It’s been over two months now since Jessa Duggar gave birth to her third child and her first daughter, precious little Ivy. It really doesn’t seem like it’s been that long, right? Time flies when your family breeds like literal rabbits! With all the Duggar pregnancy announcements and updates and speculation that’s been happening lately, are we honestly supposed to be able to keep up? But for the sake of discussing what we’re discussing today, just remember that Jessa had Ivy at the end of May . And sometime in July … she disappeared. Or, OK, yeah, that might be a little dramatic. We’re pretty sure she’s just at home, probably completely overwhelmed with having three children under the age of three. What we mean is that she disappeared from social media. Jessa has always been pretty active on Instagram, and even after Ivy was born, she shared tons of pictures of her. There were photos of Ivy, photos of Ivy’s baby toes, photos of Ivy with her big brothers, photos of Spurgeon and Henry, too — lots and lots of photos. On July 10th, she shared a photo of Ivy with a pacifier, and then … She was never heard from again . She hasn’t been posting to her Instagram stories, and Ben hasn’t posted on his Instagram at all in a couple of years, so we really have no clue what she’s been up to. Besides, you know, babies. Ben’s family has an Instagram of their own, so we’ve been seeing some photos of the kids there, but we haven’t had a glimpse at Jessa for several weeks now. And her fans are getting kind of concerned about it. This week, Ben’s family shared a photo of him reading to the boys, and they tagged Jessa as the photographer, and in the comments on that post, there were some questions. “Is Jessa OK?” one person asked. “I have been wondering about her, miss her!” “I don’t know,” someone else replied, “but her absence has been noted. I hoped Mrs. Seewald could let us know if she’s ok.” Others left similar comments, and if you check the comments on Jessa’s last post from July, you can see that people are getting pretty anxious for new updates on her family. “Would love to see Ivy now,” one of her followers told her. “Haven’t seen or heard much from you lately,” another fan said. “Hope you’re ok and not getting too overwhelmed.” One comment read “I am sure she will return when she can. She is a mom now and also busy making more babies to share with all the fans.” There’s quite a bit to discuss here, but real quick — Jessa better not be “busy making more babies,” because she just had one not even three months ago and we’re pretty sure her uterus would fall out if she tried. But it is interesting that she’s pretty much gone from Instagram, right? There’s always the possibility that she’s struggling with postpartum depression and just isn’t feeling much like being on social media, and if that’s the case, then we hope she’s able to get help and support for that. But like we said … she’s got two toddlers and a newborn right now. It’s more likely she’s simply in survival mode. Whatever’s going on with her, we hope she feels better soon. Once upon a time (seemingly before Al Gore invented the internet orrr something like that), you never met the creatives, visionaries or showrunners behind your favorite shows, but now, more than ever before, they’re on the forefront of promo campaigns like our new favorite duo Diallo Riddle and Bashir Salahuddin who went from “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” to cultivating their very own Comedy Central show. A refreshingly authentic series about Chicago called “South Side” that’s hilarious when it’s not revealing the heart, soul and beautiful sense of community that make the city so special. Billed as an aspirational comedy, the series follows two friends who just graduated community college with dreams of taking over the world but there’s one small problem: They’re stuck at Rent-T-Own–an endearingly run down rent-to-own store that attracts the south side’s most ridiculous characters (who, in one episode, refuse to return an X-Box). Think Donald Glover’s “Atlanta” but in Chicago (which you undoubtedly will) until you realize the series has a different energy that makes it completely unique. That, and the naturally funny cast of regular-smegular people from the community sprinkled into cleverly written episodes. As fans of great TV, we loved the music, zippy editing, cinematography, relatable characters in relatable situations, guest stars (we won’t spoil it), attention to very Black details and classic ’90s sitcom feel that set the tone for an amazing interview with two of Black Hollywood’s brightest talents. How did you get your big idea to Comedy Central? [Bashir] “South Side was very organic. Diallo and I always wanted to do a show about one of our hometowns–we actually developed a couple ideas around Atlanta (where I’m from) unfortunately we hit some walls with those. And then, with “South Side,” we really looked around the landscape and tried to figure out who was filming comedies that felt unfiltered and pure and we just felt like between The Chappelle Show, Key & Peele–we just felt like Comedy Central just kept making shows where you were seeing great stuff and it felt like the comedians were really doing the jokes the way they want to do them, how they want to do them. At the same time, whenever I’m home for Thanksgiving and Christmas I would be hangin’ out with my boys and just lmao and it kinda reminded me of the friendship me and Diallo have and other friendships that he has and it’s like ‘wait a second, we have all these great, funny people in our lives’ and if you ask most people who the funniest person they know is they’ll say ‘oh my cousin is hilarious, my auntie is so funny’ and, you know, it’s like ‘well, let’s put those people on camera’ So, we really developed a show about these two guys who are fresh out of community college and now they wanna take over the world. So, you know, it’s a blue collar vibe but it’s really starring a lot of Chicago people who have not even done a lot of acting–just naturally funny people. …my wife is in, my brother is the main character, two of my boys from high school are in it, Diallo is it, a lot of our family and friends are in it… and it’s just people in our lives who make us laugh naturally and what we ended up with was this really hilarious show that shows people a side of Chicago they don’t get to see, especially the south side, and showing people that we can have fun and we can laugh and be light and silly and all those things… And it’s still as authentic as something heavier. I know a lot of Chicago-based shows deal with pretty tough stuff and it’s like ‘yea, that stuff has a place and then we also have a place too where we can have fun’ because I think there’s nothing wrong with enjoying ourselves” We have to ask this question–because, working in this space we know you had to present this to people who may not look like us -[Diallo] Oh yea! Yes! We don’t want to say the room was mostlyyyy white buttttt –[Diallo and Bashir] “It was all white!” (laughs) [Bashir] “The President of Comedy Central, you know, he’s just somebody who really gets it and came to us four years before we pitched the show and was like ‘look, I think you guys are great if you ever wanna do a show come and see me–let’s figure something out’ Sometimes people say that and what thats means–and I think this is what you’re speaking to–it means they wanna throw some names on there that’ll satisfy some sort of diversity interest but ultimately still develop something that looks like everything else and has the same tired vibe as everything else. Kent Alterman of Comedy Central was the opposite–he was like ‘no, no, what do yall really want to do and he actually championed it and supported it and there were definitely a lot of notes and things we had to figure out but every single frame of that show is our vision and I think it shows in what you saw and doesn’t feel like something that was watered down. The City of Chicago is not a soft place–it’s a hard place–and I think luckily for us our comedy is a hard, sharp comedy that’s about some tough stuff BUT they were super supportive and like ‘tell your truth’ And so, the answer to your question really is that we just made the right choice in who we partnered with and I would encourage all people who are developing projects to really think hard about who you work with because if you make the right choice the person will help you create value and broaden what you’re doing in a wonderful way And if you make the wrong choice you’ll look up and wonder like ‘what is this we made this looks nothing like I wanted to make -[Diallo]- “Yea” – so we got lucky” Do you talk to other showrunners and creators in the space? [Bashir & Diallo] “All the time!” [Bashir] “We literally just hosted Issa Rae at the Clusterfest in San Francisco and she couldn’t be more of a delight and an intelligent, genius showrunner and helluva talent. And to be able to just chat with her about the process of showrunning and to know that we have a somewhat similar background because we got our start doing web material and she got her start on Awkward Black Girl–she created it and was doing her own thing–and to know we share the DNA of people who did their own thing before TV figured us out–that was special” What would be a success, in your eyes, for “South Side?” [Bashir] “For me, I always tell people that what you see about Chicago on the news is a small piece of a very big pie and we’re gonna give you the rest of the pie. And, you know, we feel like if the city of Chicago, especially Black Chicago, if more and more people start to think first ‘hey, isn’t that the funny place where everybody is really hilarious and has a good time’ vs. ‘hey, isn’t that the place where I just saw somebody who got hurt on the news’ You know, that is beginning to move the dial in the right direction. I don’t just want people on the outside to see that and think that about Chicago. My deeper goal is to have the people who actually live there begin to also self-identify moreso–which they already do but you just don’t hear about it–but self-identify moreso as a place of joy, as a place of comedy, in the same way Harlem is all about culture, specifically Black culture [Diallo] “I’m the only person involved in the show who didn’t grow up in Chicago but, as a person who didn’t, I can guarantee you that not only will you come out of it feeling like you know a lot more about Chicago but you’ll also understand all the ways that the south side of Chicago has similarities and relationships with all the other south sides of Atlanta, Inglewood, North Philly–all the neighborhoods where we are–you’ll understand the humanity that exists in Chicago and you’ll be a lot less likely to believe lies that get spread when people say it’s all violence and mayhem” Source: Comedy Central “South Side” debuts tonight at 10:30/9:30c on Comedy Central!

ESPN’s Ohm Youngmisuk and Dave McMenamin and Tarek Fattal of the Los Angeles Daily News are reporting both LeBron James Jr. (14) and Zaire Wade will be taking their talents to Sierra Canyon next fall. Bronny, when he arrives, will be a freshman while Wade who is currently attending American Heritage School in Plantation, Fla. will be a senior. James’ younger son Bryce James will also be following his brother to the school which enrolls students starting from preschool to 12th grade. The Los Angeles Daily News reported that LeBron James took a tour of the school during spring break fueling rumors of his arriving there. The decision to enroll both Bronny and Bryce in Sierra Canyon was purely a basketball decision for his kids per ESPN . The school is no stranger to basketball royalty either. NBA Champion and Hall of Famer Scottie Pippen’s son Scotty Pippen Jr., as well as Kenyon Martin’s son KJ Martin, had impressive seasons leading the school to back-to-back CIF State Open Division titles. Pippen and Martin both have committed to Vanderbilt where for NBA star Jerry Stackhouse is the head coach and will look to further the young hooper’s careers. As for D-Wade and LeBron James, the two have been looking forward to spending more time with each other again. Wade has plenty of free time on his hands now that he has retired and both himself and his wife Gabrielle Union plan to be in Los Angeles more now that his professional basketball playing days are over. Speaking with the Sports Inquirer , last December James added: “I told him, ‘No one likes to work out by themselves. So he can come to Staples. He can come to the practice facility anytime he wants to get workouts in. He can come help me with the young guys as well. Since the news broke, parties involved have been pretty mum about it. Monica has been accused of being too mum , actually. However, the star decided to break her silence on this week’s episode of T.I. & Tiny: Friends and Family Hustle. In a clip from the episode, the 38-year-old mother of three sat with her mom Marilyn and a therapist. In the presence of both women, she revealed the toll her recent split has had on her. I had two children. It’s been some rough weeks these last few weeks.” While, of course, the star didn’t go into detail about why things didn’t work out (there were rumors of infidelity and Brown rarely appeared on Friends and Family Hustle ), she said in a confessional that she was struggling to be okay emotionally. “Things in my personal life have been changing a lot, and it has not been easy,” she said. “I can not lie. My personal relationship is taking a major toll on me. I’m feeling it every day. The comedian has just been announced as the new host for ABC’s revival of Kids Say the Darndest Things, a title previously held by Bill Cosby from 1998 to 2000. Haddish is also set to serve as executive producer on the series, which will feature her chatting and with kids just like the original series. The show will be taped in front of a live studio audience and will feature both in-studio segments and bits taped all over the country. “When I was dreaming of stars I wanted to bring to ABC, Tiffany Haddish was top of my list,” the network’s entertainment president Karey Burke told Variety . “Tiffany starring in and producing this iconic series is everything I hoped for.” On the topic of some of the segments the show will offer for the upcoming reboot, ABC listed the following: ‘Kids Rule,’ in which kids explain to Tiffany the rules for everything from sportsmanship to dating; ‘Love Talk,’ where Tiffany seeks advice on her love life; ‘Best Carpool Ever,’ with Tiffany taking on carpool duty with a minivan full of kids; ‘Granny Tiff,’ when Tiffany, in prosthetics and dressed up as an older woman, receives technology advice from the kids; and more.” Tiffany is looking forward to series herself, telling the publication how she’s excited to see what kids are saying these days since she has no idea what they’re saying online. ABC is planning to launch the Kids Say the Darndest Things reboot this fall on Sundays at 8 p.m., which would be sandwiched between two of the network’s family-friendly staples: America’s Funniest Home Videos and Shark Tank .

In this video update from Barcroft, the boys say they have no regrets turning down offers to separate them – calling their condition a ‘gift from God’. The boys live near Raipur in India, again went viral in 2014 when a video of them washing and dressing their body was broadcasted. They say they were approached by several doctors with offers of surgery to divide them but said no. Source: FOX / Getty It’s the second to last episode of Empire Season 5 and tonight’s episode definitely did a good job of dragging out the, “Is Andre Seriously Going to Die?” saga. It looks like he is but again, you really never know on this show. Anyway, the episode starts with Lucious not wanting to accept that Andre is dying (he’s still the only one who knows out of the family). But Andre has accepted his fate and wants to die on his own terms. Lucious tells him not to do a dang thing until he talks to him first then he storms out. We see Dre carefully placing cards that he wrote out to all of his loved ones. Meanwhile, Cookie wants Teri to tell Andre she’s pregnant to give him something to fight for. Teri says she won’t say anything because she’s surprised that she’s even pregnant until she gets word from the doctor that everything is okay. Lucious gets into a minor car accident. It’s minor in the sense that he swerves off the road and hits a rail and keeps his life. He does get knocked out, though, and starts having dreams where he’s conversing with dead people from his past. Cookie’s cousin that he killed manages to tell him he ain’t ish, later on, he sees Shyne, and he even sees his dead father. The latter gives him the strength he needs to let go of Andre. Now we’re at a meeting at Empire with Becky, Giselle, and Patel. Jamal was supposed to be there but he’s on his honeymoon in Seychelles. Patel wants to know what’s up with the money and how is the tour doing. Then Thirsty interrupts with an Empire artist saying their checks didn’t clear. In fact, Empire checks are bouncing all over the place. It’s the feds again. They froze Empire’s assets. As a matter of fact, Megan, the leader of the pack, interrogates Cookie without a lawyer. Cookie demands a lawyer and Megan pokes at her about freezing Empire’s assets. Then she brings up Panama. She shows Cookies photos from her trip to Panama with Damon Cross and asks what happened between them. If Cookie snitches on Damon then Megan will unfreeze all of Empire’s assets. Cookie ain’t no snitch, and she ain’t no fool. Just the fact that Cookie is there without a lawyer is grounds enough to get her out of there. Cookie tells her straight where to go, too, before sashaying away. In the meantime, Becky, Giselle, and Andre, who isn’t even supposed to be working but everyone needs him, are trying to figure out what to do. Becky suggests throwing a new special concert, that is distinctly separate from the tour, where Empire artists are paired with non-Empire artists. There’s a venue that owes her a favor so maybe this could work. Now we’re the part of the episode where Lucious finally wakes up from his blackout to Thirsty calling and telling him he needs to get back to reality quick. Then we see a flashback of Cookie meeting up with Damon. He’s trying to get her to leave Lucious again. Cookie says she wants her hubby and her boys and the life they built, but she does tip him off about the feds since she’s feeling generous. Andre asks Kingsley if he can help whim reach Eddie Patel, who is literally at some billionaire boys club convention Silicon Valley. They have a quick exchange, and Kingsley says he won’t be able to get in because the billionaires don’t think too highly of him. He’s also skeptical of Andre asking for help. Andre says he forgives him and that he’s his big brother and that he needs him. That’s enough tenderness for Kingsley to wire him a crap ton of money, adding that it’s not half of what he owes empire, but it’s a start (later on we find out that Kingsley also gave him some leads on potential investors). Now it’s time for the special concert. Hakeem performs with Ty Dolla $ign. Tiana performs with Sevyn Streeter. And it’s a good night. Teri finds Cookie backstage and tells her that she got the test results back. She and Andre are expecting a healthy baby boy. Cookie asks when she’s going to tell Andre and Teri puts it off until tomorrow, obviously not knowing she may not have that long. Finally, the episode winds down with Lucious and Andre eating Andre’s favorite meal at a hotel, just before Andre plans to end his life. Cookie walks into her house and comes across the note he wrote her telling her about his heart condition and why he didn’t want her to know. She remembered where he said he was staying and rushes over there. She makes it in time just before Andre is preparing to take some pills, as Lucious watches tearfully, and busts everything up. She starts spazzing out on Lucious for letting their son kill himself so they have a moment where they argue. Then Cookie Dre that Teri is pregnant and that this is worth fighting for but the shock of Cookie already affected him negatively and he starts to have a heart attack and we end with them calling 911. Yup, they’re still dragging this out. Meanwhile, we just want to see if there’s a plot twist where Andre lives, or nah. The season finally ends next week. As Kanye West answers the door, Kim K. walks up and quickly informs him that Vogue is actually there for her — and in her first response, shares that they are rarely ever home together. Not only does her controversial husband make a cameo, her kids — North, Saint, and Chicago — appear for a few minutes and they’re so adorable. While loving on the babies and trying to answer questions at the same time, Kim says her secret to good parenting is “you just have to wing it.” She also talks baby no. 4, saying Saint would like to name him “Sainty 2.” Big sis North lets it be known she’s more than ready for her baby bro to arrive as well, but mostly just because she wants the boys to keep one another occupied so she can play with Chicago, it seems. Speaking of North, Kim says Anna Wintour had some influence in naming her. “Once she heard that rumor, she asked me and said that name was ‘genius.’ So that was helpful to me,” she explained. So what else do we find out about Kim? Well, she says she only spends 30 minutes per day on Instagram and doesn’t read DMs because there are too many. If she could go to dinner with anyone, living or not living, it would be her father. She says she wishes people “would NOT focus on my azz all the time,” but do we believe her? HELL NAW. She says she thinks she will be remembered for her “many talents” and one of the weirdest rumors she heard about herself is that she once killed a raccoon with her high heels.
