Rumor Control: What Really Happened With Stacey Dash And “Single Ladies”

We finally have a statement from Stacey Dash about whether or not the alleged on-set foolery we’ve been hearing about is the reason she’s no longer on “Single Ladies!” … Or a new layer of confusion to add to the whole thing. Because Stacey’s saying she never got fired ; she quit. “I truly enjoyed playing Val on ‘Single Ladies’, but I have decided to leave the show. I have to be back in LA with my children right now and the ‘Single Ladies’ shooting location makes that impossible. I wish VH1 the best of luck with the show and in maintaining the strong fan base we developed in season one.” And VH1 does seem to have any qualms with that statement. “VH1 respects Stacey’s decision and her commitment to what she feels is best for her family. We thank her for all of her hard work in making ‘Single Ladies’ a success right out of the gate, and we wish her nothing but the best in her future plans.” Sounds like a settlement cum confidentiality agreement to us… Source

Diddy’s concubine Cassie turned 25 this week and the birthday girl also had something else to celebrate. She’s landed yet another magazine cover — this time it’s the September issue of Idoll Magazine, a new magazine created by the modeling industry’s creative brains which was launched this spring. This is only the second issue. Idoll Magazine was made to give the industry a voice and to make people see what it is really about, in times where most people watch TV shows like “America’s Next Topmodel”. Cassie is signed to One Management in NYC. One and more agencies like Wilhelmina, Elite, Next and more are responsible for this magazine. Um… but the Illuminati issue? Really Cassie? Cass also took to her tumblr this week to thank her fans for making a birthday video for her and to let them know some big news — the album is done: Soooooo sorry to my fans… I’ve been M.I.A. on twitter for almost 2 weeks because I can’t access my account. Not to worry though lol… we’re working it out and I’ll be back up and running next week. I just have to say, the video compilation for my birthday was AMAAAAZING!!!! I love you guys so much and I’m making you a video blog tomorrow & guess what?? Shhh… I recorded the last song for my album yesterday. Very excited to share it with you.xxxx We’re very interested to hear what that sounds like. According to our source, Mia’s also been overheard making vacay plans with the baller… Our sources tell us that Mia, who recently received her Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Johnson & Wales, is used to living the good life — helicopter rides, private planes — the works. The stunning 36-year-old Oscar winning star is keen to start a family and doesn’t want to wait any longer to become a mother. Charlize — who is currently single after separating from actor Ryan Reynolds in August after a brief two-month romance — told Germany’s In Touch magazine: “I want a baby. If it would happen tomorrow I would still be very happy about it.” Charlize is also open to the idea of adopting a child and thinks she good provide a wonderful home to a disadvantaged youngster. When asked if she would consider adoption, she said: “Why not? I’m open to everything in life.” At least she could say that she could give her child a truly authentic African upbringing if she went that route… Source

Kimmy Cakes Big Day: No Cellphones Allowed, Metal Detectors And Exclusive Photos To Sell For $1.5 Milli

Kimmy Cakes is set to wed Kris Humphries today and we couldn’t care less be more thrilled. Tents have been erected and preparation is well underway for the event which will be held at 6pm at a Montecito estate. We already know this will be the wedding of every woman’s dreams (except the groom SMH) especially because instead of paying thousands of dollars, Kim will be making lots of money from her wedding, between the sales of the photos and the money E! is giving her to film. According to TMZ reports : People magazine won the bidding war for exclusive wedding day photos, says The Hollywood Reporter, to the tune of $1.5 MILLION. The trade says Kim and hubby-to-be Kris Humphries also raked in $300,000 for the engagement announcement back in May and $100,000 from OK! mag for bridal shower pics. While People Magazine has dibs on the photos, you already know the E! network is going to be filming everything, and to prevent photos and footage from getting out we hear Kimmy Cakes is going to extreme measures to keep it all under wraps: A source tells Us Weekly that no one is allowed to have cell phones, and there will be “metal detectors and body scanners” to make sure the rules are followed! Kim doesn’t want anyone seeing that dress before she’s ready! Speaking of the dress, Vera Wang reportedly designed three different gowns for Kim and doesn’t even know which she’s picked yet, but Kim has been talking a little about her inspiration for the design, crediting her childhood friend Nicole Richie for influencing her decision: “I had this one vision of what I wanted this dress to look like,” Kim told Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS radio show, “Nicole Richie called me and said, “Oh my god, I have this vision for your gown. Just hear me out! I think you should go super classic, really old Hollywood! You can’t go with something trendy, you can’t show off too much”. “So she came over and was drawing out all these [dresses]. It completely changed what I thought I was going with. Baby Daddy Of Woman Who Stated “I Will Pay Someone To Kill My Baby Father” On Facebook Found Dead

Coincidence or was this heffa really crazy enough to pay someone to kill her baby’s father after posting it on Facebook??? “I will pay somebody a stack to kill my baby father,” London Eley wrote on her Facebook status May 23. On Monday night the father of her baby was shot dead in West Philly, police say. Eley was already brought up on murder solicitation and weapons charges for the murder-for-hire Facebook post, and was in court on Monday when a judge upheld those charges. The father of Eley’s baby, 22-year-old Corey White, was shot once in the chest hours after the court hearing, police say. Police cannot yet say if White’s murder had anything to do with Eley’s death wish. White spoke to NBC Philadelphia in June, saying that he was scared for his life. “I never thought she would do anything like that,” White told NBC Philadelphia, with only his shoes showing for the camera. “I didn’t know she was that type of person.” Eley, 19, was arrested June 12 along with the alleged hitman-to-be, 18-year-old Timothy Bynum of Darby. After Eley wrote the status, and commented further that she wanted White “DEAD! HATE HIM,” Bynum responded on the social networking page: “say no more. what he look like. where he be at. need that stack 1st ima mop that bull.” A “stack” is slang for $1,000. “I just took it upon myself to go ahead and make sure that I wouldn’t have any done to me,” White told NBC Philadelphia. “On pictures that [Bynum] has, he has guns his pictures on Facebook. So of course you wouldn’t take anything like that lightly.” White went to police with his aunt, who was the first to see the threatening messages on Facebook. After Monday’s court hearing, defense lawyer Gerald Stein said Eley was only venting and exchanged messages with Bynum for an hour, but never met him. Eley and Bynum have been incarcerated since police arrested them in June. SMH Source
