Josiah Duggar to Lauren Swanson: I Don’t Deserve You

Josiah Duggar is just so in love with Lauren Swanson. And he wants the whole world to know it, especially in light of some heartbreaking news the couple shared last week about their attempt to start a family. Indeed, just days after revealing that Swanson had suffered a miscarriage in October, Josiah wrote the following in honor of a certain romantic holiday promoted by Hallmark and other companies: “Happy Valentine’s Day baby! “I wish I was better at expressing how much you mean to me. I don’t deserve you, you are the world to me. I cannot imagine life without you. I feel so honored to be your husband. “Thank you for choosing me! I love you.” Pretty darn sweet and sentimental, right? Even more so when you consider that Duggar penned this as a caption to a photo of himself and Lauren on their wedding day. The couple got married in late June in Arkansas. It was presumed at the time that they’d announce a pregnancy shortly afterward, with numerous celebrity gossip sources out there wondering whether Swanson was expecting. As it tragically turns out, the answer at one point was yes: She was pregnant. But Swanson then lost the baby. She and Josiah confirmed the awful news on last Monday’s season premiere of Counting On. “It really was a hard time for our family going through this right after we got married,” he said on air, adding: “And all the dreams of getting to see our little one and hold it in our hands dashed before our eyes.” Swanson started to feel sick as she and her husband were preparing to go away for a friend’s wedding. She initially thought the cramping and stomach pain was due to some kind of dietary problem… but then she learned otherwise. “It was late at night and I went to the restroom, and right there was the baby. Gone. I couldn’t believe it, and I was hoping it wasn’t true,” Swanson told fans and viewers on this return episode of the TLC program. So very sad. We cannot imagine going through such a thing. Thankfully, however, Duggar and Swanson’s bond remains strong, as evidenced by this Valentine’s Day message. And they also have the support of their loved ones to get them through this challenging time in their marriage. “We love you so much and look forward to meeting your little one when we get to heaven!” Anna Duggar, who suffered her own miscarriage, told the pair on Instagram. John David Duggar Abbie Grace Burnett echoed this sentiment, writing on their own account: “[We] will continue to pray for you both!” Same here. Josiah Duggar and Lauren Swanson: Look at Us On Our Honeymoon!

Josiah Duggar and Lauren Swanson are currently in their honeymoon phase of marriage. And we mean this literally: The newlyweds are actively in Vienna, Austria, having the time of their lives after making the romantic committment of their lives. Duggar and Swanson shared the snapshot above of themselves on this special vacation, with Josiah adding in an extended comment to Us Weekly: “We’re so excited to be in Vienna on our honeymoon and spending this time together! “It’s a beautiful place, with a beautiful wife. What more could a guy ask for than that? “We are loving every minute of it. It’s still mind-blowing to think that we have the rest of our lives together. God’s goodness is overwhelming!” Swanson also chimed in with a glowing remark about her husband and their trip. She even included a note about why the couple selected Austria for their destination. “We chose Austria for our honeymoon because The Sound of Music,” Swanson told the aforementioned tabloid, adding in more detail: “I’ve always wanted to come here and I’m loving all the scenery and traditional Austrian clothing. I am also loving the people and the culture. “Travel like this reminds me that people everywhere are really the same, even if the culture and some experiences are different. People everywhere want joy, happiness and good things for their children and so much more. “This trip makes me love people and desire to deliver God’s love and care to people more than ever before.” The Counting On cast member and his life partner exchanged vows on June 30 at John Brown University Cathedral in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. The nuptials came as a surprise to even the most ardent of TLC viewers, considering Josiah and Lauren had not revealed their wedding date ahead of time. There was even chatter that the ceremony would take place closer to the end of the year, causing some to speculate over why the wedding was moved up. Specifically, did the pair get married in a pinch because Swanson is pregnant ? Josiah, often considered the most rebellious of Jim Bob and Michelle’s children, had previously dated Marjorie Jackson in 2015. It then took him over two years to find someone else to court. Eventually, though, he settled on Swanson, who has been known to wear shorts that stop above the knee , which is equivalent to starring in an adult film when it comes to the Duggars. These crazy kids are clearly meant for each other. “What a joy it is to be husband and wife! Our wedding day was absolutely perfect!” Duggar and Swanson said about becoming husband and wife. “What was even more perfect was to see my beautiful bride walking down the aisle. “We are so thankful the Lord has brought us to this place and we can’t wait to begin our journey as husband and wife.” As for those curious for a look at the couple’s wedding and their first kiss? Nick Offerman Talks ‘Juicy’ ‘Parks And Recreation’ Developments

Actor who plays Ron Swanson tells MTV News that ‘the evil Tammy Two’ returns in the fall. By Jocelyn Vena, with reporting by Josh Horowitz Nick Offerman in “Parks and Recreation” Photo: NBC As the latest season of “Parks and Recreation” rolls along, fans of the quirky NBC comedy have been rooting for the show’s leading lady, Leslie Knope, as she tries to win the hearts of the folks in Pawnee, Indiana, by running for a spot on the city council. But Leslie isn’t having all the fun. Pawnee’s resident curmudgeon, Ron Swanson (played by Nick Offerman), is finding himself caught up in an unexpected friendship with the always-optimistic government star Chris Traeger (Rob Lowe). As always, Swanson is working to make sure government doesn’t run smoothly, and of course he faces the possibility that one of his ex-wives could show up and bring their own brand of trouble to his life. “If we can help it,” Offerman told MTV News at the Sundance Film Festival when asked if there would be a chance to bring back one of his character’s former wives, both named Tammy (one played by his real-life wife, Megan Mullally, and the other by Oscar nominee Patricia Clarkson ). “I know that there’s one juicy story coming up in the fall for Tammy Two, the evil Tammy Two [Mullally].” But until then, Offerman, offscreen, will be wearing another hat. He recently wrote one of the show’s upcoming episodes, and in addition to some more Knope-related election excitement there will also be a shakeup in his character’s romantic life. “Oh gosh. It was so fun and exciting and crazy. The episode is called ‘Lucky.’ Leslie Knope gets this really lucky interview with sort of the Anderson Cooper of Indianapolis. But then the interview is canceled and it comes back on, and some hilarity ensues,” he explained. “Meanwhile, Ron Swanson and Chris Traeger are vying for the attentions of Andy Dwyer’s women’s studies college professor. It’s very funny.”

Patricia Clarkson Talks Tammy One’s Scary ‘Parks And Rec’ Arrival

Ron Swanson’s cold-hearted ex-wife is #29 on MTV News’ Top 50 TV characters. By Jocelyn Vena Patricia Clarkson as Tammy One on “Parks and Recreation” Photo: NBC Before Patricia Clarkson ‘s arrival on “Parks and Recreation,” fans could only imagine what Ron Swanson’s chilling, manipulative ex-wife was like. The mere thought of Tammy One returning sends Ron running for cover. But over a two-episode arc, Clarkson perfectly embodied the role of Tammy One, giving a cold-hearted face to the show’s most-feared character. Tammy One’s arrival in Pawnee, Indiana, was bone-chilling and left fans crossing their fingers that Swanson would get out alive. That memorable introduction also helped her to place a solid #29 on MTV News’ list of Top 2011 TV Characters . We got on the phone with Clarkson on Tuesday, and she opened up about getting the chance to play the scariest woman in the “Parks and Rec” universe. MTV : What was your reaction when you first read this character? She’s the only person that seems to really get under Ron Swanson’s skin. It takes a lot to get under his skin. Jimmy Fallon, one Pretty Little Liar and more also make our TV Top 50! Patricia Clarkson : Oh, yes it does! Well when I first read it I thought, “Oh my.” You know I’m friends with Nick [Offerman] and Megan [Mullally] and they came to me urging me. And I thought, “Why do you think I’m this [character]? … First of all, let’s deal with that.” You know, I’m quite goofy, but I like doing characters that are a little bit of a stretch for me, and I do have a frightening aspect, and I think we all do as people. I think we can all summon the devils and the demons when we want. I am so thrilled I did this. MTV : We had heard a lot about Ron Swanson’s various Tammys, and you sort of embodied everything “Parks and Rec” fans had wanted to see for so long. Clarkson : The lore that this character carries, the backstory — that was also intimidating, very intimidating to walk into that situation. That also was what made me hesitant, but then I said, “What the hell?” It was beautifully written and funny and perfectly etched. And I do really believe that this is one of the greatest shows ever. I do think it’s an indelible cast of characters. It’s just a superb show. MTV : Are we going to see, maybe, the Tammys teaming up at all? Clarkson : We’re in the dark. Will Megan and I square off? … Will we all come back and have a weenie roast? I don’t know. First of all, the ceiling would have to be quite high, literally and figuratively. MTV : Have you heard if you’ll be back at all? Clarkson : I don’t know. I think they want the element of surprise, whether she does or doesn’t. It’s up to the writers and what they have in store for this season. We’ll see; it would be a blast. MTV will reveal the best artists, songs and movies of the year.
