Jedidiah Duggar Announces Run For Arkansas House of Representatives: I’m Even More Conservative Than Jim Bob, Y’all!

Well, we knew the day would come when the next generation of Duggars would follow Jim Bob's lead and run for public office. We just didn't think the first one to throw his hat in the ring would be only a few months out of his teens. For a long time, it looked as though Josh Duggar would enter the political arena, but a handful of sex scandals derailed his career while he was still in the lobbyist stage. And so, Josh is in exile (read: selling used cars in rural Arkansas), and it's his brother Jedidiah who's taken up the mantel of public service. This week, 20-year-old Jed announced that he's running for a seat in the Arkansas House of Representatives. The election is still a year away, but thanks to Jed's status as a member of reality TV's most controversial family, his campaign is already gaining a lot of attention. Take a look: 1. Jed! Jed announced this week that he’s running for a seat in the Arkansas House of Representatives. If he’s smart, he’ll learn from the mistakes of that OTHER Jed from a famous family and avoid exclamation marks on his campaign signs. 2. Jedsite Jed’s official campaign site launched this week, and you probably won’t be surprised to learn the scion of Jim Bob leans HARD to the right in his policy positions. 3. Facing the Issues You want issues? Jed’s got ’em! His site lays out his stance on seven hot-button topics, and you better believe Jed’s got strong opinions about God and guns. 4. The Resume School? Who’s got time for it? Jed may have not have spent much (or any) time in a classroom … or the military … or even in a full-time job (no, being the nominal head of one of your dad’s car lots doesn’t count) — but he worked on a state senator’s campaign for a couple months last year! 5. Life? Jed’s In Favor of It To the surprise of absolutely no one, Jed is vehemently pro-life. He threw “100%” in there, so it’s safe to assume he opposes abortion even in cases of rape, incest, or medical issues that might threaten the mother’s life. Definitely the kind of decision you want a 20-year-old virgin to make for you. 6. Nothing Says “Pro-Life” Like an Assault Weapon! Not surprisingly, Jed is also big on guns. Joseph Duggar and Kendra Caldwell Welcome Baby #2!!!!

Back in June, Joe Duggar and Kendra Caldwell announced that they were expecting baby #2 to be a girl . Well, the long wait is over! Kendra and Joe have welcomed their newborn into the world! Us Weekly reports that on Saturday, November 2, Kendra Caldwell gave birth to the newest Duggar grandchild. They ushered the sweet little girl into the world at 5:33 AM. The precious newborn is named Addison Renee. At birth, she weighed 7 pounds and 12.5 ounces and measured 20.5 inches in length. Joseph and Kendra released a joint statement to share the happy news. “Addison Renee has made us a family of four,” the couple gushed on Monday. “And,” they continued, “we are already so in love with her!” “She made a quick arrival in the early hours of the morning,” the couple noted, “and has already melted our hearts.” Joe and Kendra were sure to acknowledge that they weren’t the only ones welcoming the little girl to the family. “We know Garrett is going to be a great big brother,” the couple affirmed. In keeping with their brand, the couple expressed: “Children are each a special gift from God.” Their statement concluded: “And we are so happy our newest blessing is here.” Back in April, Joe and Kendra confirmed that they were expecting. “We are ready to double the fun at our house!” the couple shared excitedly. They expressed: “Being parents has already proven to be a greater joy than we had hoped or imagined.” “We love getting to parent together,” Joe and Kendra added. In the statement in April, Joe and Kendra continued: “And are loving every moment and milestone.” “We are very happy that our little family will welcome a new addition later this year,” they announced. “Children really are a blessing from God!” they proclaimed. Now they have two blessings in their household. So cute! Kendra gave birth to little Garrett just 17 months ago. In June of 2018, the couple put out a statement about how thrilled they were to become first-time parents. “No matter how many times we’ve experienced the joy of babies born in our families,” their statement began. The couple continued: “There’s nothing comparable to the joy in our hearts today!” “Children truly are a gift from God,” they said that time, too. “We are so thankful for his safe arrival and this new journey as parents.” Even as recently as October, Kendra and Joe predicted that adding a second baby would be easy . “We’re kind of already in that napping, changing diapers groove with Garrett still, so I think it will be just adding another [to that],” Kendra guessed. “We’ll both be busy, I guess,” Kendra acknowledged. “All hands will be tied up taking care of little ones, but there are always challenges.” “[Our son] can’t do much himself, so he’s going to need a lot of help,” she noted. “But we’re excited about this new chapter.” Fans are excited for the couple to discover that having two children is much harder than simply double the workload of one child. The Duggars in the midst of a mini-baby boom. Just last month, rebellious cousin Amy Duggar welcomed her first child . Back in June, Jessa Duggar welcomed her third . Currently, Josiah Duggar’s wife, Lauren Swanson is pregnant with her first child. It would be an exciting time for any family, but considering the emphasis the Duggars place on procreation, you can bet Jim Bob and Michelle are especially thrilled with the year’s developments! Duggar Family Baby Bumps: See Them All!

We often like to ask the following question about the Duggar Family: Who is pregnant at the moment? But ongoing circumstances have forced us to consider amending this query a slight bit and asking the following instead… … who is NOT pregnant at the moment?!? We barely even say this in jest, considering the influx of Duggars currently in an expecting state. As previously reported, Kendra Duggar (née Caldwell), Jessa Seewald (née Duggar) and Anna Duggar (née Keller) are ALL pregnant right now, as Joy-Anna Duggar and Amy Duggar. We’re not kidding. All five of these women are knocked up. Three of them, meanwhile, came together in the same place this week, posing with matriarch Michelle Duggar for a rather unique photograph. “Mother/Daughter panel at the @familyconfs,” Michelle wrote on her family’s Instagram Story on Thursday, May 2. The 19 Kids and Counting alum could be seen on stage at this event with her three expecting daughters… as well as Lauren Duggar (née Swanson), Abbie Duggar (née Burnett) and Jana Duggar.  It’s a lot to keep track of, we know, but here’s the scary thing: More Duggar pregnancies may be on the way, according to Anna Duggar ! Back in January, Jessa was the first of these mothers-to-be to confirm her major news: “ We are overjoyed that God has blessed us with a baby, due late this Spring,” she and husband Ben Seewald said at the time, adding: “We realize that, in going from two to three kids, we’re about to switch from man-to-man to zone coverage, so we’ve definitely been taking advice from friends who are already in this stage! “We love being parents and are really looking forward to this new arrival!” Jessa is due to give birth any week now. From there, Kendra and Joe Duggar made their own announcement in early April, saying: “We are ready to double the fun at our house! “Being parents has already proven to be a greater joy than we had hoped or imagined. We love getting to parent together and are loving every moment and milestone. We are very happy that our little family will welcome a new addition later this year. “Children really are a blessing from God!” It was then on to Anna Duggar, who has pushed through her husband’s cheating and molestation scandals and will soon squeeze out their SIXTH child. “We couldn’t be happier to share with the world that our family is growing by one this Fall,” she told Us Weekly last month. “We continually stand amazed by God’s love, redemption, grace and blessings in our lives. Our entire little family is ecstatic!” Amy and husband Dillon, meanwhile, will welcome their first kid later this year. And Joy-Anna surprised followers by stating that she and Austin are set to give young son Gideon a brother or sister in the coming months. Joseph Duggar and Kendra Duggar have some exciting news to share. Even more exciting than the couple finally signing on to Instagram . And that news is this… … the famous couple is expecting another child!!!!!!! The twosome confirmed this blessed development in an interview with Us Weekly, telling the tabloid in crazy excitement: “We are ready to double the fun at our house! “Being parents has already proven to be a greater joy than we had hoped or imagined. “We love getting to parent together and are loving every moment and milestone. “We are very happy that our little family will welcome a new addition later this year. Children really are a blessing from God!” Kendra and Joe learned this first hand about 10 months ago when they welcomed their first kid, a son named Garrett. No word yet on exactly when Kendra is due or whether she will find out what gender is growing inside her womb, but we’ll be sure to let readers know if the information ever comes out. For the record, Kendra and Joe did learn they were expecting a boy the first time around — so fans may soon be fortunate enough to find out again in this case. This is what they said to Us Weekly upon making that gender announcement: “Wow! We are so happy to learn that our firstborn is a boy! “Our minds are already racing toward all the future memories to be made with this little guy! Most of all, we are already asking God to bless him and help us grow him into a loving and faithful follower of Christ!” Joseph and Kendra got married in 2017. In a video message on their family’s official website, Joe and Kendra were joined by their 10-month-old son, as the father-to-be said the following to his supporters: I was really excited, she really surprised me good this time. I’m not necessarily the emotional type, but I definitely am super thrilled that we’re gonna be having another little one around the house. Kendra adds in this video that they’re looking forward to “just going from one to two and seeing what the adventures hold” as they raise two kids. Just a few weeks ago, astute fans actually suspected that Kendra might be expecting. For what reason? Because they noticed that a Pinterest account, appearing to belong to the TLC star, had started pinning baby announcement ideas. Seriously, right?!? These folks are good! As is so often the case with this family, Kendra isn’t the only Duggar who is pregnant. Her sister-in-law, Jessa Seewald, is also with child. The Arkansas native already – who already has son Spurgeon, 3, and Henry, 2 – told Us Weekly in very early 2019: “We are overjoyed that God has blessed us with a baby, due later this Spring. 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After? is returning for Season 4. We know that there will be a total of six couples, but they were not all confirmed at once. Below, we have what we know so far and what we can expect from them this season. We also have our best guesses about a few couples who may or may not be returning. Season 4 begins airing in a matter of weeks — get hyped! With these couples, it's going to be a mess. 1. 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After? returns! The official premiere date announcement has yet to get more specific than “this spring,” but 90 Day Fiance blogger John Yates says that the premiere date is April 28. 2. Larissa and Colt Larissa Lima and Colt Johnson were the most controversial couple on Season 6 of 90 Day Fiance, so of course they returned. 3. We already knew that … Back in December, Larissa let it slip that they were filming for Happily Ever After? while she was exposing Colt’s cheating to her fans and followers. We wonder how much of that we’ll get to see on TV! 4. Of course, we know how their story ends Larissa is currently living with her bestie, Carmen. She and Colt had a scary, violent fight on January 10 and their terrible, toxic relationship came to an end. 5. Larissa even has a new boyfriend, now Will she and 26-year-old Eric watch Happily Ever After? together? It will be interesting for Eric — and the rest of us — to watch how Larissa’s marriage unraveled at the seams. 6. Kendra Duggar’s Mom Pushes Out Kid #8; Baby Garrett Now Older Than His Uncle!

While somewhat new parents Kendra (Caldwell) Duggar and husband Joe were busy enjoying their first baby son Garrett , Kendra’s mom Christina Caldwell was having a difficult time with her own pregnancy.  Her eighth pregnancy, mind you. In Monday night’s episode of Counting On , Kendra revealed to fans that her mother has always struggled with pregnancies ever since she was in a car accident that caused internal damage when she was pregnant with Kendra 19 years prior.  The family began to notice the complications after Christina looked to be in serious pain walking to the beach on their family vacation, Kendra explained.  “My mom is 28 weeks along, and she has always struggled with each pregnancy after having me because she was in a car accident when she was 36 weeks along with me.” “It caused a lot of damage, and so, every other pregnancy since then, she has had problems with having contractions prematurely,” she added.  Christina and Kendra were pregnant together, which may definitely seem weird for a mom to be pregnant at the same time as her 20-year-old daughter, but Christina was reportedly born in 1980, making her just 39-years-old.  A 39-year-old grandmother may also seem very strange. However, please remember who we are talking about here!  Kendra and Joe came from a very similar background. Both have similar Baptist beliefs and came from an extremely large family, well not as big as Michelle and Jim Bob’s 19 children , but Kendra’s seven siblings would still shock most people within normal society.  Christina opened up about the scary night where she had experienced four contractions in just 25 minutes, allowing Kendra to reflect on her own experience of giving birth for the first time .  “It wasn’t that long ago I had him in my tummy,” she said of baby Garrett. “That was a hard couple days.” Her mom comforted her saying, “You did so good though.” “I know you were not sure if you could make it through it, but you did amazing.” Kendra responded, “You just never know your first time what it’s going to be like, so after getting past your first time, it’s like, ‘Ok, I know what it’s going to be the next time.'” She confided in her mother, explaining that she was definitely not in a rush to get pregnant again for a while, saying she needs a break to recover.  But Kendra also added that being able to connect with her mom on this subject matter was priceless, according to Pop Culture. Clearly, being pregnant at the same time brought Kendra closer to her mother.  “Since I’ve had Garrett, my mom and I have a lot more that we can just talk about now,” Kendra told the camera.  “I love asking her questions… and other times, I’ll just tell her, ‘Wow I can’t believe you’ve done this seven times, and you’re about to do it an eighth time!'” “It gives me a greater appreciation for everything she’s done for me,” she concluded.   Christina and her husband Paul successfully welcomed their eighth child, son Jesiah Mathew, back in January of 2018.  She revealed to Instagram that the complications she was experiencing extended to a knot in Jesiah’s umbilical cord. “He was a miracle from the beginning due to health complications on my part, and then upon delivery the [doctor] told us it was a miracle he made it [with] the knot in his cord,” Christina shared at the time.  “Praising the Lord!!” she added.  Kendra’s new sibling and her own son will get to grow up together, which will be so sweet and so unusual all at the same time.  Counting On airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET on TLC.  View Slideshow: The Duggars: Do Jim Bob & Michelle’s Kids Have Any Friends?

Joy-Anna Duggar Cradles Baby Bump, Shotgun Wedding Rumors Refuse to Die

Joy-Anna Duggar, her husband and two of her brothers posed for a cute pic this week, but all eyes were on the unborn member of the family. Check out Joy’s burgeoning baby bump, people! As always, her belly created an online firestorm. Talk of Joy-Anna getting pregnant before marriage has circulated since … well, before her marriage, and especially after she got pregnant. There had already been chatter about them breaking courtship rules, and they started a family in a hurry even by Duggar standards. Joy announced she was expecting almost exactly 12 weeks after her wedding in late May of last year, and looked even further along. Was it really a shotgun wedding to Austin Forsyth ? We don’t know for sure, and likely never will, but the great due date debate continues. Some fans say Joy-Anna Duggar’s due date is February 22, based on an online registry attributed to the 20-year-old Counting On star. The family has only revealed that she’s due in late February or early March, while others insist that they have never officially said anything. (There’s also a theory going around that Joy already gave birth , though the above photo would appear to have shot that nonsense down.) In any case, the Forsyths, who share a joint Instagram account, posted the image of Joy-Anna on the far left cradling her growing bump. She’s wearing a tight t-shirt and a smile, while husband Austin and two of Joy-Anna’s brothers also look to be having a good time. They captioned the pic, “Hanging with the bros!” That they are. Though almost no one seemed to think much about the other two guys (sorry, John David) in the comment section. Joy also raised eyebrows when she remarked that the pregnant Jinger Duggar would be giving birth just six months after her. That math doesn’t quite match up with the timeline offered by the Duggars and their end-of-February-or-start-of-March claims. As for the registry date? Assuming that’s her “official” due date, it’s less than nine months after her wedding, but not by much. The simple fact that she’s pregnant at this moment pretty much disproves the shotgun wedding theory, as we’re now in February. It’s almost certain that there was no rescheduling of her nuptials, as rumored, although certain skeptics still remain unconvinced. From a numerical aspect, February 22 is 37 weeks from her wedding night, and a typical pregnancy is approximately 40 weeks. However, that 40-week date is typically calculated from the date of the woman’s previous period, so it could very well be the case. In any case, the matter is far from resolved, and the couple has not commented on any shotgun wedding/premarital sex chatter. There are no full-frontal hugs allowed before engagement, let alone sex; Joy and Austin would be breaking family protocol hard . Only time will tell if the birth of their first child sheds any light on this debate, or if it remains an ambiguous mystery long afterward.

Joseph and Kendra Duggar Gender Reveal: They’re Having A…

Joseph and Kendra Duggar have some very exciting news to share. Already having confirmed they’re expecting their first baby this year , the TLC star found a unique way over the weekend to announce the gender of this baby. Were they feeling blue at the time? Or pretty in pink? This young Duggar couple made the reveal in an especially fun manner, as first reported by Us Weekly. You see, Joseph’s brother, John David Duggar, is an Arkansas constable and part-time officer with the Tontitown Police Department. This will soon become relevant, don’t worry. We’re not just bragging on his behalf. Using his connections, John David organized a gender reveal unlike any we’ve seen before, using tannerite mixed with a certain color powder that would burst into the air once the explosive denotated. (Do not try this at home, people. Make sure you have a professional standing by at all times.) So… the Duggar family stood approximately 20 yards behind John David – who has undergone extensive firearm safety and weapons training – as he shot a bullet 200 yards into the substance, which is commonly used in target practice. Blue powder subsequently burst into the air. See a snapshot of the reveal below: You know what this means, right? Yup, a bundle of baby boy joy is on the way for Kendra and Joseph ! “Wow! We are so happy to learn that our firstborn is a boy!” the couple told Us Weekly, adding via statement: “Our minds are already racing toward all the future memories to be made with this little guy! “Most of all, we are already asking God to bless him and help us grow him into a loving and faithful follower of Christ!” Along with the cute picture below, Kendra and Joseph were equally psyched when sharing news of the former expecting back in December. This is what they said at the time: “During this season that we are celebrating the birth of Christ, we are so excited to share with you that we are expecting the gift of a child ourselves! Wow, it’s so exciting!!! “We’ve both always loved children and seen them as a real blessing from God. “It’s so surreal to think of being parents and having our own little one. We cannot wait to see this new baby!” Joseph is only 22 years old and Kendra is only 19 years old. Even by Duggar standards, they are pretty young to become parents. But this how members of the large family role, as anyone who has chronicled their controversial lives on television knows very well. The two have known each other for a very long time, at least, having met in church way back when they were children. Joseph popped the big question to Kendra at sister Joy-Anna’s wedding last May and then they got married in September at the First Baptist Church in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. Making the event extra special? They were married by Kendra’s dad, who is a pastor. Speaking of Joy-Anna, meanwhile, she is also pregnant. Based on her due date and her baby bump and rumors flying around the Internet, however, this pregnancy comes equipped with a built-in scandal: Did she and Austin Forsyth have sex before marriage, make a child and then have a shotgun wedding? Well, a new year is upon us, which means new goals, new opportunities and–if you're a member of the Duggar family–lots of new marriages and babies. Yes, not a year goes by that the Counting On clan doesn't get a little larger, and this year, they're off to a hell of a start.
