Nor do I speak on him on his behalf. I also am not fond of dealing with my personal issues or personal life experience through social media but, I feel things are starting to get out of hand.” She added, “Unfortunately, for my own personal reasonings and for all my family has endured in regards to him, his life decisions, and his last name, it has been years since my siblings and I have seen and or have spoke to him. Source: Randy Shropshire / Getty The rocky relationship between Destiny developer Bungie and publisher Activision is over. In a shocking turn of events, the studio announced the split and that it will be keeping the game. The divorce between the two was years in the making, and it existed long before the first game hit shelves. Bungie broke the news to its employees during a team meeting describing the split as fantastic news. Bungie’s employees who have grown tired of having to deal with Activision celebrated the news by popping champagne according to one person in attendance. In a blog post , Bungie had this to say about the split: “We have enjoyed a successful eight-year run and would like to thank Activision for their partnership on Destiny, Looking ahead, we’re excited to announce plans for Activision to transfer publishing rights for Destiny to Bungie. With our remarkable Destiny community, we are ready to publish on our own, while Activision will increase their focus on owned IP projects.” Since its launch back in September 2014, Destiny’s introduction to the video world has been a rocky one because of its slow roll-out of content in the form of updates and expansions. Bungie’ most recent release Destiny 2: The Forsaken has been well received by fans but failed to meet Activision’s sales expectations. With its newly gained freedom, Bungie is looking forward to a much better future for the game due to no longer being constrained to Activision’s annualized schedule. “We’ll continue to deliver on the existing Destiny roadmap, and we’re looking forward to releasing more seasonal experiences in the coming months, as well as surprising our community with some exciting announcements about what lies beyond.” Bungie also has a new game coming very soon as well thanks to a $100 million investment from NetEase. Activision stated via its Twitter account that Destiny 2 will remain on Blizzards Battle.Net. We are looking forward to what Bungie has in store for Destiny 2 .
Source: Mongkol Nitirojsakul / EyeEm / Getty The state of Kansas has finally passed a new law that provides compensation to people who are wrongly imprisoned — and first up to receive his retribution is 42-year-old Richard Anthony Jones. According to NBC News , Jones spent 17 years in prison for a crime he has always insisted he didn’t commit. Then attorneys discovered that there was a man who looked nearly identical to him and had a similar name. Back in June 2017, Jones was released from prison after witnesses said they could barely tell the difference between the two men and no longer thought Jones was guilty. On Monday, a settlement was reached and the state of Kansas agreed to pay Jones $1.1 million for his wrongful conviction. Jones was arrested in 1999 for an attack and robbery in the parking lot of a Walmart in Roeland Park, Kansas. Reports say that physical evidence linked Jones to the crime, but he fit the description of the suspect. Two other mistaken conviction lawsuits are currently pending in Kansas. Hopefully justice will be served.

Vic Mensa recently stated in an interview with LA’s REAL 92.3 that 69 stole his whole sound from Chicago Drill rap… And Tekashi’s number one supporter, DJ Akademiks decided to chime in. Vic then went on to invite the rainbow haired Brooklyn rapper to “see me with the hands” and threatened Ak saying, “it’s on sight when I see you.” It didn’t take long for Tekashi to chime in with the most disrespectful comment ever. But why all the hostility between the two emcees and the Internet personality? Hit the flip to see the beef breakdown. via GIPHY
Source: Kevin Winter / Getty Virgil Abloh ‘s very highly-anticipated debut as the Artistic Director of Louis Vuitton’s menswear started on Wednesday at Paris Fashion Week, and a lot of his friends were there to see his big moment. Among the people in attendance was Kanye West , and this sparked an incredibly emotional reunion between the two Chicago natives. The affair included appearances Kim Kardashian , Travis Scott and Kylie Jenner in the front row, along with Kid Cudi –who actually walked in the show. As the show ends and Abloh makes his walk down the runway following the models, the show was concluded on an emotional note as Ye and Virgil spotted one another. In the footage, the designer is seen making his post-show walk down the runway at the Jardin du Palais Royal. As Virgil nears the end of the runway, he excitedly spots Kanye, who extends his arms out for a hug. The two longtime friends then hug one another and can be heard sobbing as they reunite for what looks like the first time in a while. For anyone who has been following either of these guys for a while, this is a huge moment. Back in 2002, the pair interned together at Fendi, which led to Virgil then taking on the role of artistic director for Kanye’s creative agency Donda. During a recent sit-down with Charlamange Tha God, Ye revealed that Virgil shared the historic news about his job at Louis Vuitton only “about two minutes before it hit the internet.”
They rose to fame on YouTube. They expressed their love and affection for each other on YouTube. So it's only appropriate that Liza Koshy and David Dobrik have now broken up on YouTube as well. In a six-minute video that featured a few attempts at humor and a great number of tears being shed, the Internet stars talked openly about the end of their romance. (Which actually took place six months ago, but which they only chose to share with their fans now.) Based on the footage below, it sounds as if Koshy is the one who chose to split from Dobrik, as she acknowledged she's been going through a “rough” patch in life. “Liza broke up with me because she felt like we’ve been distant because we’ve been so busy,” Dobrik said, adding; “As much as I hate to admit it, I was feeling it on my side too, but I just don’t have the balls to pull the trigger on that.” Koshy rose to prominence online by posting comedy videos on Vine in 2013, prior to going on to become a huge YouTube star on her two YouTube channels, as well as a television presenter and actor. Dobrik, meanwhile, took a similar path to fame via Vine and YouTube, where he also has two channels. Between the two of them, Koshy and Dobrik have more than 20 million followers. Yes… 20 MILLION ! They started dating back in 2015. Together as a couple, Liza and David let fans in on their funny adventures comedic bits/skits, helping Web users feel as if they really knew the pair well. Hence the viral sadness that has accompanied this split. “This is going to sound so lame but I really want to spread love but I have to have it first,” Koshy says at one point. “It’s like saying you’re going to spread mayonnaise when you only have mustard.” For the duration of the video, the stars tried to keep things light, but they kept breaking down once reality set in. “All jokes aside,” Dobrik said. “We are broken up.” And followers are NOT taking it well. To wit: So go grab yourself a box of Kleenezx and click PLAY on the video below. It will be sad, but worthwhile.
