The Duggars are officially set to welcome yet another family member. Which of these reality stars is pregnant now , you may be wondering? No one, at least not as of this writing. But Joy-Anna Duggar is engaged to Austin Forsyth , with the 19-year old daughter of Jim Bob and Michelle confirming the exciting news herself just a few days ago. “We just got engaged!” Joy-Anna told Us Weekly in early March. “I’m so excited to be engaged to my best friend.” The two have known each other for 15 years, but only just started courting in mid-November. “I'm so excited to be engaged because that means the next step is marriage,” Joy-Anna added, explaining the engagement concept for those unaware of how it works and adding: “I’m excited to see what the future holds for us!” And Joy-Anna isn't the only Duggar who feels this way. Jessa Duggar and husband Ben Seewald recorded a sweet video last night to congratulate Jim Bob and Michelle's fifth-oldest daughter on her new relationship status. “Hey, Joy and Austin, congratulations,” Ben says in the clip, which features him holding 16-month old son Spurgeon and Jessa cradling one-month hold son Henry. Jessa then directs her attention to Joy-Anna and Austin, who are even holding hands now , and chimes in as follows: “We’re super excited for y’all getting engaged, and we are looking forward to the big day – your wedding day. The little boys say congratulations too.” Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard had previously sent well wishes to the engaged couple via their own TLC-produced video. “Hey Joy and Austin, congratulations. We just heard the good news on the engagement,” Derick says in that piece of footage. “Yeah, we’re so excited for you all!” Jill adds. Check out Jessa and Ben's video below and then send along your own congratulatory message to Joy-Anna and the man she may one day kiss now!
Jessa Duggar just became a mother for the second time this month. Now the Counting On star is back with a new photo of her baby boy! Her adorable baby boy, in case that doesn’t go without saying … “My [heart emoji] is full,” the mom of two captioned the photo. As the Seewald household grows, so do all of their hearts. It’s a feeling all parents out there know, even when their children grow up. On Tuesday, Jessa posted the above picture of newborn Henry Wilberforce fast sleep in her arms while his big brother Spurgeon plays. Spurge was born just 15 months ago, and boy has he grown! While he didn’t initially know exactly what to make of his infant brother, who was born on February 6, he’s taking well to it now, Jessa says. “We thought, ‘This is going to be so adorable,’ but he wasn’t really sure about it,” the 24-year-old said. “He thought Henry was a toy.” Having two kids so close in age is something Ben and Jessa have expressed excitement about, but right now, that age is really little. Naturally, the new big brother “wanted to touch his eyes and put his finger in the baby’s mouth” and he “has no concept of being soft.” He will learn that in time. Maybe … hopefully. As for adding to their family, Jessa admitted that before they can think about expanding, they first need to expand their square footage. “We just need a little more space,” she said. “We’re always checking the market!” Jessa also posted a photo of herself twinning with her son, and we can’t get over how cute they are – and how much they look alike! Like Spurgeon, Henry wasn’t Henry when he came into the world. Only a few days later did Ben and Jessa settle on his (unique) moniker. Henry Wilberforce Seewald and Spurgeon Elliot Seewald share their parents’ propensity for baby names, and also obvious share genes. Reports of Jessa and Ben planning baby #3 are getting a lot of press, but in the short term, they seem focused on the tasks at hand. Life with a baby and toddler at home is mighty hectic, but from all indications, Jessa and Ben are natural parents who handle it well. At least as well as you could expect. In an interview with People magazine, they shared that a little 2-on-2 isn’t that arduous a task, considering what might come along soon. “I take one. He takes the other,” Jessa said, while Ben – a big Arkansas basketball fan – used a sports metaphor to describe his parenting. Says the proud 21-year-old dad: “Right now we have two kids and two of us, so it’s man-to-man coverage. When we have more, we’ll have to switch it up to a zone defense!” Over the moon with their new addition – both of the new additions, to be fair – it’s no surprise that the spirits are positive for the Seewalds. If and when they do get around to having a third, which we honestly doing expect to be too far in the distant future, parenthood suits them. George Lopez wants everyone who comes to see him perform in person to have a good time. Like, he REALLY wants them to have a good time. In video of the comedian that was posted this week on TMZ, we see Lopez turn quickly on an audience member who doesn’t respond very positively to a joke he just told. “There are only 2 rules in the Latino family: don't marry somebody black and don't park in front of our house,” Lopez cracks to the crowd, prompting mostly laughter from those in attendance. But one woman sitting pretty close to the stage actually raises her middle finger and points it in Lopez's direction. Instead of ignoring the woman and moving on, Lopez does the exact opposite. “Sit your f-cking ass down… I'm talking bitch,” he says in the footage below, continuing: “You paid to see a show, sit your ass down. You can't take a joke you're in the wrong motherf-king place. Sit your ass down or get the f-k out of here.” Lopez then makes the decision for her. “I tell you what, I'll make the choice for you. Get the f-ck out of here,” he says, as the woman is seen being escorted from her table. “Four seats just opened up front.” Did the comedian go too far? Or was the last asking for it based on her flipping Lopez the bird? WATCH AND DECIDE FOR YOURSELF:
Say what you will about the Duggars, but they sure do make some sweet babies. And we know that because Jessa Duggar just gave birth to her second baby , a precious little boy, two days ago, and we've already got an official video of the little guy from TLC! How do these people have time for things like this? Jessa has a one-year-old and a newborn, how is she functioning this well? How is she at home and looking this good so soon after having this baby? We don't have the answers to all these questions, and honestly, we don't need them. Not when we've got that adorable little baby to look at! But we're not the only ones tearing up over how darling all of this is — obviously, right? How weird would that be? In Baby Seewald #2's intro video here, Jessa says that “When the baby was finally born and we got to hold him for the first time, I started crying. And I think Ben had tears in his eyes.” She says that she's excited to have two little boys so close in age so they can “be best friends” and enjoy playing together. As for the new kid's name, they still haven't decided on one yet . Ben says that he's “probably going to have a unique name, sort of like Spurgeon's,” but there's nothing official yet. Check out all the info — and that baby! — in the seriously cute video below:
Will the ladies ever be able to play nice? That was questioned several times on Love & Hip Hop Season 7 Episode 13 as the trip to Cancun continued. Watch Love & Hip Hop Season 7 Episode 13 Online We picked things up with the reveal that Yandy and Juju were still very much against one another. As you probably recall if you watch Love & Hip online , Juju wrote about Yandy’s personal life in her tell-all. Yandy felt betrayed and it’s perfectly understandable why. Juju proved she was not the best person to have in her life. Juju, however, put the blame on Yandy and said that Yandy was making everything about her. When the pair finally met up, they came to blows once more. Juju was quick to point out that she did not reveal anything about Yandy in the book and that she was taking it to extremes. At first, this did not sit well with Yandy. However, after some more promises, Yandy agreed that she went too far and both women put their feud to bed. Elsewhere, Samantha, Kim and Erica got together to discuss Lil’ Mendeecees birthday party. The ladies were less than impressed that Yandy was not around to help, or even pay some money for the event. Eventually, Samantha decided it would be best to just plan the party herself and invite Yandy to the event. Later, she went to the prison to visit Mendeecees, but she was shocked to learn that he had blocked her mother and Erika from visiting the prison. She tried to question him, but Mendeecees was not in the mood to give out answers. Yandy met up with Samantha and the pair spoke about how much effort they have been putting in. Samantha felt like Yandy was not putting in much of an effort. View Slideshow: Love & Hip Hop Cast Rankings: Who Can Actually Sing? Yandy claimed she tried to contact Samantha while in Mexico, but there was no answer. Samantha said that Yandy would need to accept that Mendeecees had a relationship with her. There was no point in the ladies continuing to bicker. Yandy agreed that it would be the best course of action for them to move forward. Aside from all the drama, Rich brought his daughter in to work as his new assistant. Ashley did not want her father to be a creep, so she questioned his choice in women. She decided to take control of his love life and set him up on a blind date. However, Rich was shocked when Ashley’s mother appeared. We never really found out what went wrong for them, but Ashley felt there were still some feelings there. Things were going well and Rich even made it clear he had a hotel room. Rich is back, you guys! Finally, Yandy and Kimbella discussed the drama with Samantha. Kimbella said she would be going to the party, but Yandy was worried there would be even more drama. Yandy decided against going to the party, while Kimbella showed up at the last minute. The other moms felt like Yandy had sent her to cause drama. Yes, the feud is most definitely back on. The gender of Jessa and Ben’s second baby was addressed on Counting On Season 2 Episode 17 , but of course, we didn’t hear about it. Ben and Jessa finally got the news they were looking for, but didn’t share it with fans … however, we can tell you with certainty anyway: Jessa Duggar gave birth to a boy . Yesterday! Watch Counting On Season 2 Episode 17 Online If you watch Counting On online , you know Jessa and Ben are loving teasing their pregnancy while not actually giving any details away. Case in point? Ben and Jessa decided they were going to keep the gender secret from everyone … well every one of their fans, anyway. Jana and Joy got to find out! Lucky! This was a pretty big show of trust, but on the flip side, what are they going to do, blab about it on non-pre-screened Instagram accounts? In all seriousness, Jessa joked that they want to keep the gender a secret “because we like to torture people,” but really it’s just personal. “Whenever you actually get to see the baby for the first time, it just blows you away,” Jessa said regarding the sonogram appointment. Duggars Try to Predict Jessa’s Baby’s Gender! Watch! They kicked the camera crew out before the tech revealed the gender, but again, Jessa gave birth to a boy before this episode aired. Note to the Duggars: When your claim to reality TV fame is babies and pregnancies, you might want to manage the reveals a bit better. Just some food for thought there. It’s not like you can count on Jeremy Vuolo’s bachelor party for ratings. He and his friends decided to partake in an escape room challenge. Yep. With Jinger Duggar, no less. Putting a group of people in a room with hidden clues to see if they can “escape” before “time runs out” is a fun night, don’t get us wrong. As a bachelor party, though? View Slideshow: 13 Things BANNED in the Duggar Family “As part of personal conviction, my family doesn’t drink alcohol or dance,” Jessa revealed, as if we were somehow new to the Duggars. “We have tons of fun in other ways.” The guys and girls (who split up in teams, because you don’t want couples sneaking off un-chaperoned) were equally bad at the mission. Fortunately, this wasn’t Naked and Afraid (though we would love to see how the Duggars handled those circumstances) so no one died. The guys went golfing later, where Ben shot a 21 in one hole, while the cratfy girls made jewelry to wear during the upcoming ceremony. The excitement never stops. Jill Duggar Pregnancy Announcement In a short segment, Jill and Derick Dillard reminded us that they are also pregnant, and that their second baby would be another boy. Then it was more of the bachelor party, where Jinger discussed her upcoming first kiss, and her sisters shared their respective memories. Like Jill (but not Jessa), Jinger was prepared to do so in public, and while she worried that it might be a little “awkward,” she was excited. Perhaps that talk of Jinger Duggar breaking courtship rules was overblown. Joy-Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth on the other hand … Jessa lamented Jinger’s wedding, not because of courtship rules, bit because she would be packing up and moving to Texas afterward. “That’s going to be really, really tough for me,” Jessa said, and it hard to blame her for being sad, living 12 hours away from her BFF. On a different note, Derick Dillard was the mascot, Pistol Pete, at OSU (they’re the Oklahoma State Cowboys), like his father before him. Taking a trip down memory lane in Stillwater, Ok., he took his mom, Jill and Israel around the campus, showing us all of his old haunts. Later, he donned the Pistol Pete costume one last time and headed out to entertain the fans, and we have to say, Der’s alter ego is fun. For Derick’s mom, it was emotional, remembering her own times there, like carving her initials with her late husband’s into wet pavement. OSU was also where she arrived at Derick’s dorm room unannounced to tell him his father had died of a heart attack when Der was 18. As we saw Israel knocking on the door of Derick’s old dorm room at the end of the night, his mom noted that they had come “full circle.” Indeed, and in a way, it’s a beautiful thing.
How many babies are Ben and Jessa Seewald expecting? Last night, Counting On Season 3 Episode 2 finally answered that burning question among card carrying members of Duggar Nation. If you watch Jill & Jessa Counting On online , you know that twins run in her family. Jessa’s mom Michelle Duggar had two pair, in fact. It’s also no secret that Jessa and Ben Seewald love hyping up their pregnancy reveals, so this storyline was part for the course. They attempted, with the assistance of Jill, to find out if it’s twins. Jill asked, “Well Jess, do you want to listen to your little baby’s heartbeat?” Jill, who’s trained as a midwife, admitted that she gets some enjoyment out of this as well: “It’s fun to get my hands on her belly.” Jessa couldn’t help but smile widely. “I haven’t really been showing so it’s nice to know there’s a baby in there,” the 18-weeks-pregnant TLC star laughed. “I’m not just sick!” “Not having an ultrasound, we don’t know if it’s twins,” Jessa added. “We think it’s one, [but] you never know” until you know. Twins or not, “this pregnancy has been different than my first pregnancy in many ways,” Jessa opened up during a confessional interview. “I’ve had way more food aversions and certain things like coffee, chicken, popcorn, random things – we couldn’t even have them in the house.” “I didn’t have that with Spurgeon.” “Ben and I both feel like it’s a boy,” she adds. “I don’t know why. When we found out we were expecting, we both just thought it was a boy!” Boy or girl, twins or not, the latest Duggar is scheduled to arrive next month, and the couple is over the moon about the new arrival. And likely the fact that they just milked material for almost an entire episode of their reality show without making any significant reveals. That takes talent, people. If we’ve learned anything watching the Duggars over the years, it’s that they love pickles as much as they hate full-frontal hard core hugging. A LOT, to say the absolute least. Fittingly, then, Jinger Duggar made plans to have a “relish bar” (i.e. trays of pickles) on her wedding day, when the side hugs cease! With an expected 1,200 guests, that means an a– ton of pickles, cheese, crackers, meatballs, coffee and more to serve the people. Showing her sense of humor, Jinger pranked Jeremy on FaceTime, saying she was going to sing to him while they lit their unity candle. Jeremy paused awkwardly before Jinger and her sisters broke down and revealed that they’d pulled one over on the pastor from Texas. We would pay to see that. View Slideshow: 13 Things BANNED in the Duggar Family Ben and Jessa, when they’re not having kids and talking about whether or not it’s twins, are friends with Christian hip-hop artist Flame. Laugh if you want, but Flame has built up a nice following. The friendship Ben and Jessa have with the rapper and his wife may also be why Seewald has developed a reputation for being “woke.” “I’m probably not going to have a career in music,” Ben admitted, having tried his hand in the studio at one point. “At least, not rapping.” “Personally, I think Ben is pretty good at spittin’ some bars,” Jessa said, with a degree of sarcasm and massive amounts of street cred. Lack of talent aside, that doesn’t mean they can’t be fans, though, and Ben, Jessa and Spurge decided to go see Flame perform live. Don’t worry, Spurge had noise-canceling headphones. View Slideshow: Jessa Duggar Baby Bump Pics: 2 & Counting! Evidently, soaking the front rows with water is a staple of Flame’s concerts, and Ben got to do the fun honors with a giant water gun. He was a little nervous about going out there, but just like a lot of situations in life, the only way to conquer that fear is to do it head on. “Don’t fall off the stage,” Jessa advised her husband. Just “don’t trip over any of the cables … go for it.” Words to live by when spraying a sweaty crowd.
It’s been a tough election season for voters of an evangelical stripe. Usually, the GOP serves up some Corinthians-quoting loaf of sentient Wonder Bread to ensure the support of non-millionaires who are kept up nights by the thought of married gay couples barging into their homes, confiscating their guns, and using the weapons to force pregnant women into abortion clinics. This year, however, Republicans threw their base a big orange curveball that wants to grope every part of your strike zone: Soon after it became apparent that he had a real chance to shock the world (and himself) by securing his party’s nomination, Donald Trump began to court evangelicals by paying lip service to traditional conservative Christian beliefs. It was a tough sell from the start, and it became even more difficult to convince voters that this foulmouthed, thrice-married billionaire is a champion of family values once his ” grab ’em by the p–sy ” policy became public knowledge. One family who seems a bit torn by the conflict between Trump’s campaign promises and every single other thing about the man is reality TV’s Duggar clan. You might know them from 19 Kids and Counting , the Josh Duggar sex scandals, or their ongoing post-scandal replacement series, the bafflingly-titled, Counting On . No one who has anything other than 1,700 versions of the Bible on their Kindle has ever had that many kids (fact, we looked it up), so needless to say, the Duggars are quite conservative on social matters. But Donald Trump has been accused of groping a porn star and he tweets about sex tapes at 3 am . Endorsing him isn’t exactly a great look for a family that’s still coping with the fallout of its own recent sex scandal. But if you thought that would stop the Dugz from throwing support behind the Cheeto-fingered predator their party nominated, you don’t know the American political climate in 2016. We already knew that Duggar son-in-law Derick Dillard would be voting for Trump . Now, it seems the rest of the family has also reluctantly decided to back the Donald – but they’ve decided to continue to let Der do the talking. The Duggars have close ties to both Mike Huckabee and Ted Cruz, both of whom previously opposed Trump’s run for office, but have since expressed their support for the human throbbing forehead vein of American politics. Insiders say the Duggars have followed suit, but will continue to have Derick do the talking, so as not to alienate members of their ever-shrinking audience who actually hold the beliefs that the Duggars adhere to when it’s convenient. “Voting for Trump doesn’t = condoning his lifestyle. It just means agreeing with more of his policies than Clinton’s,” Derick tweeted earlier this week… …as though we’ve suddenly been plunged into the heart of a bizarro land where evangelical voters suddenly don’t care about the perceived moral failings of their elected officials. Sources say the other Duggars have privately echoed Derick’s sentiments, but their beliefs have more to do with maintaining hard-earned political alliances than with their belief in Trump as a candidate. However, there’s one member of the extended Duggar clan who seems more than a bit troubled by the possibility of a Trump presidency: Jessa Duggar’s husband, Ben Seewald. In recent weeks, Seewald has expressed support for the Black Lives Matter movement , told white Christians to “wake up” with regard to racial injustice in America, and publicly shared his doubts about Trump’s fitness to hold the highest office in the land: “Trump’s 2005 remarks about women is completely contrary to everything that we believe in as Christians,” Seewald recently tweeted, demonstrating both a willingness to think for himself and a poor understanding of subject-verb agreement. He later added: “Evangelicals don’t trust Clinton with SCOTUS or executive orders and Trump with nuclear codes or our wives.” View Slideshow: 17 Celebrities Who Actually Support Donald Trump So it remains unclear who Seewald will vote for, but he’s clearly no great fan of Trump’s. Reached for comment, we imagine Trump would say that he’s happy to have the Duggars’ support. Not because they’re influential conservative Christians, but because Omarosa convinced him he had the reality star bloc locked up, but he has his doubts since losing the Kimye vote.
Tuesday on Counting On Season 3 Episode 6 , Ben Seewald joined forces with NFL stars to give back to the Northwest Arkansas community. Also, Jinger Duggar and Jeremy Vuolo planned a trip to New York City. Come along as THG recaps all of these key events and more. Watch Jill & Jessa Counting On Season 3 Episode 6 Online “Sports can be a great avenue to invest in kid’s lives,” Ben told producers in the not-so-articulate fashion fans have come to know and love. Ben is usually a source of boundless optimism for wife Jessa and the other people in his life, but last night’s episode featured a rare moment of self-doubt for the 21-year-old. “If the camp doesn’t go well, I’m going to feel pretty bad,” Ben said at one point. Fortunately, with the help of former Steelers and Colts linebacker Steve Conley, the camp went off without a hitch. Crisis of self-confidence averted! Elsewhere in the episode, Jinger Duggar prepared for a trip to the East Coast with fiance Jeremy Vuolo. Of course, this was before Jinger and Jeremy got engaged . So yes, Jinger traveled with a whole crew of chaperones (Michelle, Jessa, Ben, and even Baby Spurgeon). The Duggar devoted may have already known this as the trip that prompted Jinger’s hair crisis . Jinger Duggar: Curling Iron Crisis! More importantly, however, it’s also the trip on which Jeremy popped the question. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to see that moment in last night’s installment. But that doesn’t mean the episode ended on a cliffhanger. If you watch Jill & Jessa Counting On online , you are keenly aware that Jeremy has already made his intentions very clear to Jim Bob Duggar and the rest of Jinger’s family. Just to drive the point home, he made certain to point out that he was packing the ring that he and JB had picked out for the occasion. “I’ve got a small surprise for Jinger you could say,” Jeremy told the cameras with a smirk. Ben told the cameras, “Jinger has no idea what’s coming for her!” We think she might have an inkling Ben. Y’all haven’t exactly been subtle in keeping in plotting this little surprise. In other contrived plot lines, Jana Duggar set out to redecorate the guesthouse in preparation for Jill and Derick returning from abroad. Hey, other people have to do something while the Jinger and Jeremy show marches on, right? It’s reaching the point that Jinger’s siblings might be more eager for her to just go ahead and get married than she is. On second thought, no one is more eager for Jinger’s wedding than Jinger is. In fact, it’s possible that no one has ever been more eager for anything than Jinger is for her wedding. View Slideshow: Jinger Duggar Photos: From Childhood to Courtship! We can’t say we blame her. The girl’s 22 and her physical contact with the opposite sex has been limited to side hugs. Should be a fun wedding night. Just sayin’.
Demi Lovato is busy making new music these days, while also planning a tour with Nick Jonas and remaining clean and sober . In other words: she doesn’t have time for your crap. Hear that, haters? On Tuesday afternoon, the artist felt a need to defend herself on Twitter after a couple people apparently grew upset at her ignoring them in public. “No matter how long I’ve been doing this, sometimes the madness with the yelling and pushing becomes overwhelming and to avoid people either getting hurt or having more anxiety, I go inside hoping my fans will understand,” Lovato wrote. She didn’t delve into specifics, but it seems as if some fans were hoping for an autograph and/or a few moments with the singer. But Lovato was simply unable to provide them with either. “Today I had 2 instances where I had rude things yelled at me because I didn’t stop for every single person,” she added. “When stuff like that happens it actually really sucks. It’s not okay and just remember, I’m used to getting hate but I’m human too. So please..Take your negativity elsewhere.” Lovato, of course, is never afraid to speak her mind. She even called out Taylor Swift last month for being a fake feminist. In this case, however, Demi said her piece and then moved on to a professional announcement: She and Jonas will be headlining the 15th anniversary of the Honda Civic Tour: Future Now where attendees will get to hear all their old singles and new tracks, including Demi’s single “Stone Cold.” “Being able to tour with someone you have considered one of your best friends for 9, 10 years, you don’t get to do that often,” Lovato said at this week’s press conference, teasing a duet in the process: “We are working out the details, we are trying to figure everything out. We want it to be an unforgettable experience. We are very hands on with all the details. If you ask me in two months I can give you a solid answer.”
