Ben Affleck on F Bomb-Filled Interview: #SorryNotSorry!

Ben Affleck is really f-cking angry at the NFL over suspending Tom Brady for four games . And he doesn’t give a flying f-ck who knows it. On Wednesday night, Affleck appeared as a guest on the premiere episode of Any Given Wednesday. Sitting across from host Bill Simmons, Affleck was asked about the scandal known as Deflategate, a topic that just won’t go away for some reason. After initially having his suspension (for allegedly inflating footballs over league-mandated levels) overturned by a judge last season, Brady will have to sit out the opening quartet of games for the Patriots this fall. Many familiar with the case believe Commissioner Roger Goodell is on some sort of witch hunt against the star quarterback. And you can definitely count Affleck as being in this group. “Deflategate is the ultimate bullsh-t f-cking outrage of sports,” Affleck seethed to open the segment. He then went on to drop about 18 F Bombs over the course of the interview. “They haven’t done anything to address this crisis of domestic violence in the NFL, but the f-cking football better not be eight percent lighter,” Affleck said to Simmons, a fellow Boston native. He added: “If the NFL really knew how to test for steroids, there’d be no f-cking NFL.” Ben Affleck RANTS Against Deflategate (NSFW ALERT!) Check out the full interview above and perhaps you’ll be able to understand why some out there think Affleck was drunk for the Q&A. The guy sounds off his rocker! But Affleck said in a follow-up Tweet that he was simply fired up about a subject close to his heart. And he ain’t sorry! “For those of you keeping score at home, I gave exactly 18 f*cks about my Pats,” Affleck Tweeted on Thursday. “Upon reflection, 12 probably would have been sufficient. “We Boston fans have always been known for our subtlety. One of my favorite interviews; hope you get to see the entire episode. #GoPats.” Simmons also had the back of his fellow fan. “BTW – we taped AGW in the late-AM, Ben got fired up about DeflateGate during the convo, that’s it,” the former ESPN employee Tweeted, adding: “We Boston fans have always been known for our subtlety. One of my favorite interviews; hope you get to see the entire episode. #GoPats.” What do you think? Was Affleck, who has some mean things to say about Jennifer Garner , totally wasted? Or it Deflategate an absurd enough topic that it’s easy to understand how someone can be sober and still be this angry over it?

Britt McHenry: Video of ESPN Anchor Verbally Assaulting Impound Lot Employee Leaks Online

Unless you’re a regular ESPN viewer, you’re probably not familiar with the name Britt McHenry. Unfortunately for the 28-year-old broadcaster, a whole lot of people are learning her name today in the worst way possible: Britt McHenry Tantrum Video In the above video, McHenry goes off on a tow truck company employee while attempting to get her car out of impound. The full video has to be seen to be believed, but here’s a rundown of McHenry’s most shocking insults: “That’s why I have a degree and you don’t…I wouldn’t work a scumbag place like this.” “It makes my skin crawl even being here.” “That’s all you care about is taking people’s money, with no education, no skill set…Just wanted to clarify that.” “Do you feel good about your job? So I could be a college dropout and do the same thing? Because I have a brain, and you don’t?” “Maybe if I lost some teeth they would hire me. Because yours look so stunning. That’s why I’m on television and you’re in f–king a trailer.” “Lose some weight, baby girl.” Yep, McHenry pretty much crossed off every item on the sadistic bully checklist. She clearly has lots of experience. ESPN announced today that she will be suspended for one week. Of course, this is just the latest in a long line of embarrassments for the once-respected sports news giant. The network’s controversial coverage of Michael Sam prompted viewers to rally a boycott last year.  Shortly thereafter, ESPN suspended Bill Simmons (one of its few personalities that anyone actually likes) for – of all things – criticizing embattled NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell. We’re beginning to think the best way ESPN execs can pay tribute to the late Stuart Scott is to take the network he helped build off the air before the current crop of a-holes does any more to sully its reputation. No Justice, No Peace: NYPD Officer Indicted For Manslaughter In Death Of Unarmed Black Man At Housing Project

NYPD Rookie Police Officer Indicted On Manslaughter Charge For Killing Of Unarmed Brooklyn Man Peter Liang, the rookie cop who killed unarmed Brooklynite Akai Gurley has been indicted on second degree manslaughter charges for the shooting that took place in November in Gurley’s unlit housing project staircase. According to NY Daily News reports : Peter Liang will face criminal charges that can send him to prison for up to 15 years for the death of Akai Gurley on Nov. 20, 2014, a source said. A grand jury started hearing the case on Feb 4. A spokeswoman for the Brooklyn district attorney declined to comment. A source said Liang was indicted for a top count second-degree manslaughter, which means he acted recklessly, among other charges. Liang discharged one bullet when patrolling the stairways of the Pink Houses in East New York, striking Gurley in the chest as the man stood in the landing a floor below. The News reported that Liang and his partner did not answer the radio in the six-plus minutes right after the shooting and instead texted their union reps. The DA had obtained an indictment in recent months against three cops in two different incidents involving alleged assaults during arrests. NYPD Commissioner Bill Bratton had previously called Gurley’s shooting “an unfortunate accident.” Liang is expected to turn himself in Wednesday morning ahead of his arraignment in Brooklyn Supreme Court. SMH. Damn shame they have these unexperienced cops out here shooting blindly in the dark, afraid of what the big bad black man is going to do. An innocent man was killed and meanwhile you can bet the sorry a$$ Police and Sergeant’s Benevolent Association are out here issuing statements about how sorry they are for the poor cop, who still has his life, who “accidentally” took someone else’s because he was afraid. APImages

Grand Jury Decision In Eric Garner Choking Case Expected On Wednesday

Can we expect justice or more of the same ? Grand Jury Expected To Reveal Decision In Eric Garner Case On Wednesday The grand jury investigating the death of Eric Garner — choked to death by NYPD officers after selling cigarettes on the street — is expected to bring back their decision on Wednesday . With the disappointing outcomes of recent racially motivated police violence cases, people are hoping that murderous police will finally be asked to answer for their actions in a court of law. Via NYpost : The Staten Island grand jury investigating the police chokehold death of Eric Garner has finished hearing testimony and will be asked Wednesday to decide whether criminal charges should be filed, The Post has learned. The lawyer for the cop who put Garner into a chokehold said he didn’t expect the panel to deliberate more than two hours before making its decision. “If there’s no true bill, I expect a press release. If there’s an indictment, I expect I’ll get a call to arrange my client’s surrender,” said Stuart London, the lawyer for Officer Daniel Pantaleo. Prosecutors will sum up their evidence in the morning and give the grand jurors legal instructions, then tell them to start deliberating, law enforcement sources said. It’s unclear what charge or charges the panel will be asked to consider. During an unrelated news conference, Staten Island District Attorney Dan Donvovan urged the city “to be patient,” telling reporters: “We are going to let the grand jury do their work and then answer a lot of your questions.” Donovan also said officials expect protests “regardless of what the decision is.” NYPD Commissioner Bill Bratton said that while “people have a right to demonstrate,” cops will arrest anyone who commits an “actual crime,” including vandalism. “We have the ability to have a level of tolerance, breathing room if you will, and we’ve been doing that for these last eight, nine days and this is a department that has a lot of experience dealing with various forms of demonstrations and we adjust our strategies and our tactics depending on circumstances of the moment,” Bratton said. What do you think the outcome will be?
