Joseph Duggar and Kendra Caldwell Welcome Baby #2!!!!

Back in June, Joe Duggar and Kendra Caldwell announced that they were expecting baby #2 to be a girl . Well, the long wait is over! Kendra and Joe have welcomed their newborn into the world! Us Weekly reports that on Saturday, November 2, Kendra Caldwell gave birth to the newest Duggar grandchild. They ushered the sweet little girl into the world at 5:33 AM. The precious newborn is named Addison Renee. At birth, she weighed 7 pounds and 12.5 ounces and measured 20.5 inches in length. Joseph and Kendra released a joint statement to share the happy news. “Addison Renee has made us a family of four,” the couple gushed on Monday. “And,” they continued, “we are already so in love with her!” “She made a quick arrival in the early hours of the morning,” the couple noted, “and has already melted our hearts.” Joe and Kendra were sure to acknowledge that they weren’t the only ones welcoming the little girl to the family. “We know Garrett is going to be a great big brother,” the couple affirmed. In keeping with their brand, the couple expressed: “Children are each a special gift from God.” Their statement concluded: “And we are so happy our newest blessing is here.” Back in April, Joe and Kendra confirmed that they were expecting. “We are ready to double the fun at our house!” the couple shared excitedly. They expressed: “Being parents has already proven to be a greater joy than we had hoped or imagined.” “We love getting to parent together,” Joe and Kendra added. In the statement in April, Joe and Kendra continued: “And are loving every moment and milestone.” “We are very happy that our little family will welcome a new addition later this year,” they announced. “Children really are a blessing from God!” they proclaimed. Now they have two blessings in their household. So cute! Kendra gave birth to little Garrett just 17 months ago. In June of 2018, the couple put out a statement about how thrilled they were to become first-time parents. “No matter how many times we’ve experienced the joy of babies born in our families,” their statement began. The couple continued: “There’s nothing comparable to the joy in our hearts today!” “Children truly are a gift from God,” they said that time, too. “We are so thankful for his safe arrival and this new journey as parents.” Even as recently as October, Kendra and Joe predicted that adding a second baby would be easy . “We’re kind of already in that napping, changing diapers groove with Garrett still, so I think it will be just adding another [to that],” Kendra guessed. “We’ll both be busy, I guess,” Kendra acknowledged. “All hands will be tied up taking care of little ones, but there are always challenges.” “[Our son] can’t do much himself, so he’s going to need a lot of help,” she noted. “But we’re excited about this new chapter.” Fans are excited for the couple to discover that having two children is much harder than simply double the workload of one child. The Duggars in the midst of a mini-baby boom. Just last month, rebellious cousin Amy Duggar welcomed her first child . Back in June, Jessa Duggar welcomed her third . Currently, Josiah Duggar’s wife, Lauren Swanson is pregnant with her first child. It would be an exciting time for any family, but considering the emphasis the Duggars place on procreation, you can bet Jim Bob and Michelle are especially thrilled with the year’s developments! The Duggars: Who’s Courting? Who’s Pregnant? Who’s Next In Line?

Counting On is basically the reality TV equivalent of Game of Thrones : In each show, there are roughly 4 million characters, and it's often difficult to keep track of who's doing what … or whom. The Duggars take a slightly more conservative view on coupling than the residents of Westeros, but all the same, courtships, weddings, pregnancies, and births are a big part of what keeps their core audience tuning in. So here's a rundown of what some of Jim Bob and Michelle's kids are up to these days. But don't worry — unlike Thrones , the Duggars won't be leaving your TV screen anytime soon. 1. The Gang’s All Here The Duggars are an almost impossibly large family. With the adoption of Tyler Duggar last year, Jim Bob and Michelle’s brood swelled to 20. 2. The Next Generation And then there are the grandkids. That number currently sits at 12 for Jim Bob and Michelle. 3. More on the Way! Of course, as is usually the case with the Duggars, there are more babies on the way. Jessa Duggar is roughly 31 weeks pregnant at the moment. 4. She’s Not Alone! Joseph Duggar’s wife Kendra is also expecting a child. The couple just welcomed their first child in June of 2018. 5. The Race Is On! Of course, Josh and Anna Duggar still hold the record for providing Jim Bob and Michelle with the most grand-Duggars. 6. Kendra Duggar Celebrates Resurrection Day, Continues to Bump

He Has Risen. So many people say about the one and only Jesus Christ on Easter each year. Kendra Duggar, however, was able to put a unique twist on this saying this past Sunday, essentially saying in the following photo: Look, I am rising! Duggar would be referring to her stomach if she were to come out and actually state this, considering the life that is now growing inside of it. She and Joseph Duggar took some fans by surprise several days ago when they confirmed they were expecting their second child … just 10 months after welcoming son Garrett into the world. “We are ready to double the fun at our house!” the famous couple said in a statement earlier this month, continuing with excitement: “Being parents has already proven to be a greater joy than we had hoped or imagined. “We love getting to parent together and are loving every moment and milestone. “We are very happy that our little family will welcome a new addition later this year. Children really are a blessing from God!” This past weekend, in celebration of a major religious holiday, Kendra and Joseph gathered in some fancy dudes to attend church with their son and impending little boy or girl. Squint hard enough at the first photo published above and you can sort of (kind of) make out a baby bump. “Happy Resurrection Day!” wrote Kendra as a caption, going on to quote a passage from the bible while adding: We are so thankful we serve a God that came to earth and lived a perfect and sinless life. He died the death that we deserved if we by faith trust him as our Savior, we have the privilege of living with Him in Heaven. These photos mark the second time Kendra has been seen in public since announcing to the world that she is pregnant again. She and Joseph posed for a picture alongside with Jinger and Jeremy Vuolo late last week as well. The Duggars, meanwhile, are expecting quite a few additions to their already-enormous family over the next few months. There’s Kendra and Joseph, as detailed here and also in the video below. Kendra & Joe Duggar: New Pic Of Baby Garrett Leaves Fans Worried

Joe and Kendra Duggar have finally joined Instagram!  And they’re probably regretting their decision right about now.  It only took about five seconds before cruel social media users began shunning the young parents.    Joe’s sister, Jinger (Duggar) Vuolo welcomed the two to IG by posting an adorable photo of their family, but rather than fans celebrating the news, they took to the comment section with questions about baby Garrett’s health.  Jinger shared the photo with her brother and sister-in-law captioning it “Welcome to Instagram Joe and Kendra!” and linked their fans to their page @littleduggarfamily. The parents of 8-month-old Garrett joined Insta last week and shared a cute photo of their little guy.  Saying, “We finally decided to get social media! Still trying to figure out how it works. Looking forward to keeping y’all updated on our little family.” Remind you, Kendra and Joe are only 20-years-old — not 50 — and should be well aware of social media’s functions. But their followers’ petty concerns flooded in about innocent, little Garrett (and not his parent’s late arrival to the IG party). Several users commented on his eyes asking, “Does Garrett have a lazy eye?” Followers also noted on the way the baby holds his head at a slight tilt.  One user shared her undesired motherly advice writing, “It really looks like he needs a helmet not being rude or mean my child had one and i can see in the other pic this needs to be addressed i hope someone close can tell them. He probably favored a side and has a flat head which causes eye to be off.” Another added, “Adorable. But please, please have him checked for hydrocephalus.” And as crazy as the Duggars are , they do believe in Western medicine.  So if there is a medical concern regarding Garrett, we’re sure the mom is on top of it with her pediatrician. You know, a real doctor. Not Instagram trolls who believe they have the ability to diagnose everything and everyone. One user, who must be trusted due to her name @hotmessmom wrote, “Garrett has torticollis, he needs pt. It only takes a few times to fix it.” According to healthline.com, torticollis is also known as “wry neck,” and occurs when “the top of the head generally tilts to one side.” Other people chimed in agreeing with the medical examinations.  “Yes my baby girl had Torticollis too. I noticed it in Garrett right away,” wrote yet another mom.  Thankfully, there are always the good guys of the internet.  One user wrote, “I have an idea for people, unless you have MD after your name and are this families physician then keep your mouth shut. They aren’t asking for medical advice from random people…Now that being said, those babies are the cutest!!!” We wouldn’t be surprised if the young couple trashes their new Insta account any day now.  But here’s to hoping they continue to share sweet pics of their little boy, keeping us updated on their adventure into parenthood! Josiah Duggar Reveals the WEIRD Way He Prepared For His Wedding Night!

These days, Josiah Duggar and Lauren Swanson are all over each other . But just a few months ago, they had never even kissed. In the restrictive world of the Duggars, the first kiss is very public — because it's at your wedding, in front of everyone you know. Josiah is revealing how he prepared for his very first kiss: he practiced on his hand. See the video: In the teaser for Monday night's Counting On finale, Josiah is just hours away from marrying Lauren Swanson . 23-year-old Joseph Duggar is a married man himself. He figured that he should pass on some advice to his brother about what he learned from tying the knot with Kendra Caldwell. “As far as the first kiss goes,” Joseph says. “I mean, I’m sure you can figure it out” “It’s not really that complicated,” he assures his slightly younger brother. “I asked her just to stay … kinda as still as she could … and then kind of go with it,” Josiah says awkwardly. “That’s what we did,” Joseph replies. “Either one side or the other,” Joseph adds. “But it looks better when the guy goes, I think.” “I don’t think you’re going to have a problem,” Joseph suspects. He credits his optimism to communication, because: “y’all probably already talked about it.” Witha  little prompting from a producer, Josiah reveals a little more to the Counting On cameras. “I was thinking, you know what? I wonder what it feels like,” Josiah shares. To be clear, he's talking about kissing — not the wedding night. “So I practiced on my hand,” Josiah reveals. “I think practicing on my hand was just to see what it felt like from her side.” “You can’t kiss a tree and expect to see what it’s going to feel like for her,” Josiah reasons. Well … he's not wrong. Lauren is not a tree. “So if you kiss on your hand, you can feel … like, ‘Okay, maybe I should make my lips more full,’ or whatever,” Josiah continues. That helped him, Josiah explains, to practice “and kind of think of it from that perspective.” “You’ve got to think about it!” Josiah explains. Obviously, practicing for something like the wedding night using his hand would be strictly forbidden in the Duggar household. We suppose that kissing his hand must be okay. We hope. Still speaking to the camera, Josiah gushes about this major life milestone. “It is interesting to think this is the first day in my life I get to kiss a girl,” Josiah says. He clarifies that he will be kissing Lauren “right smack dab on the lips.” “I mean, it’s special,” Josiah shares. “It really is a special moment for us.” “And I’ll try to make sure it’s not just a peck,” Josiah promises. “I’ll make sure it’s good.” Most of us have probably seen one viral video or another of a fundamentalist wedding where the bride and groom had never kissed. These videos go viral because, well, the first kiss ends up being painfully awkward to watch. While it's a shame that the Duggars aren't raised with real choices and personal freedoms, Josiah has seen a lot of weddings. At 22, his first kiss was probably a little more prepared than a normal person's at 12 or 15 or 19 or whatever. We'll find out on Monday night's Counting On season finale!

Joseph Duggar & Kendra Caldwell: Did They Break the Rules of Courtship?

It’s been six months since Joseph Duggar and Kendra Caldwell got married , but today, many Duggar fans are thinking about the last days of the couple’s courtship. That’s because Monday night’s episode of Counting On featured the couple engaging in behavior that doesn’t quite align with the Duggar rules of courtship. A joint bachelor/bachelorette party allowed the young couple to – gasp! – engage in premarital physical contact, and being human adults with genitals, they took advantage. “We were on John’s boat and whenever we were back on the tube he was definitely working pretty hard to get us off the tube,” Joe said in a voiceover. “It was pretty tough not to break the rules of engagement just for the fact that when you’re tubing your closer than you normally would be,” he added. “When they put you in a turn, you’re trying to counter for the turn so I had to move from side to side so therefore I was crawling over top of her and definitely in close quarters.” It was a nice attempt at explaining away behavior that would have gotten a female Duggar locked in the basement until her wedding day, but fans weren’t buying it. On social media, viewers expressed shock that Joe and Kendra allowed themselves to be shown “climbing on top of one another.” Many pointed out that Jim Bob and Michelle appear to be getting more lax with age, as physical contact of the variety that Joe and Kendra engaged in last night would have been the stuff of scandal a decade ago. One of the downsides of making such a big deal of your ridiculous dating guidelines is that millions of people now know the Duggar courtship rules by heart. Not only are Duggars forbidden to engage in premarital sex, they’re not allowed to kiss or hold hands for a period of time exceeding 15 seconds. In order to maintain full compliance with Michelle and Jim Bob’s rules, unmarried Duggar couples can’t even hug face-to-face lest their fully clothed genitals come into contact. Fortunately for Joe and Kendra, their scenes were overshadowed by the news of Joy-Anna Duggar’s pregnancy . Still, the fact that such a racy (by Duggar standards) scene was permitted to air is a sign that either Jim Bob is desperate for ratings, or he’s finally easing up on his beleaguered adult children. Duggar Courtship News: Who Will Enter a Relationship Next?

We're only five days into the new year, but 2018 has already seen a Duggar baby announcement and a whole slew of courship speculation. We now know that Jinger Duggar is expecting her first child , but that's certainly not the only way in which reality TV's largest family will be expanding in the months to come. Joy-Anna Duggar is also expecting, as is Joseph Duggar's new wife, Kendra Caldwell. And of course, several single Duggars are set to embark on courtship journeys of their own in the months to come. Here's a rundown of who might be next to leave the nest: 1. Jana Duggar The perennial fan favorite. Fans have been hoping for a courtship announcement from Jana for years now. And thanks to her increasingly close “friendship” with Caleb Williams, it seems 2018 will finally be her year. 2. John David Duggar This is another one that wouldn’t come as much of a surprise. In fact, it’s widely believed that John David is already involved in a secret courtship with a woman from Texas. No word on why he might be keeping things on the down-low. 3. The Pressure Is On! Both Jana and John David are no doubt feeling the pressure to announce relationships. The twins will turn 28 this month, and they’re the oldest unmarried Duggars by a considerable margin. 4. Josiah Duggar Many fans believe this is the year that Josiah Duggar will once again try his hand at courtship. Josiah is the only member of his family to enter a relationship that did not result in marriage, having pursued an ill-fated romance with Marjorie Jackson in 2016. 5. A Social Media Loophole Some fans believe Josiah is the next to go a-courtin’, as in many respects, he’s more modern and mature than many of his siblings. Duggars are typically forbidden to have social media accounts until they enter a formal courtship. However, Josiah has maintained an Instagram page despite the fact that his relationship with Jackson has come to en end, leading many to believe that he’s using it to keep in touch with potential mates. 6. Jedediah Duggar Smart money is on Jedediah Duggar announcing a courship in 2018. As many fans have pointed out, he was likely already involved in a romantic relationship that went awry. Kendra Caldwell SLAMMED for Endangering Her Unborn Child?!

Life is tough for a Duggar woman. Like, real tough. You get married as young as possible most of the time, and from then on out you’re pretty much just a baby factory. Yep, if your last name is Duggar and you have a uterus, you best believe that uterus is going to do some hard time . Oh, and definitely be prepared to be judged for each and every choice, valid or terrible, you make while parenting your gaggle of kids. One of your “duties” is to make yourself available to your husband at all times — meaning if he wants sex, well, then you better get to sexin’. If you like fashion and beauty, you don’t have too many options, because you have to dress modestly and haircuts should be few and far between. (Apparently perms are OK though? Whatever, Michelle.) The Duggars believe so strongly in their fashion choices that it’s been actual news when one of the girls has worn pants . For real. Now that we’ve gone over all that, let’s take a gander at this new photo of Joseph Duggar’s wife, Kendra Caldwell, with Amy Duggar: With the rules of Duggar ladies fresh in your mind, there’s a good chance you see a few issues with the picture already, right? If you don’t though, don’t worry — Amy posted this photo on Instagram, and you know her followers were ready and willing to tear this apart. First, let’s take a look at Kendra’s attire here. Because yes, she is wearing a skirt while tubing! “Is that a skirt in the snow?!” one concerned citizen asked. Another said “It’s weird to me to be sledding in a skirt — it’s actually hilarious to me.” For the Duggars though, the skirt does make sense. Kendra’s wearing pants underneath the skirt, but the skirt’s purpose is to hide any of her figure that might have shown through the pants. Modesty, get it? The bigger issue here for most people is that Kendra and Joseph just announced that they’re expecting their first child , so for Kendra to do a physical activity while pregnant, that’s not OK. One person called this “not something you should do while pregnant,” and another said “Kendra um aren’t you pregnant not very wise.” “I’m not her doctor but I do care about a precious unborn baby’s safety,” someone else wrote. “I don’t think people should intentionally do things that could cause harm to their unborn baby.” “I would just not risk getting a injury to myself or my baby if it wasn’t a must,” yet another cautious commenter said. “I’m sure there is safer activities she can do while she’s pregnant that are fun and less risky.” “She can flip on the tube or hit a bump or tree. The thing is, and many of Amy’s followers pointed this out, Kendra is barely three months pregnant, if that. Doing some tubing down a hill like this isn’t going to hurt anything. Joseph Duggar & Kendra Caldwell Make Their Debut As a Married Couple! WATCH!

It's been just over a week since Joseph Duggar and Kendra Caldwell got married , but the couple has kept a surprisingly low profile in the days since they exchanged vows. We don't know where Joe and Kendra honeymooned, or how they're enjoying married life thus far. But thanks to a video the couple uploaded over the weekend, we know exactly how they feel about the newest addition to the Duggar clan. As you may have heard, Josh and Anna Duggar welcomed their fifth child earlier this month. The news received a mixed response from fans, as folks generally aren't thrilled when known child abusers have more kids, but within the Duggar clan, Josh and Anna received nothing but praise and well-wishes. And because video greetings uploaded to to public forums are the preferred method of communication for this family, Joseph and Kendra offered kind words on YouTube. The delivery on these clips is usually awkward and strained, as though there's a gunman with cue cards just off camera, but the sentiment is nice, we guess. It seems Kendra is still getting accustomed to addressing the Duggar faithful, and she seems more than a little uncomfortable. But hey, she'll get used to it, right? She better, as unless she's involved in some sort of a massive scandal on par with what Josh did, she'll be living her life in front of a camera from here on out.
