Thanks Porsha! NeNe Admits Snitching On Kandi & Says She’s Done Trusting The Ladies Of #RHOA

Source: Bravo/Kevin Mazur/Getty Images / Getty Who said dat???? NeNe Leakes Says Doesn’t Trust Anyone On RHOA NeNe is all the way done with the ladies of RHOA after her big blowup with Porsha. As previously reported she and Porsha Williams exploded on each other via social media after NeNe felt her “little sis” betrayed her by telling producers that she spilled the beans on Kandi Burruss. Now, NeNe’s speaking in her Bravo blog and according to her, she’s finished and DONE trusting the ladies of RHOA, not just Porsha. NeNe’s admitting that she told Porsha what was said and added that her ex-little sis broke her trust. “Well, obviously I did! [tell Porsha] Listen, I consider Porsha to be like a little sister. I always try to give all these girls, Porsha included, great advice. I’m always an ear or shoulder to lean on anytime! I had not met Dennis at the time when Kandi was speaking about him at the lunch. All the girls, Kandi included, felt that since I was the closest to Porsha, I should tell her the info Kandi knew. Me not wanting to get involved in others’ relationships, I told them I wouldn’t say a thing to Porsha about it. I didn’t want to say anything to Porsha. Once I had a chance to speak with Porsha privately, I told her! She also told me that I was speaking to her in confidence and that it wouldn’t go any further! I thought her word was her bond. Later when I heard that my name was being thrown around as the one who let the cat out the bag, I went to Porsha and asked her why this was being said. She said no one had used my name, and if she was asked, she would not say my name. She had my back! Look, I’m loyal to those that are loyal to me! We made a pact, and I was riding with that, because I thought her word was her bond. Well, apparently not, because she sat right in her interview and said: “NeNe told me,” which I didn’t know until I saw the show last night where Porsha revealed that I told her! What gets me is that none of these girls can be trusted, and that’s a damn shame!” Ooop! Is NeNe wrong to give up on the ladies of RHOA??? It seems like every new season a friendship falls apart.

Really?! Trevor Noah Hosted An Entire Episode Of ‘The Daily Show’ Without Speaking After Losing His Voice

Source: Ben Gabbe / Getty Trevor Noah Silently Hosted The Daily Show on Tuesday The Daily Show host Trevor Noah appeared on his nightly broadcast Tuesday as he normally does, but this time, he stayed silent throughout the episode. Trevor is battling a vocal issue and was instructed by his doctor not to speak in an effort to avoid needing surgery, which was revealed on the show. Tuesday’s episode began with Noah sitting next to comic Mike Acosta, who addressed the audience on behalf of the host. “You’ve probably noticed that this is a little different,” Acosta said, speaking as the host. “Well, what happened was, over the weekend, I lost my voice.” Acosta read the monologue for Tuesday’s show, while fellow comic Roy Wood Jr. sat down next to Noah for a later segment. Throughout the episode, Noah made hand gestures to go along with whatever his guests were saying to act as if he was still fulfilling his hosting duties. With Trevor on vocal rest, @roywoodjr steps in to report that lame duck Republicans are still on their voter suppression game… a month after the midterm elections. pic.twitter.com/MduyhriVbS — The Daily Show (@TheDailyShow) December 5, 2018 The guest hosts did not yet reveal how long Noah is expected to be on vocal rest, or how the hosting duties will be addressed moving forward on the show. Noah was in Johannesburg, South Africa over the weekend to host a Global Citizen concert commemorating Nelson Mandela–which he partly attributes to his voice being completely gone. The 34-year-old further explained his vocal issue in an Instagram post on Tuesday night, adding that he needs to cancel some of his upcoming stand-up gigs. “I thought that my vocal cords were healed but according to the doctor, flying 36 hours and hosting a giant concert in South Africa didn’t help me,” he wrote. “So if I want to get better I have to take it seriously now so that I can perform at 100% on my new tour next year. I hate the idea of canceling shows but I also hate the idea of losing my voice forever so I’m postponing all this year’s stand up shows and working hard on rehabbing the voice.” pic.twitter.com/U75lArqw8w — Trevor Noah (@Trevornoah) December 5, 2018

Maika Monroe Knows How To Dress

Last time I had Maika Monroe on the site, I predicted it wouldn’t be the last we’d see of her. And damn, am I glad I was right. Because Maika showed up to the Cinema Society & Bally screening of her new movie At Any Price minus a bra and undershirt. Which instantly makes her one of my new favorite actresses. Who cares if I’ve never seen any of her work and don’t plan to? This girl is obviously extremely talented. Photos: PacificCoastNews

Disney’s Mysterious ‘1952’ Morphs Into ‘Tomorrowland’

From yester-year – in this case, 1952 – to tomorrow, Disney is so far only offering a glimpse into Brad Bird ‘s live-action feature in the form of a new title. Previously known as 1952 , the studio said it will now be titled Tomorrowland , just like the land meant to be a peak into the future. Tomorrowland was one of the five “original lands” that debuted with the Disneyland park in Anaheim, California in 1955. George Clooney will star in the film, which Damon Lindelof ( Prometheus ) and Bird co-wrote and is slated for a mid-December 2014 release. Home to famed attractions, Space Mountain and Star Tours, perhaps Tomorrowland holds secrets about the film version of its namesake. But the studio is maintaining a shroud of mystery though throwing out tidbits. Its official announcement follows: The Walt Disney Studios has announced that its live-action release previously known as 1952 will be titled Tomorrowland. The film will be released domestically on December 19, 2014. George Clooney ( The Descendants ) is set to star. Tomorrowland is written by Damon Lindelof and Brad Bird from a concept by Lindelof and Jeff Jensen. Lindelof ( Star Trek , Lost ,  Prometheus ) will produce and Bird ( The Incredibles ,  Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol ) will produce and direct. Disney attractions have begat Disney blockbusters through the years. Longtime classic ride Pirates of the Caribbean of course morphed into a long-running franchise that has starred Johnny Depp worth billions and Guillermo del Toro is working on a second installment of the Haunted Mansion , which first hit theaters in 2003. Classic mountaintop attraction, the Matterhorn in Disneyland’s Fantasyland is said to be the basis for a project titled The Hill . [ Source: THR ]

Mr. Toad’s Wild Rocket Ride: Could ‘Tomorrowland’ Be About Early Space Travel?

Now that Disney has announced that the Brad Bird  / Damon Lindelof project originally known as 1952 will officially be called Tomorrowland (and that  George Clooney will star), I simply must share my fever-dream theory that this movie will be about early space travel.  Note that I wrote “could.”  Like everyone else out there, I’m speculating based on a handful of clues that Bird and Lindelof have released into the atmosphere:  the movie’s title, and the contents of the banker’s box marked “1952” that Lindelof allegedly discovered at Disney.  Last week, Bird tweeted a photo of what was in the box: some yellowed photos, a film reel and what looks like a 45 record. An eagle-eyed blogger at Ain’t It Cool News also spied what it’s reporting is the August 1928 cover of Amazing Stories  comics peaking through the clutter. The website notes that that particular issue contains the first-ever Buck Rogers story to appear in any media. (The character’s name was Anthony Rogers initially. He’d become the more manly Buck the following year.) The Buck Rogers storyline is interesting, and, actually, it’s not antithetical to my theory, but if the comic does play a role in the plot of Tomorrowland , there’s another story contained within that fits more appropriately with the movie’s official title. The cover of that particular issue of  Amazing Stories  illustrates the beginning serialization of “The Skylark of Space,” a story by Edward E. “Doc” Smith that, in the 1940s, eventually became a novel of the same name, and is considered an early and influential story about space travel that’s right up there with the work of Jules Verne and H.G. Wells. The “Skylark of Space” is about a scientist who discovers how to harness a newly discovered element “X” for space travel at the speed of light. Now consider this: When Tomorrowland opened as a future-themed section of Disneyland in 1955,  the centerpiece exhibit was the 76-foot tall TWA Moonliner rocketship (below right) that was built with the help of the “Father of Rocket Science” Werner Von Braun, who designed the German V-2 rockets that were used in World War II and, after the war, went to work for NASA, where he engineered the Saturn V rocket that took the Apollo astronauts to the moon. The TWA Moonliner  was an early, Disneyfied iteration of America’s space dreams: a collaboration of Disney Imagineering and Von Braun’s scientific mind that envisioned what a commercial spacecraft to the moon would look like. (It was a far cry from the spider-like Lunar Module that eventually did take men to the moon in 1969.) The speculation around the casting of Clooney is that he’ll play Walt Disney, which makes a lot of sense, but if you look at pictures of Von Braun, The Descendants star could easily play Werner as vell.  (Speaking of rocket scientists, I can’t get a clear enough bead on the top-most photo in that banker’s box but the bald guy standing next to Walt Disney looks like Robert H. Goddard, who is credited with building the first liquid-fueled rocket. Then again, if the photo was taken in 1952, it can’t be Goddard. He died in 1945.) So, what would the plot be, you ask?  Well, if Tomorrowland and the Amazing Stories  issue are both valid clues, then, I’m thinking, the movie is a mix of history and science fiction where the TWA Moonliner goes on an actual trip into space in 1952 before being parked at the theme park.  Can’t you see the shot of the ship having just returned to Earth after some white-knuckle re-entry scenes, morphing into a shot of the rocket surrounded by tourists at Disneyland?  I can. I can also see Howard Hughes, who owned TWA at the time, and other real-life figures playing roles in the movie. Okay, you heard my theory. Now tell me yours before the movie opens on Dec. 14, 2014, but hurry.  I’ll be going to moon — bang-zoom!— a lot sooner than that. WATCH: ‘Warm Bodies’ more ’16 Candles’ than ‘Twilight’, says director Jonathan Levine!

“I basically replaced Michael Anthony Hall with a zombie” says Warm Bodies   director Jonathan Levine by way of explaining that his girl-meet-corpse rom-com has more in common with John Hughes body of work than the Twilight saga. I was on the red carpet Friday night for the New York premiere — which was hosted by The Cinema Society and Artistry — where I also spoke with star Nicholas Hoult.  How did the former Skins star perfect his zombie run?  Hours on the treadmill!  In fact, when friends stopped by his flat — Hoult is British — he says they took one look at him and said “this guy needs to take a break”!  Nope, that’s not fatigue, that’s zombie reflexes! Hoult’s co-star Teresa Palmer was also in attendance, and her favorite thing about Warm Bodies is that it helps the uber popular zombie genre evolve in unexpected ways.  That’s right, we can’t watch The Walking Dead forever – or can we…? Chris Colfer leaving Glee

“I didn#39;t necessarily know that it was going to be our last season next year,” Chris Colfer tells Access Hollywood. “I knew something like that was coming up eventually. The actor says he learned of Kurt Hummel#39;s fate – Glee#39;s co-creator Ryan Murphy announced several principal actors would be “graduating” – only recently via Twitter.
