Brandon DeShazer, Kenya Moore’s assistant, was seriously roughed up by Appolo Nida, Phaedra Parks’ husband (below), in an epic Real Housewives of Atlanta brawl. We’ll have to wait months before this plays out on the Bravo show, but the alleged beatdown, which was caught on tape, all stemmed from a workout video. It’s not entirely clear why, but witnesses say Appolo flew into a rage and “violently attacked” DeShazer at a party that was being filmed for the upcoming season. Nida reportedly had to be restrained by SEVEN crew members. Appolo Nida was pissed because Brandon DeShazer and Kenya Moore had apparently agreed to produce a workout video starring Phaedra Parks. Instead, they went and produced their own, cutting Phaedra out. Nida felt slighted, blamed DeShazer for stabbing Phaedra in the back, and opened huge can of whoop ass on The Real Housewives of Atlanta star’s assistant. That’s according to witnesses. Nida has a different story. The reality star tells TMZ that there was a fight on the set, which he didn’t elaborate on, and that he tried to break it up and got attacked by Brandon. Nida says he defended himself but it got out of control.

School Bus Fight Leaves 13-Year Old Badly Beaten, Driver Questioned Over Lack of Assistance

A bus fight between students in Gulfport, Florida is causing ripples today through the Internet, partly due to the savage nature of the beating… but largely due to the actions of the bus driver who witnessed it. As the video below depicts, John Moody is heard calling authorities for help and telling them to get “somebody here quick, quick, quick.” But Moody himself just stands around and watches three 15-year olds attack a 13-year old, eventually breaking his arm and stealing his money. School Bus Fight: Caught on Tape! Reports say the 13-year old had earlier told school officials that one of the attackers had tried to sell him drugs. The unnamed 15-year olds were arrested and charged with aggravated battery. According to Pinellas County school policy, a bus driver is not required to intervene when a fight breaks out, only to call dispatch. “The three boys just jumped on him and started pounding on him and I did all can,” Moody said . “I was looking. It was like I was in shock. I was petrified.” The 64-year old, who retired two weeks after the incident, allegedly did not even help the victim even after the perpetrators left. “There was clearly an opportunity for him to intervene and or check on the welfare of the children or the child in this case and he didn’t make any effort to do so,” Gulfport Police Chief Robert Vincent says. Moody is not expected to be charged with a crime, however.

Just say no, folks… 9 Police Officers Required To Arrest Man High On Mushrooms An Oregon man who admitted to being high on mushrooms moments before he swiped a gun from a police officer and fired it and then broke out of handcuffs during an arrest was finally taken down by a total of 9 police officers. via Huffington Post A man who was high on mushrooms entered an Oregon city hall, struggled with officers, grabbed and fired a sergeant’s gun, and broke a pair of handcuffs before he was finally subdued by nine officers, police said. Police in Beaverton, Ore., say they used a stun gun seven times, but it had no effect on 18-year-old Jared Steven Leone, who had been living in Seattle. Leone was high on drugs and hallucinating when he entered City Hall’s police records division and started running in circles at about 5:55 p.m. Friday, officials said. Leone told a clerk he had overdosed on mushrooms, according to police. Detective Sgt. Jim Shumway said when officers approached Leone he “takes a swing” at one of them. Surveillance video shows Leone initially struggling with three officers when he allegedly grabbed Sgt. Robert Davis’ gun and fired. No one was hit by the bullet, which hit a wall. The video shows other officers arriving to try to subdue Leone. Ultimately, it took nine officers to restrain him. This fool was tweekin’ something SERIOUS! Ariel Castro agreed to a plea deal in an Ohio courtroom Friday that will save him from the death penalty, but never again will he see the light of day. He was sentenced to life, plus 1,000 years in prison. Ariel Castro Pleads Guilty The deal, reached with prosecutors, would let him avoid the possibility of a death sentence and spare his victims from having to testify at a trial. The plea deal entails that the Cleveland kidnapping perpetrator be sentenced to life in prison without parole – he will never even get a parole hearing. It would also mean that a trial Castro was facing on August 5 would not happen and he would not face the possibility of being sentenced to death. Judge Michael J. Russo went over the deal with Castro, and told him that he would be labeled as a sexual predator. Castro replied that he understood. Russo went through charges Ariel Castro faces relating to the allegations he held three women captive for a decade and asked how he pleaded. Over and over and over again, he replied: “Guilty.” An attorney for three kidnapping victims told CNN that they were hoping for a plea deal because they did not want to take the stand at Castro’s trial. One can certainly sympathize with that. A law firm representing Michelle Knight, Amanda Berry and Georgina “Gina” DeJesus, issued a statement after Ariel Castro agreed to a plea. “Amanda, Gina, and Michelle are relieved by today’s plea,” according to Jones Day. “They are satisfied by this resolution to the case, and are looking forward to having these legal proceedings draw to a final close in the near future.” The women want to remain private and don’t want to speak to media or others, the statement said, but they’re grateful for the support they’ve received.

But while speaking with guest host Anthony Bourdain on Piers Morgan Live this week, the world famous chef made it clear what would be on his menu if Justin Bieber ever peed in his kitchen: A brutal ass kicking. Those are the exact words Batali used when asked how he’d react if Bieber peed in one of his restaurant’s mop buckets, as the singer was caught on tape doing in footage that circulated a few weeks ago. Mario Batali on Justin Bieber Bourdain has also referred to Bieber as a punk . Yesterday morning, meanwhile, Selena Gomez said she would always protect her ex . Justin Bieber Sued for Ordering Gun-Based Guard Attack on Photographer

You know what they say: it’s all fun and games until someone pulls a gun on a photographer. As previously reported, a journalist named Jeffrey Binion accused Justin Bieber’s bodyguards of assault last week, stemming from an incident outside The Hit Factory in Miami. Now Binion has filed a lawsuit against Justin and one of his employees. He alleges that Justin was behind the attack, ordering a bodyguard named Hugo Hesny to throw the reporter against a wall and grab him by the throat. Binion then says Hesny “displayed a gun” [holstered under his shirt]” while he and the other bodyguards swiped the memory card from his camera. “Justin Bieber is now an adult, and he should act like one,” Binion’s lawyer tells TMZ. “He needs to learn that he cannot use bodyguards as weapons to harm innocent people. Bieber’s violent behavior toward photographers must end, and he should take responsibility for his actions.” There are questions over whether Hesny is licensed to work as a bodyguard in the state of Florida and whether he has a permit to carry a concealed weapon there. Binion is suing for bodily injury, pain and suffering, mental anguish and incurred medical expenses. It’s unclear at the moment what actually took place here, of course, but Bieber was caught on tape last week, seemingly directing the attack of ANOTHER photographer.

In ain’t isht news… Grandma Used 11-Year-Old Granddaughter To Shoplift Via WSBTV reports: A grandmother is in jail in Atlanta accused of using her granddaughter to help her shoplift. Police said Howard used her granddaughter to help her steal $139 worth of merchandise. Morrow police said she concealed the stolen goods in a baby bag, which was all caught on tape. “That’s absolutely horrific. You don’t do that,” shopper Vickie Harris told Jones. The allegations floored Harris and her daughter who were shopping at the Walmart on Wednesday. Harris said no adult should have their loved ones participating in crime. “It sets a bad example. You can’t really get mad if they do it,” she said. Howard told the judge in court she is unemployed. The judge explained she faces shoplifting, contributing to the delinquency of a minor and criminal trespassing charges. The judge said the last charge is because Howard should have never entered the store because she was barred after two prior shoplifting arrests. “I would tell her that that’s not right to do at all,” said Shannon Harris, who turned 16 Wednesday. She said she’s old enough to know a grandmother should never coerce their grandchildren into committing crimes. “It doesn’t even sound good coming from your grandmother in the first place. They’re supposed to set the example on how you should live your life,” Shannon Harris said. The judge gave Howard a $9,000 bond and once again ordered her to stay away from the Walmart. The judge also ordered her to stay away from her grandchild. They should have not even issued a bond. She need to sat her triflin’ azz down somewhere and be a better example to her grand kids!

Amanda Bynes’ bizarre behavior continued this week as the embattled former teen star got into a scuffle with a paparazzo … and it’s a lot weirder than you think. The tussle caught on tape by ET as Bynes was down Sunset Blvd. in Hollywood, shielding her face from being photographed. That part was pretty standard. Then she strangely came over, Amanda she didn’t like the way she looked, and tried to reason with the guy, flattering him into deleting the first photo of her.

SPOILER ALERT: On this Sunday’s episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey , Joe Giudice refers to his wife as a “bitch” and a “c-nt.” Really. It’s all caught on tape, as Joe takes a phone call and is overheard saying very bad things about Teresa Giudice . Considering these actions actually took place months ago, of course, we know the couple remains together and no proof of infidelity has been uncovered. But if it ever is, Teresa tells In Touch … … “I will not be with him. I will totally leave him.” The reality star adds that she is “not stupid,” which is evident by the fact that she’s banked millions by spilling details of her personal life to magazines across the country. Teresa adds that she warned Joe to never use such language around her or about her again, but also says: “I can’t defend him on this. I’m hurt and disappointed by him… [yet] we’ll get past this. We have to.” Pssst, Joe, take our advice: apologize to Teresa via the cover of a supermarket tabloid. She’s all about that .
