roloff shared this sweet selfie, and it looks like some minds are finally changing about Amy’s “second act.” Amy Roloff provided a little context behind this sweet selfie with her caption: “Changing it up. Chris took the selfie.” [smiling emoji] We’d say that he did a pretty good job with that selfie. Amy continues: “Date night. Thai food and seeing a local play in downtown Hillsboro. Love it! #amyssecondactcontinues #datenightsaregreat #lovelocal” That sounds like such a nice evening! Amy Roloff received some really positive comments from fans. “Great couple thanks for sharing with us.” That one’s pretty run-of-the-mill, and Amy does get positive comments like it a lot. “I love Thai food! Sounds like a great evening, have fun!” Thai food is great. (In fact, Amy’s post reminded me to ask some friends if our dinner tonight should be Thai) Another fan defended Amy from the hate that she so often receives. “Great picture. You deserve to be happy in spite if all the rubbish haters post.” Most significantly, it seems that Amy’s happiness has won over one of her relationship’s detractors: “Amy, I always wanted you to get back together with Matt, but now that I see you with Chris, you look incredibly HAPPY. That is what is important!!!” Sadly, not everyone who follows Amy Roloff has seen the light about her relationship. “At least the kids seem to recognize wedding vows, even if their mother gave up. My own opinion. Not hating Amy, we have to live our own lives, but too bad the parents couldn’t hold it together.” Weird to read a message by someone who thinks that divorce is a genuine wrongdoing instead of an unpleasant fact of life for, you know, half of all marriages. “Goodness, I was really praying God would restore your marriage. I hate this.” They hate what? Amy’s happiness? “Look at his face….I’m sorry I don’t trust his face and we as women should watch out for each other and boost each other up. She’s too good for him! What’s so wrong w that????” And, finally: “Chris is a creep.” We have to talk about the fans who say that they’re “just looking out” for Amy, like she’s a college freshman dating her married professor and not a grown-ass adult and grandmother who knows what she’s doing. For a long time, we’ve had the sick feeling that some of Amy’s haters who can’t stand her relationship with Chris Marek are actually concerned about a little person dating someone who isn’t disabled. Maybe, even if it’s deep down on a subconscious level, these haters don’t believe that a man of Chris’ height could find a little person attractive. That’s … a horrifying way to view the world. One of the comments under the adorable selfie seems to confirm that tragic worldview: “You saying ‘she’s happy’ is an assumption and judgement all in one. I remain leery of men taking advantage of kind ppl like Amy.” And there you have it, folks. At least some of the people who love to give Amy a hard time are concern-trolling her because they infantalize her because she’s “kind” (so, probably because she’s a little person). While we were delighted to see that a fan had come to understand that Amy’s making choices for her own happiness, it’s clear that some others haven’t yet come to understand. And that probably won’t change until they stop seeing the Roloff family matriarch as a helpless child without any judgment and see her as a real woman with real feelings. Taylor Swift and Katy Perry: Did They Finally Bury the Hatchet?!

It feels like Taylor Swift and Katy Perry have been stuck in this petty feud forever, doesn’t it? Like, yes, it has been literal years since the first became mortal enemies, but still, it’s really been dragging out. It’s been over three years now since Taylor released “Bad Blood” — and since she revealed that it was about a fellow pop star . “For years, I was never sure if we were friends or not,” Taylor said in a 2014 interview. “She would come up to me at awards shows and say something and walk away, and I would think, ‘Are we friends, or did she just give me the harshest insult of my life?'” She said that the previous year (2013 if you’re keeping up, which means that this feud is nearly five years old) “she did something so horrible” that made her realize “Oh, we’re just straight up enemies.” “It had to do with business,” she explained. “She basically tried to sabotage an entire arena tour. She tried to hire a bunch of people out from under me.” In all the time since this whole mess began, we learned what really happened: there were some backup dancers who toured with Katy, and then they toured with Taylor. Before they went on tour with Taylor, Katy told them that she’d be touring again soon too, so if they wanted to work with her again, to be sure to work that out in their contracts with Taylor. So they did, and when it was time for Katy’s tour, they left Taylor’s. That’s it. That’s what this whole dumb thing is about. Things sort of simmered for a while — they both acted shady here and there , or they did things that were perceived to be shady. But earlier this year, Katy finally retaliated by releasing a diss track of her own in “Swish Swish.” And after she released the song, she spent a whole, whole lot of time talking about Taylor. She accused her of trying to ” assassinate my character ,” and she hinted that “karma” would be coming for her. “There is the law of cause and effect,” Katy said in one interview. “You do something and there’s gonna be a reaction. And trust me, daddy, there’s gonna be a reaction.” Then, in a podcast she did to promote her new album back in June, she said that she was ” ready to let it go .” “I forgive her and I’m sorry for anything I ever did, and I hope the same from her,” she said. “I think it’s actually, like, I think it’s time.” “There are bigger fish to fry, and there are real problems in the world. You know what I’m saying? I love her, and I want the best for her.” “Maybe I don’t agree with everything she does,” she continued, “and she doesn’t agree with everything I do, but I just really, truly want to come together in a place of love and forgiveness and understanding and compassion.” And according to some new reports, it looks like they’ve finally been able to do that! Taylor has been spotted in Miami this week, filming a music video for her song, “End Game.” And according to several people who spotted her, one of her backup dancers looks a whole, whole lot like Katy. A source spoke with E! News and confirmed that Katy did film with Taylor, and that they made up while they were both in Miami. We guess we’ll see if it’s true when the video comes out, but we do know that Katy was down in Florida earlier this week on her tour, so it’s definitely possible she could have set aside time to hang with Taylor. Hope you’re ready to see a side of Kylie Jenner you’ve never seen before! No, not like that, you pervs. You may not be seeing any physical side of Kylie that you’ve never seen before ( is there a side we’ve never seen before? ), but what you are seeing is even better. It’s deeper, it’s more meaningful, and it’s a whole hell of a lot more adorable. Kylie Jenner Holds Baby Dream Kardashian It’s Kylie being the best aunt ever to little Dream Kardashian! Yeah, Kylie’s still got her boobs out, and sure, she’s looking at her phone and not at the baby, but this is still some good quality time, right? At the very least, it’s a nice change of pace from everything else she’s done lately — everything else just being nearly nude photo shoots , really. Kylie must have been spending time with little Dream to celebrate her big milestone: Saturday was Dream’s one month birthday! Look how big she’s getting! And all that hair! And those big eyes! And all that cuteness! It’s hard to believe that a whole month has already gone by since Blac Chyna have birth to this tiny, precious little human, but it’s even harder to believe that this whole entire time, Rob Kardashian has been a doting father with not one single meltdown. It all seems like — dare we say — a dream . Yes, along with this gorgeous baby, Chyna and Rob have also given the world a lifetime of stupid jokes about the poor kid’s name. This whole miracle is honestly just a gift, and a gift that keeps on giving at that. For real though, just look at this little face: If we were Kylie, we’d pull up our Snapchats and pull out our boobs so we could get some cuddles while still getting that attention, too. And if it seems like we’re devolving into a barely coherent blob of heart-eyes and ovaries and “cool, boobs!”, well, that’s because we are. Can you really blame us?
