Josiah Duggar and Lauren Swanson Welcome Rainbow Baby! See the Photo!

We’re not crying, okay? YOU’RE the ones who are crying. Okay, fine, perhaps we can all just admit to the production of many tears, considering the amazing news that has now been confirmed about Josiah Duggar and Lauren Swanson: They are first-time parents! “After a long and difficult labor, our girl arrived,” the famous couple revealed to Us Weekly on Monday afternoon. They added in this special exclusive: “When we finally got to see and hold our precious Bella Milagro all the pain instantly went away. “We can’t believe she is ours – she is so perfect!” “She definitely has lived up to her name which means, ‘beautiful miracle.’ Today we are basking in God’s goodness!” In a subsequent Instagram post, Lauren and Josiah announced the news themselves, informing followers of their newborn’s full name, along with her date and time of birth: Look who’s here! Bella Milagro Duggar was born November 8th, 2019 at 4:24 pm, weighing 6lbs 5oz and 18.5 inches long. Our hearts are so full! We are so thankful for God blessings us with such a healthy baby girl! Oh, and they included this photo! Yup. She’s perfect. The little one came into this world at 6 pounds and 5 ounces, measuring 18.5 inches in length. Her arrivial would be a miracle and a blessing under any circumstance, of course. But the Counting On stars suffered a tragic miscarriage late last year. “A couple months ago, we found out that we were expecting, but suddenly thereafter, we lost our baby,” Lauren said in a clip posted by TLC in February 2019. Said Josh in this same piece of heartbreaking footage: “It really was a hard time for our family going through this right after we got married. And all the dreams of getting to see our little one and hold it in our hands dashed before our eyes.” The pair said they to tell their story because “nobody really talks about it,” Lauren explained. “We just wanted to let y’all know that you’re not alone.” Simply devastating. In May, though, the reality stars took fans by tremendous surprise when they announced Lauren was pregnant for the second time. “We are so excited to announce that baby No. 2 is on the way!!!!” they shared on Instagram, adding at the time: “It’s hard to fully express just how grateful we are for God blessing us again with another precious gift! “So, as we rejoice of the life of our second sweet baby, we also remember our other sweet baby, Asa, in heaven.” “God is so incredibly good!” As recently as October 10, Josiah and Lauren were still paying tribute to the child they lost and to all the other children that have been lost in this heartbreaking manner. “Sending love this month to any parent who has lost a baby,” they wrote on Instagram, continuing as follows: “Losing a little life at any stage is heartbreaking and devastating and should not go unnoticed.” “For all you mamas, yes, even you mamas who’s arms have never had the chance to hold your babies-you’re a Mama! Remember, that you are loved. “You are a warrior. You are not alone. You are not forgotten.” The TLC personalities, who got married in July of 2018, aren’t the only Duggars to have welcomed a baby girl this year. Try to follow along here, but… Jessa Seewald (née Duggar) gave birth to her and Ben Seewald’s first daughter, Ivy, in May. This event was followed by Kendra Duggar‘s baby girl on November 2. And then, in literal related news, Abbie Duggar (née Burnett) and Anna Duggar (née Keller) are both currently pregnant with girls. “It’s definitely brought us closer, just to share the same feelings,” Lauren told Us Weekly back in October of sharing this experience – harrowing as it was – with her sisters-in-law. She added: “[There’s] sympathy. You have that pregnancy brain where you forget things, so [we] remind each other, ‘Oh, yeah, I need to do this before my baby comes.’ … It’s very special. Lauren Swanson: I’m SO Different From the Other Duggar Wives!

At this point, the Duggars are so famous that even people who marry into the family become minor celebrities. Of course, not every new spouse is thrilled with that development. Take Lauren Swanson, for example. Lauren married Josiah Duggar  over a year ago but thus far, she’s managed to keep a lower profile than most Duggar partners. Those who know Swanson best say that’s no accident. To say that Lauren is a bit more shy than your typical reality star would be a massive understatement. In her first video messages to fans — posted shortly after she and Josiah got engaged — Swanson spoke so quietly that many fans openly wondered if she were concealing some sort of speech impediment. (The denizens of Duggar nation are not always a kindly bunch.) To this day most fans know very little about Lauren — but that changed this week, when the mom-to-be posted a list of 11 facts about herself on Instagram. Some of the facts aren’t exactly jaw-droppers. Lauren kicks things off by revealing with that she loves Jesus with her “whole heart,” and she “grew up in central GA on a little farm”  Important parts of her life, no doubt, but nothing that’s likely to take anyone by surprise. After the introductory items, however, Lauren’s list actually gets interesting. “I am a quarter hispanic (and no I am not fluent in Spanish, but I wish I was),” Swanson continued. “My middle name (Milagro) is in Spanish, it means Miracle.” So, maybe the Duggars aren’t the whitest family in the world anymore? (Just kidding, they still are.) From there, Lauren revealed that she’s known Josiah for much longer than previously thought. “Met the Duggar family in 2010, at the ATI conference in Big Sandy, TX (so yes, I watched Josiah grow up; I remember him as the funny/talkative little kid),” she wrote. And here’s where it really gets interesting — it seems Lauren was very nearly a career woman: “I went to college when I was 16 and finished my Associate’s degree in Nursing at 18,” she wrote.  Next on the list was an equally, though considerably less impressive revelation: “My secret talent is yodeling,” she wrote. From there on out, its pretty standard stuff — Lauren plays piano and digs interior design, but her favorite pastime is hanging out with Josiah. But still — nursing, yodeling, interests that don’t involve Jesus and housework? Seems that Lauren may have a richer interior life than some folks gave her credit for. For years, we’ve been hearing that despite all of the hype about Jinger, Josiah is the real Duggar rebel , the one who resists his father’s influence at every turn. And what better way to rebel against Jim Bob than to marry a woman with no interest in being enslaved by a patriarchal cult? Jessa Duggar Shares Baby Bump Photo, Mourns Lauren Swanson Miscarriage

Counting On stars Josiah Duggar and Lauren Swanson suffered a miscarriage late last year. Jessa Duggar is pregnant and showing off her baby bump at 25 weeks, but she’s not insensitive to Lauren’s pain. In fact, she’s penned a lengthy, lengthy tribute to her sister-in-law’s loss. “Pregnancy,” Jessa’s lengthy post begins. “Such a precious gift, and definitely not something I take for granted.” “As we look forward to meeting our baby,” she writes. “We’re also feeling an exceptional amount of grief.” That grief, Jessa explains, is “over my brother Josiah and sister-in-law Lauren’s loss of their baby.” “Lauren and I shared the exact same due date,” she reveals. “We have cried so many tears, both together and apart,” Jessa shares. “My heart aches for them.” “I weep when I think of how difficult it must be for her to see me pregnant in the very stages where she would’ve been,” Jessa writes. She says that Lauren should have kept pace “right up through the baby’s due date.” “And yet, even in a flood of emotions, there are perplexities of the human heart that may cause us to want to clam up or remain silent through such a trial,” Jessa observes. “Because of this,” she says. “Many people feel like they’re walking this road alone” “It is true that speaking for the sake of filling silence is not needful and is often hurtful,” Jessa continues, waxing philosophical. “I’ve watched Lauren converse with people who have been unknowingly insensitive,” she says. “And I am amazed by her graciousness.” “I’ve heard some try to give reasons or explanations, not realizing that their unsolicited opinions might be very painful, like salt to a wound,” Jessa says. Sometimes, the words that people use to comfort only cause greater pain. “One might never know the tears you cry at night as a result of their words flowing back through your head,” Jessa expresses. “Often times, ‘I love you and I’m praying for you’ along with a hug are quite sufficient,” she suggests. Jessa emphasizes: “We do not need to fill every silence with words.” “But at the same time,” Jessa continues. “Conversations of lost dreams should never feel suppressed.” “Silence can stifle healing,” she acknowledges. “But a carefully chosen word may work to help bring life and healing to the soul.” “We must all reinforce the fact that emotions over a life lost are not something to be resisted,” she suggests. “They’re not wrong,” Jessa emphasizes. “And you should never think that for a moment.” Grief is healthy, folks. “If you’ve lost a child, know this,” Jessa writes. “YOU ARE A MAMA, and you will never cease to think about and cherish the life you carried…” “So no matter how hard or difficult the journey,” she instructs. “Please don’t feel guilt over this.” It is around this point that Jessa’s message becomes too long for her captions and spills over into her images. “You’ll never stop wondering all of the details,” Jessa notes. “From what the baby would look like, hair color, eye color, personality, etc.” “It’s only natural,” she admits. “Your tender heart just goes to show what a loving, caring person you are.” “That you care so deeply for one you were only graced [to] hold for a short time,” Jessa affirms. “My heart aches for you,” Jessa expresses. “As topics of babies or pregnancy arise in conversation.” It sounds like Jessa is dealing with a version of survivor’s guilt . “It’s likely you were already acquainted with the first trimester symptoms of nausea, food aversions, and fatigue,” Jessa says. “And,” she predicts. “You would have given anything for the opportunity to labor and deliver your baby” Jessa notes that this would be the case: “No matter how long or painful the process.” “When complaining or grumblings are verbalized over colicky babies or sleep that’s been broken up for night feedings …” she begins. She continues: “… Oh, what you wouldn’t give to be in their shoes!” “We do continue to pray that God will bless you with a baby to hold in your arms,” Jessa writes. “But,” she notes. “This is not to insinuate that having another will remove the grief over one that’s been lost.” “That life can never be replaced,” she affirms. “And will forever hold a special place in your heart.” “Lauren, you’re such a positive, life-giving soul,” Jessa praises. She notes that this continues to be true “Even in walking through such a great hardship and suffering so much loss.” “I don’t know how you can grieve through such a trial,” Jessa confesses. “And at the same time be so thoughtful to say, ‘Jess, if you ever feel too sick or tired and need some help …'” “‘Do not hesitate to text or call,'” Jessa recalls Lauren saying. “‘I would be more than happy to make a meal, watch the boys, etc.'” “That is God’s grace,” Jessa writes. “And it radiates from your life.” “We love you both so much,” she concludes. “And pray that God would continue to comfort your hearts.” A miscarriage is tough enough without a pregnant in-law who is a constant reminder of what you don’t have. It’s good of Jessa to acknowledge this with so much compassion. View Slideshow: 33 Stars Who Have Suffered a Miscarriage

Anna Duggar: SLAMMED For Letting Daughter Wear Makeup!

As the wife of the disgraced Josh Duggar, Anna Duggar has suffered considerably over the years. But there’s some disagreement among fans as to whether or not Anna is deserving of anyone’s sympathy. Some say Anna married a known child molester , proceeded to welcome five children with him, and is therefore complicit in creating a very dangerous situation. Others point to the fact that Josh cheated on Anna and argue that she’s been kept in the dark about the majority of her husband’s nefarious behavior. Whatever the case, the mother of five remains a controversial figure — but this week’s mini-scandal has nothing to do with her marriage. Anna posted the above photo to Instagram this week with a caption reading: “The little Aunts ‘helped’ Meredith with some makeup for a girl’s fun day! #littleduggars” So we assume that some of Josh’s youngest sisters applied the 3-year-old’s makeup. We also assume a Counting On spinoff entitled Little Duggars is headed our way, but we prefer not to think about that at the moment. As is often the case with this sort of situation, the whole thing seems innocent enough at first glance. And indeed, several members of Josh and Anna’s inner circle seemed to get a kick out of the pic. “Haha little attitude!” Jill Duggar commented. “A true ‘threenager,'” wrote longtime family friend (and possible girlfriend of Jana Duggar ) Laura DeMasie. Josiah Duggar’s wife, Lauren Swanson, who suffered a miscarriage in October, also chimed in commenting, “So cute! Love that kid!” Anna replied to Lauren’s comment, writing: “Love you Lauren! We are so blessed to have you in our family!” So it sounds like the post was pretty well-received, right? Well, unfortunately for Anna, there were quite a few naysayers in the comments, as well. For the most part, they were people who don’t seem to have any problem with young girls wearing makeup around the house as a joke. But they do have a problem with the hypocrisy they feel is on display here. “Ugh!! Seriously should not be putting makeup on your toddlers!” wrote one follower. “I agree with the comment above about Josh the molester! I can only imagine what he does to his own children while alone with them. Seriously how can you not have divorced this criminal and rapist Anna?!?” Normally, we’d encourage that person to lighten up. But the fact remains that Anna is married to a man who probably shouldn’t be allowed around children. View Slideshow: Anna Duggar: Did She Get Pregnant to Save Josh’s Career?!

Josiah Duggar and Lauren Swanson Reveal Miscarriage, Share Pain from "Worst Day" of Their Lives

Just four months after their wedding, and just hours before their return to television on a new season of Counting On , Josiah Duggar and Lauren Swanson have shared some very sad news with their fans. It’s almost the saddest news they could possibly share. The news is this: Lauren suffered a miscarriage in October. “A couple months ago, we found out that we were expecting, but suddenly thereafter, we lost our baby,” Swanson explains in a clip released Monday morning from tonight’s Counting On premiere. Adds Josiah in this sneak peek: “It really was a hard time for our family going through this right after we got married. And all the dreams of getting to see our little one and hold it in our hands dashed before our eyes.” We can’t imagine anything more devastating. And we appreciate the couple being so candid about such a difficult topic. “Lauren and I were actually preparing for a trip to go to a friend’s wedding over the weekend. She started feeling really sick and started noticing some different things,” Josiah expounds on the premiere. Lauren, for her part, thought it was a dietary problem at first. “I wasn’t feeling well,” she says. “I was cramping really, really bad, which was quite strange because I normally don’t. I was thinking I had something with gluten in it.” She then discovered the tragic truth, continuing as follows while retelling this story: “It was late at night and I went to the restroom, and right there was the baby. Gone. I couldn’t believe it, and I was hoping it wasn’t true.” Fans have been speculating about Swanson’s status for months, which makes this even more poignant — and which also ought to serve as a reminder. You really should never ask a woman if she’s expecting or wonder when she might be in some public forum. Because you simplynever know what someone is going through. The couple, meanwhile, got married on June 30, 2018 at John Brown University Cathedral of the Ozarks in Siloam Springs, Arkansas; only seven months or so after they started courting. But things often move quickly in the romance department for members of this family. Said Josiah in a statement last March: “Lauren and I are engaged! This is an exciting big step in our lives and the whole thing was very meaningful. “The place where I proposed to Lauren is the exact spot where her parents were engaged. There’s a lot of family history on this property making it a special place for Lauren.” TLC actually aired footage of the proposal , too. Fast forward just a few months after this question-popping and Lauren and Josiah shared their first kiss. Not just as husband and wife, but their first kiss EVER, as depicted below: View Slideshow: Josiah Duggar and Lauren Swanson Wedding Pics: See Their First Kiss… EVER! This past Thursday, the couple uploaded a sweet snapshot of them smiling and kissing in Orlando, making it evident to followers that they’re trying their best to move on from this tragedy. “How did I ever get someone as special as you,” wrote Duggar as a caption to the image. Josiah Duggar & Lauren Swanson: Finally Married, Still Not Allowed to Spend Time Alone

Back in June,  Josiah Duggar married Lauren Swanson got married in the sort of massive, lavish ceremony his family has become known for. Basically, Duggar kids get hitched in the Ozark equivalent of royal weddings, except instead of celebrities and foreign leaders there are dozens of bait shop proprietors in attendance. Of course, Duggar weddings have an added layer of significance due to the family’s old-fashioned views on premarital sex. When Duggar couples are pronounced man and wife and the groom kisses the bride — that’s generally the first kiss either of them has experienced. And it takes place in front of millions of TV viewers and a thousand guests, many of whom spent their morning digging for nightcrawlers. Prior to tying the knot, couples like Josiah and Lauren aren’t even permitted to spend time alone together. This is a result of the ultra-strict Duggar courtship rules that prohibit everything from hand-holding to “front hugs.” (“Side hugs” are still permitted, as there’s little chance of accidental clothed genital contact. They’ve really put a lot of thought into this stuff.) Duggar kids aren’t even allowed to use social media prior to courtship. In that sense, Josiah stands out as an anomaly. Unlike his siblings, Josiah was involved in a courtship prior to meeting his wife, and thus, the man knows his way around Instagram. And we suppose it shows when he posts epically panoramic vacation photos like the ones above. Unfortunately, in addition to showing off some breathtaking scenery, Josiah is also confirming the theory that Duggar date nights are lame AF. According to Josiah’s latest posts, he and Lauren are currently on vacation in North Carolina with her family. That’s all well and good, but it’s led many to wonder if these two ever spend any time alone together. They went from chaperoned dates to vacations with her family with nothing but a short honeymoon in between. As a Duggars, Josiah and Lauren are no doubt feeling the pressure to begin breeding. But it’s hard to see how that’s gonna happen when they’re constantly surrounded by family members. Maybe Josiah and Lauren need to sit down and explain to their parents how this whole process works. It’ll be awkward, but it might be the only way. View Slideshow: Josiah Duggar & Lauren Swanson Relive Their Whirlwind Courtship on Counting On!

Josiah Duggar Reveals the WEIRD Way He Prepared For His Wedding Night!

These days, Josiah Duggar and Lauren Swanson are all over each other . But just a few months ago, they had never even kissed. In the restrictive world of the Duggars, the first kiss is very public — because it's at your wedding, in front of everyone you know. Josiah is revealing how he prepared for his very first kiss: he practiced on his hand. See the video: In the teaser for Monday night's Counting On finale, Josiah is just hours away from marrying Lauren Swanson . 23-year-old Joseph Duggar is a married man himself. He figured that he should pass on some advice to his brother about what he learned from tying the knot with Kendra Caldwell. “As far as the first kiss goes,” Joseph says. “I mean, I’m sure you can figure it out” “It’s not really that complicated,” he assures his slightly younger brother. “I asked her just to stay … kinda as still as she could … and then kind of go with it,” Josiah says awkwardly. “That’s what we did,” Joseph replies. “Either one side or the other,” Joseph adds. “But it looks better when the guy goes, I think.” “I don’t think you’re going to have a problem,” Joseph suspects. He credits his optimism to communication, because: “y’all probably already talked about it.” Witha  little prompting from a producer, Josiah reveals a little more to the Counting On cameras. “I was thinking, you know what? I wonder what it feels like,” Josiah shares. To be clear, he's talking about kissing — not the wedding night. “So I practiced on my hand,” Josiah reveals. “I think practicing on my hand was just to see what it felt like from her side.” “You can’t kiss a tree and expect to see what it’s going to feel like for her,” Josiah reasons. Well … he's not wrong. Lauren is not a tree. “So if you kiss on your hand, you can feel … like, ‘Okay, maybe I should make my lips more full,’ or whatever,” Josiah continues. That helped him, Josiah explains, to practice “and kind of think of it from that perspective.” “You’ve got to think about it!” Josiah explains. Obviously, practicing for something like the wedding night using his hand would be strictly forbidden in the Duggar household. We suppose that kissing his hand must be okay. We hope. Still speaking to the camera, Josiah gushes about this major life milestone. “It is interesting to think this is the first day in my life I get to kiss a girl,” Josiah says. He clarifies that he will be kissing Lauren “right smack dab on the lips.” “I mean, it’s special,” Josiah shares. “It really is a special moment for us.” “And I’ll try to make sure it’s not just a peck,” Josiah promises. “I’ll make sure it’s good.” Most of us have probably seen one viral video or another of a fundamentalist wedding where the bride and groom had never kissed. These videos go viral because, well, the first kiss ends up being painfully awkward to watch. While it's a shame that the Duggars aren't raised with real choices and personal freedoms, Josiah has seen a lot of weddings. At 22, his first kiss was probably a little more prepared than a normal person's at 12 or 15 or 19 or whatever. We'll find out on Monday night's Counting On season finale!

David Beador: Did He Get His Hot Young Girlfriend Pregnant?!

Note to Shannon Beador: You may not want to scroll down and read the crux of this story. Go binge watch The Crown or do something else instead, okay? Just do anything except learn about the latest step in your ex-husband’s new relationship… According to Reality Blurb, David Beador and his relatively new, young and very attractive girlfriend, Lesley Cook, have moved in together . An insider has confirmed the major life step to the aforementioned website, while also answering the most pressing question on the minds of most fans after learning of this news. Are Beador and Cook shacking up together because the latter is pregnant? Is David about to be a father once again? No, the source emphasizes. Cook is not pregnant. The two are just in love, we guess, and their relationship is simply this serious. David and Lesley went public with their romance in February, about three months after Shannon Beador announced she was divorcing her husband of 17 years. Not just divorcing him, we should say — but divorcing him and taking EVERYthing she could . This strong stance has supposedly been taken by Shannon because David confessed to cheating on her in 2015; and because many believe he was also cheating on her with Cook. Both David and Lesley have denied this allegation, with the latter calling Tamra Judge a liar for claiming that Cook and Beador met last October, while he was still married to Shannon. We have no inside knowledge of when this romance started, so we aren’t going to join in this speculation. We will reiterate, however, just how ugly a split this has become. Shannon is allegedly receiving $30,000 per month from David is spousal support, while David has reportedly demanded that his estranged wife drop his last name . That’s something you almost never see happen. Shannon and David share three kids together (17-year-old Sophie and 14-year-old twins Stella and Adeline) and it does at least seem like this vicious split isn’t having a negative effect on them. We mean, we’re sure it is. How could it not?!? But Cook at least told Us Weekly this spring that David “goes above and beyond for his daughters,” adding: “David is an absolutely amazing dad. He takes his daughters to school every morning, well the ones that don’t drive. He takes them to all of their after school activities, drives them to their tournaments, and is always there for them. “His daughters are the absolute light in his life, and he loves them so very much. “The girls will always come first.”

Counting On Recap: Jinger Duggar Learns She’s Having a Girl!

Counting On suffers from the same problem as so many reality shows nowadays, in that its stars are so famous and so popular on social media that it’s very easy to stay up to speed with what’s going on in their lives. Some have argued that these circumstances render reality TV obsolete, but Counting On remains as popular as ever, and last night’s episode provided some potent reminders of why that is. The installment served up major developments on different fronts, as the two most rebellious Duggar siblings each prepared for the next stage in their life. Back in July,  Jinger Duggar welcomed her first child , a girl named Felicity. But at the time that Monday’s episode was filmed, the young couple was still clueless as to the baby’s sex. “There was a lot of anticipation waiting to find out the gender,” Jinger told the cameras of prior to her doctor’s appointment. “Who’s the baby going to look like? We were both so thrilled.” Jeremy — clearly overwhelmed by seeing an image of his daughter for — struggled to put the profound moment into words. “That’s incredible,” he said at one point. “This was my first time ever being in an ultrasound, and the fact it’s my child was astonishing,” Vuolo later added. “I was almost at a loss for words.” Despite some initial misgivings, Jeremy and Jinger opted to find out the baby’s gender as early as possible, and lucky for us, the emotional moment was caught on camera. “We opted not to be surprised so maybe we could have more time to reflect on the name, and maybe down the road we may choose to be surprised,” Vuolo said. “When the technician told us what we were having, we were both overjoyed,” Jinger told the cameras. “We just could not believe it.” Just a few months later Felicity Nicole Vuolo entered the world at 8lbs. and 3oz.  And so far, fans have continued to share in every moment of her young life. Of course, Jinger and Jeremy weren’t the only ones gearing up for a life-changing moment on last night’s show. Josiah Duggar and Lauren Swanson got married  in June, and on Monday’s Counting On, fans got a peek at the preparations as Lauren attempted to find the perfect dress for the occasion. The Duggars and their fundamentalist community are typically very big on gender roles, but Lauren broke with tradition by bringing her dad along on her dress-shopping excursion. “Before Josiah came into the picture, my dad was my very best friend,” Lauren told the cameras. “He was someone I always would talk to about anything if anything was wrong, and I really value my dad’s opinion.” Of course, there are downsides to shopping with the guy who’s footing the bill: “I really wanted him to be part of it. My dad will probably be more concerned about the price, just knowing my dad,” Lauren said. “He’s very frugal. I don’t necessarily like to pick the expensive things. I don’t tend, to but that happens.” Clearly, Lauren’s not as conservative as the Duggars — so it’s a good thing that she found happiness with the most non-traditional of the Counting On clan. Josiah Duggar and Lauren Swanson: Look at Us On Our Honeymoon!

Josiah Duggar and Lauren Swanson are currently in their honeymoon phase of marriage. And we mean this literally: The newlyweds are actively in Vienna, Austria, having the time of their lives after making the romantic committment of their lives. Duggar and Swanson shared the snapshot above of themselves on this special vacation, with Josiah adding in an extended comment to Us Weekly: “We’re so excited to be in Vienna on our honeymoon and spending this time together! “It’s a beautiful place, with a beautiful wife. What more could a guy ask for than that? “We are loving every minute of it. It’s still mind-blowing to think that we have the rest of our lives together. God’s goodness is overwhelming!” Swanson also chimed in with a glowing remark about her husband and their trip. She even included a note about why the couple selected Austria for their destination. “We chose Austria for our honeymoon because The Sound of Music,” Swanson told the aforementioned tabloid, adding in more detail: “I’ve always wanted to come here and I’m loving all the scenery and traditional Austrian clothing. I am also loving the people and the culture. “Travel like this reminds me that people everywhere are really the same, even if the culture and some experiences are different. People everywhere want joy, happiness and good things for their children and so much more. “This trip makes me love people and desire to deliver God’s love and care to people more than ever before.” The Counting On cast member and his life partner exchanged vows on June 30 at John Brown University Cathedral in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. The nuptials came as a surprise to even the most ardent of TLC viewers, considering Josiah and Lauren had not revealed their wedding date ahead of time. There was even chatter that the ceremony would take place closer to the end of the year, causing some to speculate over why the wedding was moved up. Specifically, did the pair get married in a pinch because Swanson is pregnant ? Josiah, often considered the most rebellious of Jim Bob and Michelle’s children, had previously dated Marjorie Jackson in 2015. It then took him over two years to find someone else to court. Eventually, though, he settled on Swanson, who has been known to wear shorts that stop above the knee , which is equivalent to starring in an adult film when it comes to the Duggars. These crazy kids are clearly meant for each other. “What a joy it is to be husband and wife! Our wedding day was absolutely perfect!” Duggar and Swanson said about becoming husband and wife. “What was even more perfect was to see my beautiful bride walking down the aisle. “We are so thankful the Lord has brought us to this place and we can’t wait to begin our journey as husband and wife.” As for those curious for a look at the couple’s wedding and their first kiss?
