The 32-year-old recently released a series of summer songs, she’s calling “#FreeFridays”. The four singles, complete with artwork, have been previewed on her Instagram account. All of the songs display a sultry version of Cassie, unlike we’ve heard before. They can be found HERE. Source: Leon Bennett / Getty Cassie Say Team Of Black Women Have Uplifted Her Career Cassie is giving all glory to Black women for giving her career new purpose and effect. In a new interview L’Officiel , the singer/actress/entrepreneur talks about taking her career to the next level now that she is expecting a daughter. “My priorities have absolutely changed, not just for creating an amazing future and life for my daughter, but because I want her to be proud of me,” Cassie shared. “I’ve heard people say that they’re nervous to raise females in today’s world, but I’m excited! I can’t wait to see her grow, learn and challenge the world right back!” A big part of getting to that next level is the work of her new team that is comprised of predominantly Black women. When asked about working with a crew of black female creatives, Cassie explained how the new squad has helped her confidence. “When it comes to me choosing to work with certain people I have to go off of an organic connection. I love the fact that everyone that I work with now communicates fully on every aspect, we are not in competition, we work as a team and they actually understand who I am and who I want to mold myself to become. As a group, we work as a collective. “For me, this is the first time that I feel that I actually have a strong team in place that has my best interests at heart and the added bonus is that the majority of the team are creative black females. To me, it means we see each other,” she continued. “The energy I feel when we’re in a room together is unmatchable. We all have our own levels of experience and we bring our best to the table. We support each other and balance each other out all at the same time. It just works.” We’ll certainly be keeping on eye on Cassie’s moves to see how they reflect this new foray into overt Blackness.
Source: Getty / Getty Texas Couple Found Guilty Of Keeping African Girl As Slave A Northern Texas couple that purchased a Guinean girl at age five and used her as a slave for sixteen years has been found guilty of forcing hard labor on a foreign citizen. Mohamed Toure and Denise Cros-Toure are potentially facing decades in prison after being found guilty of forced labor, conspiracy to harbor an alien for financial gain and the actual act of harboring an alien for financial gain. According to CBS Dallas , the couple forced the young girl to do all the general house labor, including cooking, cleaning, laundry, yard work, and caring for their five children. She was never given access to school or any extracurricular activities like the couple’s children were, even though she was close to their same age. The couple kept all her paperwork and identification, forced her to remain in the US for years after her visa expired (forcing her to be an illegal alien and thus unable to leave their “protection”) and isolated her from her family. They also emotionally and physically abused her. The girl was finally able to escape the home with help from former neighbors. The couple won’t face sentencing for at least another week…but we’re pretty sure they’ll get some heavy time for this one…

Who will he bring, though? According to the God of Bachelor Spoilers (and among men), Reality Steve, his choices have been made. Ready to meet Colton’s final four women – the lucky ones who earned hometown dates with the former football star – and final three? Hannah Godwin is friends with Danielle Maltby, a presence on Nick Viall’s season. Hannah makes a great first impression with Colton. She’s not unattractive. Cassie Randolph, above, is an ESL teacher from Huntington Beach, California. She is 23 years old. Also not unattractive in the least. Tayshia Adams is 28 years old and Orange County, California. There are only three overnight date spots, of course, which means someone didn’t make the cut. According to Steve, we know who. Tayshia Adams, Hannah Godwin, and Cassie Randolph are moving on. Caelynn Miller-Keyes got the chop after hometowns. From everything we’ve gathered so far, Cassie Randolph feels like the front-runner for Colton’s final rose, but we can’t confirm that. Steve’s latest intel suggests overnight dates in Portugal have concluded, and a final rose ceremony is being filmed this week in Spain. So far, though, that’s all we know. Either Steve is playing this close to the vest or hasn’t gathered enough Bachelor spoilers to drop the obligatory bombsell yet. There is still plenty of time left. With filming wrapping soon, Colton, Hannah, Tayshia, and Cassie should be active on the socials again soon, so watch for clues.
