Chandler Jones Hospitalized After Drug-Induced Freak Out That synthetic weed is something else ! A New England football star just learned the hard way that trying to side-step the law with fugazi-trees is a serious roll of the dice with your sanity… Via MailOnline : Patriots star Chandler Jones has apologized after he turned up to a police station half-naked and confused after allegedly smoking synthetic marijuana. The 25-year-old defensive end was taken to hospital after he showed up at the Foxborough, Massachusetts, precinct around around 7:40 AM on Sunday in a pair of blue sweatpants with no shirt, the police report states. The bizarre incident took place just days before the team take on the Kansas City Chiefs in the playoffs, and forced angry head coach Bill Belichek to deflect questions about what happened from reporters. Jones apologized for his antics, saying it was a ‘stupid mistake’, and insisted his main focus was on helping the team win on Saturday night – even though he will be watching from the bench. Jones was seen ‘scurrying’ toward the officer-only back entrance of the station when cops spotted him. Then suddenly, without warning, Jones is said to have dropped to his knees, interlocked his fingers behind his head and began to move slowly toward the ground. ‘Honestly, it appeared as if he was actively praying or worshipping,’ one officer described in the police report. When cops started running towards him, he laid down on his stomach with his arms wide out — and told cops, ‘I’m Chandler Jones’. The player then said he had ‘been told’ to come to the station. But when asked, he couldn’t explain to cops why exactly he was there, the report states. He was rushed to hospital for treatment after telling officers he had left his keys at home. SMH! Drugs are definitely no bueno…but couldn’t he just get his hands on some normal weed? We’ve never heard of regular herbs having people bugging out like this… Getty

Poor Thang: New England Patriots Cut Chad Ochocinco After Trade Attempts Fail, Will Evelyn Still Have His Back???

Won’t this affect that expensive azz wedding he has coming up? After spending Thursday trying to trade wide receiver Chad Ochocinco , the New England Patriots decided to release him, according to league sources. Ochocinco took to Twitter this afternoon to thank the loyal Patriots fans: “Thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to play for the “Patriot” organization… fans were f—— wicked awesome, I wish all of you the best…,” Ochocinco tweeted. The Patriots pushed trade conversations with other teams up to near the end of the day’s transaction deadline at 4 p.m. But despite conversations with other teams, there was not enough interest to make a deal. Ochocinco’s biggest issue in New England was not his ability; it had more to do with his ability to pick up the Patriots playbook, which the veteran wide receiver struggled to do. Earlier Thursday, there had been speculation that this was Ochocinco’s last day with the Patriots because the wide receiver left the training facility before the team’s OTA. However, Ochocinco said later in the day he had not been released and simply was attending an eye doctor’s appointment. In other words Ochocinco couldn’t catch up to speed with the playbook, and the Patriots decided to part ways. Luckily, Ocho isn’t in the same predicament as his good friend, Terell Owens and will more than likely find a new team by the time his name change goes into effect. Aniston joined her “Wanderlust” co-star Paul Rudd for “MTV First” to take Twitter questions from fans — one of whom happened to be film critic and entertainment journalist Ben Lyons, who got a little ribbing from the two stars as well as MTV News” Josh Horowitz for not asking the question himself, before the team got to his question: “What will we see first? A “Clueless” or “Friends” reunion?” The actress” reaction was slightly flustered but swift. “No, there will be none,” she said. “I don’t think so. … Wouldn’t that be weird? I would be like, “Oh god, why did they do that?” ” Rudd also answered in the negative regarding a reunion of the beloved “90s teen flick, crushing the hearts of fans who may be wondering what became of Cher (Alicia Silverstone) and Josh’s (Rudd) relationship. “Well, you know, “Clueless” was “Emma,” ” Rudd said of the movie’s literary inspiration, which had no sequel. “So I don’t know what you”d do.” The comely pair also told MTV News that they wouldn’t be a good fit for the commune lifestyle their “Wanderlust” characters are thrust into in the film, which hits theaters Friday. “I don’t think I could exist realistically in that kind of setting,” Aniston told MTV News. “But there’s a version of that groups of friends in close proximity [and] in my early 20s, I had that. Wiz Khalifa To Perform ‘Black And Yellow’ Before AFC Championship Game

The upstart rapper has been tapped by the NFL’s Pittsburgh Steelers to perform his breakout hit “Black and Yellow” before the team’s AFC championship game against the New York Jets on Sunday. One of MTV News’ 11 for 11 , the MC will take to Pittsburgh’s Heinz Field prior to the game’s 6:30 p.m. ET kickoff in hopes of helping the Steelers return to the Super Bowl. “I’ve always had that Pittsburgh pride. I just wanted to let people know where I’m from and represent any way I can, and what better way than through our colors?” Wiz said in a statement released by his label. “I took that hometown pride and put it in a song.” The news is just the latest is a line of accomplishments for the young lyricist. Earlier this month, Wiz and Snoop released a video for “That Good,” the pair’s first single from “High School,” their forthcoming collaborative movie and soundtrack. Late last year, the two breezy stars first joined forces for the G-mix “Black and Yellow” remix . As a longtime Steelers fan, Snoop had no problem giving it up on the Pit anthem. The Los Angeles native even donned the signature colors in the clip alongside Wiz, who sported a Steelers fitted hat, Pittsburgh Pirates jacket and custom Taylor Gang sweater in — what else? — black and yellow.
