Toshiba 32C120U 32-Inch 720p 60Hz LCD HDTV reviews

I purchased this 32″ LCD TV as a “slick deal” recently, which means I found it at an uncommonly low price, and purchased it on a whim. Out of the box, I was pleased to learn that the picture quality was going to FAR exceed my expectations. I have discerning taste, and I can say with a clear conscience that the picture quality of this set is on par with what I#39;ve seen from Sony Samsung. The black is black, the contrast is great, and the colors really pop. It is truly a stunning picture! And

‘The Great Gatsby’ Trailer: For People Who Don’t Get Why Everything Can’t Be in 3D

See original here:

Forgive me if you disagree, but I can still see no earthly reason why Baz Luhrmann thinks that his take on F. Scott Fitzgerald‘s The Great Gatsby needs to be in 3D. And while the film’s first trailer should change that, should remove doubts about that pesky extra dimension, this one simply doesn’t. It’s classic Luhrmann in this new look – the energy, the colors, the splash, the spectacle, even the… Broadcasting platform : YouTube Source : Film School Rejects Discovery Date : 23/05/2012 01:25 Number of articles : 2

Colors of the Wind (Justin Bieber Video) With Lyrics

A Video I made for Justin Bieber using the song Colors of the Wind by Vanessa Hudgens. Thanks to the sites i got the pics and videos from. Lyrics: You think I’m an ignorant savage And you’ve been so many places I guess it must be so But still I cannot see If the savage one is me Now can there be so much that you don’t know? You don’t know … You think you own whatever land you land on The Earth is just a dead thing you can claim But I know every rock and tree and creature Has a life, has a spirit, has a name You think the only people who are people Are the people who look and think like you But if you walk the footsteps of a stranger You’ll learn things you never knew you never knew Have you ever heard the wolf cry to the blue corn moon Or asked the grinning bobcat why he grinned? Can you sing with all the voices of the mountains? Can you paint with all the colors of the wind? Can you paint with all the colors of the wind? Come run the hidden pine trails of the forest Come taste the sunsweet berries of the Earth Come roll in all the riches all around you And for once, never wonder what they’re worth The rainstorm and the river are my brothers The heron and the otter are my friends And we are all connected to each other In a circle, in a hoop that never ends How high will the sycamore grow? If you cut it down, then you’ll never know And you’ll never hear the wolf cry to the blue corn moon For whether we are white or copper skinned We need to sing with all the voices of … http://www.youtube.com/v/ItoDcyflU5c?version=3&f=videos&app=youtube_gdata Visit link: Colors of the Wind (Justin Bieber Video) With Lyrics

Diddy-Dirty Money, Skylar Grey Bring ‘Coming Home’ To ‘American Idol’

Diddy also gives some advice to the singers: ‘Never give up believing in your dreams.’ By Alvin Blanco Diddy-Dirty Money (file) Photo: Kevin Winter/Getty Images Sean “Diddy” Combs always feels at home on a stage. During Thursday night’s (March 10) “American Idol” results show, Diddy-Dirty Money and singer/songwriter Skylar Grey performed a rousing rendition of “Coming Home.” After an introduction by “Idol” host Ryan Seacrest, Grey started the performance seated at a piano, sweetly singing the song’s opening refrain. Diddy was then seen center stage, delivering his lyrics in a hushed-but-dramatic tone to loud cheers from the crowd. Dirty Money vocalists Dawn Richard and Kalenna Harper stood atop elevated platforms, flanking Diddy while singing. Photos of Diddy with his children and snapshots from various periods throughout his career flashed across screens behind the Bad Boy Records CEO while he delivered his autobiographical verses. Some brief dance moves from Diddy during the song’s chorus drew more cheers from spectators. The performance closed with Diddy-Dirty Money standing toward the front of the stage and pyrotechnic effects flashing behind them. After rocking the stage, and at Seacrest’s behest, Diddy walked over to the “Idol” contestants and gave them some advice. “You get out of life what you put into it,” Diddy said. “You have to keep on practicing, keep on rehearsing. Never give up believing in your dreams. You guys have made it this far. Keep God first in your life, and don’t stop. Don’t ever stop.” Diddy then quickly jumped into promo mode, reminding the audience that in April, Diddy-Dirty Money will be embarking on the Coming Home Tour , in support of Last Train to Paris, through May. Skylar Grey’s last nationally televised performance was at the Grammy Awards, where she performed “I Need a Doctor” alongside Dr. Dre and Eminem . Skylar Grey co-wrote the Alex Da Kid produced “Coming Home,” Last Train to Paris ‘ fourth single. Dave Grohl Wanted To Keep ‘Rope’ Video ‘Really Simple’

Foo Fighters fans will get a Wasting Light preview when their white limo travels the U.S. playing tunes, band reveals during MTV live stream. By Ryan J. Downey, with reporting by James Montgomery Dave Grohl in the Foo Fighters’ “Rope” video Photo: RCA The Foo Fighters spent six hours making the video for “White Limo” and the hilariously lo-fi clip became an Internet sensation with more than 1.2 million views to date. Soon, the clip’s namesake will travel the country giving fans early previews of the band’s forthcoming album, Wasting Light. So when it came time to make the video for “Rope,” the first official single, it only made sense to break out the VHS cameras again. On Thursday night (March 9), the Foos premiered “Rope” on MTV and told fans what inspired their DIY approach during our MTV.com interview, which just happened to stream live from the California backyard of contest winner/Foo fan Shivan. “We like to keep things really simple,” Grohl explained shortly after the video premiere. “The way we made this new record, we did it in my garage. We did it to tape. We didn’t use any computers. We just used our old tape machine. To me, that’s sort of the easiest way to do it. If you’re in an environment where you feel really comfortable and you use really simple equipment, then there’s not a lot that can go wrong, really. It just is what it is, you know?” The concept of the beauty of simplicity fueled the making of the “White Limo” video, which was in turn inspired by old-school, hard-core punk videos like Black Flag’s “TV Party” and “Slip it In.” “They were always done on VHS,” Grohl said. “The lip-syncing was always out of sync. They were really silly. The music was insane but they were funny.” “So, we got this limo and we had Lemmy [Kilmister] from Motorhead drive us around. And it was me directing! So I was just like, ‘Uh, I don’t know, um, drink that whiskey!’ … There’s something about old school VHS. It has this weird resolution that’s almost more high-def than high-def. It makes you look so gross. The lighting is always bad and the colors are always off. There’s just something about it. It’s almost like an effect, you know?” After the online success of “White Limo,” the band elected to take a similar approach to the video for “Rope,” with Grohl back in the director’s chair . “Honestly, it was like, ‘We need a video in a week.’ It was just like, ‘Uh … OK.’ I came up with the idea of this cube and the colors and the silhouettes. I thought all of those things together with that VHS resolution would look kind of cool. It was really easy. We did it in like a day.” “Rope” is currently available as a digital single and the Foo Fighters’ Wasting Light is due on April 12. Audrina Patridge Gets To Play ‘Dress-Up’ On ‘Dancing With The Stars’

‘I’m definitely involved in the design, the colors, textures, cuts,’ former ‘Hills’ star tells MTV News. By Kara Warner Tony Dovolani and Audrina Patridge Photo: ABC If her enthusiastic Twitter feed is any indication, Audrina Patridge and partner Tony Dovolani (also an avid tweeter ) are ready to wow their fans on the “Dancing With the Stars” season premiere Monday night (September 20). When we caught up with the former “Hills” star recently, she told us that, aside from all her sore muscles, she was having a blast getting to know her partner and all his dance techniques. “He is amazing,” she said. “He’s such a great teacher. He’s very professional, and we have a lot of fun together. It’s really fun. I look forward to going to rehearsal every day.” Regarding the challenges she’s faced in learning so many new steps and routines, we wondered whether having to dance in high heels adds to the difficulty. “It’s not that bad, because I’m used to wearing 5- or 6-inch heels,” the stiletto-sporting Patridge said. “The ballroom heels are actually 2 or 2 and a half inches [high]. I had to get to that height, because I’m used to really high heels, so it’s not bad at all.” In addition to Patridge’s fancy footwork, one more thing to pay attention to when you tune into the show’s premiere are her flashy costumes, which she had a hand in designing. “All the costume designers are really good,” Patridge said. “I’m giving them tear sheets and different ideas that I like to inspire each costume, but it really depends on your body and what looks good on each person. I’m definitely involved in the design, the colors, textures, cuts and this and that, so it’s really fun.” When asked if she had a favorite costume yet, complete with the famously flashy ballroom dance accessories — i.e., feathers, sequins and ruffles — Patridge hadn’t decided. “I don’t know yet, because each dance is so different, so it requires a different costume,” she said. “Whether ruffles or fringe, I can’t say, but I love everything. It’s like playing dress-up.” Will you watch Audrina and Tony on “Dancing With the Stars”? Have you picked a favorite couple yet? Let us know in the comments!
