Lo Bosworth wants a talk show, while Stephanie Pratt will continue in fashion. By Jocelyn Vena Kristin Cavallari Photo: Christina Garibaldi/ MTV News The long-awaited final season of “The Hills” premiered at last on Tuesday night. Now, with only 11 episodes to go, many fans have been wondering what’s up next for the “Hills” cast. MTV News caught up with some of the stars, who said they won’t be stepping out of the spotlight anytime soon. “I’m transitioning to hosting, so I would love to host a style show, a travel show, a cooking show,” Lo Bosworth told MTV News . “Something like that next. … I think a long-term goal for me is to be on a talk show. I would love, love, love to do that. I have some off-camera projects that are going, but I can’t reveal them yet — but very soon. I am really excited for the next step.” Like Bosworth, co-star Kristin Cavallari is also looking to continue her career in television — but behind the lens. “Going back to ‘The Hills,’ I’ve enjoyed seeing the behind the scenes and how everything gets put together, the TV magic,” she said. “So I want to start producing. I’ve been pitching some shows and talking to some people about that. So, hopefully, right away I can get one of those running, and then I want to keep acting. I would like that. I like being in charge and calling the shots.” Although there’s been talk that Audrina Patridge may land her own reality show, she said that a break was foremost on her mind. “I plan on taking a vacation,” she said. “I really want to go to Europe and just travel and hang out with my friends and family down in Orange County. But other than that, I’m still going to castings and still going to auditions for acting, definitely going to continue pushing for that. I would love to do a time piece, like, medieval. I love ‘The Tudors’ and I love ‘Troy’ and those types of movies. So, that’s my dream.” With her castmates eyeing the film and television worlds, Stephanie Pratt said she’ll focus on fashion . While on the show, Pratt enrolled at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising. “My original goal before ‘The Hills’ was a career in fashion,” she said. “I’m designing handbags right now with a partner, and other leather accessories.” What would you like to see “The Hills” stars do next? By Jocelyn Vena Stephanie Pratt and Lo Bosworth Photo: MTV News Lo Bosworth made her reality-TV debut as a high schooler (and Lauren Conrad’s bestie) on “Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County,” eventually easing into her role as self-proclaimed gossip on “The Hills.” Now, Bosworth is more amped than ever for the final season’s big premiere Tuesday night (April 27). “I’m actually really excited!” she told MTV News. “You know, in seasons past, [the premieres] sort of [just] happened, but I think I’m looking forward to it, because it is the last season. So it’s sort of a big moment for all of us. I’m actually excited about the content on the show this season. It’s a momentous occasion in my life.” Between the two series, Bosworth has spent years in front of the camera. While she admitted she’s happy to be moving on, saying goodbye is still bittersweet: “It’s sort of a mixture of feelings — a little bit relief, a little bit sadness. “Everybody’s really excited to be moving on,” she added. “It’s … the nature of the beast. The filming of the show this season has truly been one of the best. I’m sad that it’s coming to an end.” The season-six premiere will touch on some hot-button subjects, from Heidi Montag’s plastic surgery to Kristin Cavallari addressing rumors about her hard-partying ways. Bosworth thinks those story lines will give fans what they’ve come to expect (and more) from “The Hills.” “I think viewers are really excited to get the real story. We didn’t know if the show was going to go on without Lauren at all,” Bosworth said of LC’s departure in season five. “Having Kristin, the show was an experiment, and definitely one that succeeded. By Jocelyn Vena Stephanie Pratt and Lo Bosworth Photo: MTV News As fans gear up for the Tuesday night premiere of the final season of “The Hills,” Lo Bosworth and Stephanie Pratt promise that — while the past five seasons have given us amazing moments — the best is yet to come. “Lots of drama,” Bosworth told MTV News when asked what castmate Kristin Cavallari has brewing for season six. “Kristin’s our girl, though. We really are all friends. … We just have so much fun together. We love her no matter what she does. That’s just how it is.” While Kristin’s dating drama became a recurring season-five story line, Lo says her own love life could “potentially” wind up onscreen too. But Bosworth played coy: “I don’t really know.” Pratt was more forthcoming: “I’m dating someone on the show and I’m just so picky. It’s so bad. Audrina and Lo kind of set me up on so many dates, and half of them are good guys. … Audrina hooks me [up with], like, guys who … my God, I don’t even know where she finds them!” Last month, Bosworth and Pratt spoke to MTV News about “The Hills” farewell . To Bosworth, it still seemed strange. “We were, I think, anticipating it was going to come to an end, but it’s sort of surreal, ’cause this has been our lives,” she said. “And to have that change is sort of scary, but we’re all really excited.” Pratt thinks now is an ideal time to say goodbye, with the “Hills” stars having gotten older and wiser since the show’s debut four years ago. “I called Lo right after I heard [about the show ending] just to see if she knew,” Pratt said. “I pretty much figured it was the last season. We all have really grown up, and we really don’t go to nightclubs every night anymore. We’re just, like, more mature. I mean, we still fight with each other, but it’s the sixth season.
