Blac Chyna Poses with Dream, Prepares to Shed Weight

Blac Chyna is clearly savoring this time with her brand new daughter. But she’s also making plans to leave that child behind. Or to leave the weight gained while carrying that child to term behind, we should say. First, the two-time mother and fiancee of Rob Kardashian has shared yet another precious photo of herself and her newborn baby, Dream Renee Kardashian. Check it out here: Chyna simply posted a sleeping emoji face for this photo’s caption. It’s good to see she’s cherishing such a moment, however. Because babies don’t sleep very much during their first couple months of life! But while Chyna is clearly making the most out of parenthood, she also said in a Snapchat video that she has her eyes on one particular post-pregnancy prize: Major weight loss. On Monday, Chyna posted a Snapchat of her healthy meal, saying on video: “I’m about to get this body back right – rice, salmon, salad.” Which is great and all. She should absolutely want to eat healthy. But we took up this same issue back when Kim Kardashian talked at painful length about wanting to shed her excess baby weight so soon after giving birth to Saint West. It sets a bad example for other mothers out there. There are more important things right now than returning to one’s former weight. You just gave birth to a human being! You were just at the center of a miracle! Sit back. Enjoy it. Appreciate it. Savor it. At the very least, don’t publicize your desire to get right back into shape because most mothers out there are so overwhelmed by parenthood that they simply can’t think that way. Moreover, they may not be able to afford to think this way. Chyna and Kim are far better off than a significant majority of people on this planet; they can afford personal chefs or personal trainers and they can pretty much set their own work schedule. All that venting aside, Chyna and Rob look so gosh darn cute with little Dream! It’s almost hard to believe this is the same couple that spend every episode of their reality show arguing, fighting and screaming. Since becoming parents, it’s been impossible to wipe the smiles off their faces, with Chyna sharing a photo of her breastfeeding Dream and Rob gushing like a proud papa. “I am so lucky!! Thank you @blacchyna for having our baby and being so strong! I love you so much and can’t wait to see her get older day by day with you Chy!” he wrote shortly after Blac Chyna gave birth . He later added: “I love you and Dream so much and Appreciate both of you. I know everyone saying that’s my twin but that’s def your nose Chy lol.” View Slideshow: Dream Kardashian Photos: What a Cutie! New aunt Khloe Kardashian was also excited about this addition to the family, Tweeting on Thursday afternoon: “My new niece is absolutely stunning!!! So thankful I was able to land in time to witness this miracle happen! Praise God!” And what about Kylie Jenner? “I can’t stop looking at her. Congrats @robkardashian @blacchyna She’s so beyond beautiful, a dream,” she wrote. We’re yet to hear from Kim and Kanye West, but they did send Dream her very first pair of sneakers. Of the Yeezus variety, of course. Please join us in sending Rob and Chyna your very best wishes. And if you want to see more of Dream, don’t worry: E! will air a Rob and Chyna baby special on Sunday, December 18. Because of course it will.

Chrissy Teigen on Breastfeeding: I Feel Like a Cow!

Chrissy Teigen is going to tell it like it is. Yes, she may be a new parent, but that doesn’t mean she won’t go out to dinner and that doesn’t mean she won’t tell off haters who have a problem with this. That’s why we love Chrissy Teigen, isn’t it? Along these honest lines, the model spoke to Entertainment Tonight this week about life as a mother, with she and John Legend having welcomed a daughter named Luna into the world in mid-April. Parenthood is amazing, Teigen said. But it’s also challenging and exhausting. “If you kind of do the math, you’re kind of breast-feeding for 10 hours a day, total,” Teigen explained . Don’t get the Lip Sync Battle co-host wrong, of course. She isn’t really complaining. “We’re so happy,” she made a point of telling correspondent Jennifer Peros. “It’s been really exciting and fun, and every day is so different, and seeing all her little changes is so cute.” Luna, of course, is a total cutie herself. As you can see here: Back to breastfeeding, though, which Teigen has even shared photos of her doing. “It’s very loving and sweet, but it’s not easy,” she said. “It’s hard to work your entire day around getting her the nourishment she needs because they are just little animals.” She means this in a loving sense. “They just use you for your milk and you just feel like you are just a cow all day,” Chrissy added. We’re guessing that millions of moms, famous or not, are nodding in agreement around the world right now. Teigen says she may still lash out occasionally, but being a mother really does put things in perspective. “It does seem all silly now,” she says of critics and her responses to them in the past. “Like, anything that you got frustrated over about before, nothing really matters anymore. And I think you just let things go a little more… “I’m learning to let things roll off my back a bit easier. I have more important things going on now.” View Slideshow: Celebrity Breastfeeding Pictures: #Normalize It!

Alyssa Milano Defends Breastfeeding Pics Again, Touches on Kim Kardashian’s Butt

Alyssa Milano made an appearance on The Talk this week and touched on two very important topics: Breastfeeding. Photos of Kim Kardashian nude . The actress has found herself under a bit of fire over the past few weeks after posting a pair of pictures online that depicted her breastfeeding her son , Milo. Alyssa Milano on The Talk In response, not long after Kim’s Paper Magazine spread went viral, Milano couldn’t help but wonder : Why are folks offended by my natural actions as a mother… but not by Kim Kardashian’s well-oiled rear end? Milano then appeared this week on The Talk and the subjects were raised once again. “I got really sad about it,” Milano said of the backlash to her breastfeeding images. “Because…who are we, that now we get upset as human beings if we see a woman feeding her baby? It’s crazy to me. Crazy, crazy, crazy.” All amped up, the star added:  “I just think, ‘Where are we that this has now become offensive?’ Not only is it beautiful, but it’s also a necessity. I’m feeding my kid.” Co-host Aisha Tyler then brought up Kardashian’s naked pictorial, which took over the Internet just days after Milano’s personal photos went live – and which no one seemed to object to. “Everyone thought she was so brave,” Milano said of the lewd snapshots. “Like, OK.” Kardashian is yet to respond to any of these comments, but Milano did make it clear in her previous Twitter rant that Kim has an “unbelievable ass.” No one has objected to that point, either. Movie Nudity Report: Her, The Truth About Emanuel, Loves Her Gun

Here at Skin Central we have a hard time understanding the logic of casting Scarlett Johansson as the lead in a movie, and then never once showing her gorgeous visage onscreen. But that’s exactly what happens in Spike Jonze ’s Her (2014), where Scarlett supplies just her voice and the only nudity is a few full frontal still photos of a pregnant May Lindstrom . You won’t get much from Jessica Biel in The Truth About Emanuel (2013) either- unless you’re into breastfeeding scenes- in which case you’re in luck because Jessica shows some sideboob while offering up a milk meal. Now on to the good stuff: the female vigilante flick Loves Her Gun (2014) has Josephine Decker , Trieste Kelly Dunn , and Jennymarie Jemison all busting out their double barrels! More after the jump!

Norwich Mom Danielle Gendron Thrown Out of Court for Breastfeeding Infant Son

Hot on the heels of Gisele Bundchen’s breastfeeding photos , a Norwich, CT mother has come forward to share her tale of being thrown out of a courtroom there when she began to breastfeed her 3 month old son. Danielle Gendron was in court to testify but was waved out by a marshal when her son, Maddox, needed to eat. Norwich Mom Thrown Out of Courtroom for Breastfeeding “I went to feed him and the marshal just, you know, she immediately just waved me out,” Gendron says. “That’s never happened to me so I wasn’t sure she was speaking to me at first so I kind of looked around and she was like ‘you get out.'” Because of her removal from the courtroom, Gendron didn’t get the chance to take the stand. The state of Connecticut is one of 45 states and the District of Columbia which have laws protecting the rights of mothers to breastfeed in any public or private location.  Sadly, Gendron’s story is not an anomaly. Earlier this year, Laura Trickle was nearly held in contempt of court for being unable to attend jury duty and care for her infant child at the same time. A judge gave her the order to feed her child by bottle or find a babysitter. Jessica Moser was told to give her baby formula so that the child could spend the night with her father. Gendron, it seems, is just the latest in a line of mothers to be shamed for breastfeeding.

Facebook Mom Blocked Over Breastfeeding Pics; Company Apologizes Amid Backlash

Facebook has blocked a mom over breastfeeding photos uploaded to a page she runs for new mothers, setting off a firestorm of debate and controversy. Kristy Kemp runs the support site Breastfeeding Mama Talk, which has drawn more than 4,300 fans, one of whom uploaded nursing images (below). Facebook reportedly responded by blocking Kemp, locking her out of the page she created and removing the image, which it said “violated” company policy. But a closer reading of the Facebook community standards makes this action seem dubious, and sparked backlash. Facebook rules for photos read: “Facebook has a strict policy against the sharing of pornographic content and any explicitly sexual content where a minor is involved. We also impose limitations on the display of nudity.” “We aspire to respect people’s right to share content of personal importance, whether those are photos of a sculpture like Michelangelo’s David or family photos of a child breastfeeding.” Yes, breastfeeding is specifically mentioned in the policy. As such, Kristy Kemp pressed the issue. After her 24-hour lockout ended, she immediately uploaded a photo of another mom breastfeeding her baby. It was also taken down in short order. Kemp told Fox40 : “It’s not right. I’m trying to do good for mothers and I’m getting kicked off for posting pictures of the most beautiful act a mother can do her for kid. It’s not right.” The issue of breastfeeding photos has come up before. Last year Facebook blocked mom Emma Kwasnica for uploading photos of herself breastfeeding. After the incident blew up, Facebook sent a clarification, nebulously citing a difference between some photos and those displaying a fully exposed breast. In Kemp’s case, media attention around the issue worked to her benefit after she was blocked. Facebook reinstated her account with an apology. No word if Facebook Home or the Facebook phone will carry a similarly confusing breastfeeding policy … but you can count on plenty of arbitrariness.

Military Moms Breastfeeding in Uniform: National Pride or Over the Line?

National pride? Disgrace? Somewhere in the middle? A photo of two servicewomen breastfeeding their children while in uniform has gone viral and added a new layer to the ongoing debate over nursing in public. It’s probably safe to say the Time Magazine breastfeeding cover went over quite well with Mom2Mom, a breastfeeding support group for military mothers. In a series of tasteful professional photos showing beaming moms nursing kids, one jumps out for obvious reasons: the photo of two servicewomen below … “A lot of people are saying it’s a disgrace to the uniform. They’re comparing it to urinating and defecating [while in uniform],” says Crystal Scott, a military spouse living at Fairchild AFB outside Spokane, Wash., who started Mom2Mom in January. “It’s extremely upsetting. Defecating in public is illegal. Breastfeeding is not.” It was Scott’s idea to ask photographer Brynja Sigurdardottir to take the photos and create posters for National Breastfeeding Awareness Month in August. One of the moms photographed in uniform, Terran Echegoyen-McCabe, breastfeeds her 10-month-old twin girls on her lunch breaks during drill weekends. “I have breast-fed in our lobby, in my car, in the park … and I pump, usually in the locker room,” says the proud member of the Air National Guard.” “I’m proud to be wearing a uniform while breastfeeding. I hope [the photo] encourages other women to know they can, whether they’re active duty, guard or civilian.” She said she’s surprised by the reaction to the photos, which also feature her friend Christina Luna, because it never occurred to her it would cause a stir. “There isn’t a policy saying we can or cannot breastfeed in uniform,” Echegoyen-McCabe says. “I think we do need to be able to breastfeed in uniform and be protected.” What do you think? Should they be allowed to?
