Source: Nike / NIke While viewership for the NFL might’ve come down a notch the past few years, gamers have continued to support EA’s yearly installment of Madden and now that the video game franchise is a few weeks away from releasing it’s latest installment Madden 20 , Nike is taking the opportunity to congratulate the few players who have a 99 OVE rating in the game. Re-imagining some classic Nike silhouettes with gold and white colorways, Nike has blessed the likes of Bobby Wagner, Aaron Donald, Khalil Mack, and with Nike 99 Club cleats which are designed “to each superstar’s unique style and skillset.” While Wagner probably got the grail of the 99 Club cleats with a golden pair of Air Jordan 1 cleats, Aaron Donald and Khalil Mack didn’t get scraps either as they both received white and gold-lined custom versions of the Nike Force Savage Elite. While we doubt the players will be rocking these 1 of 1 pair of cleats on the field anytime soon, it’s definitely a nice item to add to their trophy cases. We have the answer to the question we've been asking ourselves over and over for the past year or so: can David Eason get any worse? The answer, of course, is a great big “yep.” It feels like every single day, David manages to find new and exciting ways to be a terrible person. Well, they're not new, because he definitely has a few favorite tricks up his sleeve, and they're not exciting, because a racist, homophobic white guy isn't breaking news or anything. It's just unfortunate that a guy like this exists, that's what we're trying to say. And now, thanks to this especially horrific new statement from him … it really is just a shame that he's a real person, you know? 1. Swamp Monster This is David Eason. David Eason is a bad person. 2. So. Much. There’s a lot of proof of this. 3. Naturally He spent some time in jail before he got with Jenelle, and he’s been arrested for things like breaking and entering, theft, and multiple DUIs. 4. Gross He’s also been accused of being violent with ex-girlfriends — the mother of his son, Kaden, was successful in getting a restraining order against him after she claimed in court that he abused her and threatened to kill her. 5. And This Also, he’s married to Jenelle, which is a great big red flag in itself. 6. More Flags Speaking of flags, he sure does love the Confederate one! Just a few weeks ago, Christina El Moussa married Ant Anstead . Though we reported at the time that Christina's ex, Tarek, was happy for the couple, some headlines claimed that he was devastated . Tarek has taken to Instagram to clear up any rumors and share how he really feels about Christina's new marriage. Taking to his Instagram Stories, Tarek El Moussa spoke directly to his fans and followers. For your convenience, we have merged “Christina got married,” Tarek affirms. “Yes,” he says. “I’m actually happy for her.” “I think it’s a great thing,” he emphasizes. “I think they get along well,” Tarek says of Christina and Ant. “And most importantly,” he continues. “It’s good for my children.” Tarek and Christina share a daughter Taylor, who is 8, and a son, Brayden, who is 3. He very correctly notes that the most important thing is his children's happiness. “Really, at the end of the day, it’s all about them,” Tarek says. “I’m happy,” Tarek announces. “My life is amazing.” “I have amazing friends,” he raves. “I love my babies. My family is great.” “I just want everybody to know that I’m doing fantastic,” he says with confidence. “And,” Tarek continues. “I’m super happy and I’m positive and I’m glad that she found someone.” “It’s a good thing, it’s a positive thing,” Tarek affirms. “I’m not the type who wants to fight with her for the rest of my life and make my kids miserable,” he clarifies. “The truth is,” he shares. “Everything we do is about the kids.” “And,” Tarek continues. “At the end of the day my kids are going to have a stable household” He is glad about that, noting: “and she’s going to have help.” “And that’s exactly what they need,” Tarek explains. Tarek's positive attitude about Christina marrying Ant Anstead is great. He truly, strongly did not appreciate rumors that he was angry, hurt, or depressed over his ex remarrying. “In life…you can only take so much bulls–t,” Tarek wrote in an Instagram post behind such a headline. “I’ve been quiet for years never saying anything,” his post continued. “But this time I’m going to speak up.” “I was advised NOT to do this but…here we go,” he said. Tarek accused: “The fake media and their 'fake sources' will do and say anything to make a dollar!” “They tried over and over to break me and ruin me…but I’m a fighter!” he announced. “They even called my girlfriends from high school!!!!” Tarek shared. It is unclear if he means that entertainment news media contacted his exes about this particular story or about something else entirely. Tarek wrote that people “Showed up at my moms house!!! Went to my sisters salon!!” “All their stories are bulls–t!” he declared. “You want to know how I really feel??” he asked. “Watch my Instagram story.” His Instagram Story was, of course, the set of videos that we compiled for your viewing convenience here. It is understandable that Tarek might feel more than a little hounded by entertainment media. That said, while it's great to see him clear things up, maybe it was his “fake media” line that had those closest to him urging him to keep quiet. There are, unfortunately, very fake stories out there– we have debunked plenty of them over the years. That doesn't mean that media itself is inherently fake. And anyone saying “fake news” or anything similar is going to make people reflexively recoil, for obvious reasons. Still, we're glad and thoroughly unsurprised to hear that Tarek is happy for Christina. That is what we here at THG have been reporting since her wedding.
Quick, what does Leonardo DiCaprio’s current relationship have to do with the government shutdown? No one expected it to last this long, and it makes everyone little unsure of what the future holds. Believe it or not, it’s been over a year since we first learned that Leo is dating Camila Morrone . From the start, there was talk of DiCaprio and Morrone getting engaged, but that seems to happen with all of Leo’s relationships lately. Basically, he turned 40 and everyone started expecting him to pull a Clooney, settle down with someone unexpectedly brainy, and start churning out the offspring. Camila seemed like a good candidate for the Mrs. DiCaprio title from the moment we met her. Yes, she’s a model, like pretty much every other woman Leo has dated in the past 20 years, but those closest to the couple say she challenges the actor intellectually in a way that most of his previous partners have not. And now, she’s reached a virtually unheard of milestone, as she and DiCaprio recently celebrated one full year of dating. Leo is famously secretive about his love life, but he and Camila recently confirmed that they’re still an item by taking a New Year’s trip to Thailand together. As Lainey Gossip points out , Thailand is where Leo filmed his Titanic follow-up The Beach — a film that came out when Camila was 2 years old. But hey what’s a massive age gap in the face of true love? Besides, it’s not like Leo was ever gonna settle down with a woman anywhere near his age anyway. So is there any truth to the rumors that DiCaprio and Morrone are engaged? Well, that may be jumping the gun — but surely Camila deserves some sort of fancy jewelry for lasting this long with the notoriously fickle-hearted Leo. Whatever the case, 2018 was certainly a banner year for the Oscar-winner’s love life. Not only because he went public with Camila, but also because it was the year we learned that DiCaprio banged Vanessa Trump . As much as we’d love to see the guy settle down, perhaps we shouldn’t be limiting his ability to stick it to the Trump clan right now. Just a thought.
